What a great start to every episode, it's good that Ben has now seen Lock Ness, even if he did not see the Monster. The woodland is so different to what we have on the South Coast. Regards to both of you. Andrew.

Hi Christina, Hi Ben, brilliant stuff, Loch Ness is an amazing place, but wait until you get in to Glen Affric, oh my word, what a place. I do hope you get nice weather and see it in all its glory. At the end of Loch Affric is a little fishing hut with its very own beach. You will know what I mean when you see it. Just amazing.
    All the best
    Dave

@@hikersheep when you bumped into the two Americans on the previous episode one of them mentioned the northern lights that were 95% predicted to happen, I thought you and Ben would probably be knackered from all the miles and be asleep when it started, shame you missed it,it was about 11.30 ish when it started and it went on for a good while.

@@hikersheep We missed them as well. Twice we snuck out in the middle of the night to stalked them...but no sightings.

Another great vid, Christina. Lots of hustle and bustle at Fort Augustus and along the west side of Loch Ness, but a good stop to refuel before the next leg. Pity the monster was not there to say hello. Maybe next time! (Bill)

Did you know that the Appalachian’s and the Scottish highlands are the same mountain range
Scotland was attached to the east coast of what is now the USA way back in time
