Weighing my GT500 and an Oil Change

- Time for the mustang's oil change, while I was taking care of it, it seemed like a good day to take the car out. Figured we should see what it weights so we have another data point for when it goes to the drag strip. I'm not really surprised, but it was enlightening, I had hoped it was a little lighter.

I had a old brown ford pick up I called the rolling turd. It looked awful but never let me down.
That's the best sounding GT500 anywhere! Looks killer too! I actually thought it would weigh more, with all the bracing you added. Did you have the ice tank filled? Remember, water weighs 8.34 lbs per gallon! Yeah she's a big girl, but she definitely knows how to get up and go!
I was thinking about that, I aside from the seats everything I've done is add weight lol
For the 1 inch intercooler upgrade, are you going with the VMP brick and water manifold? Getting that IC brick swapped out will be some work.
It will suck to get out for sure. I'm leaning towards the J2fab intercooler brick modification. They machine out the ports to accept 1in tubes, send you the tubes, and a new front plate with AN fittings welded on. Then for an extra 100 will upsize the H/E ports which I plan to send in as well. 1st priority is the trans though, so we'll see how it all goes

Yeah, it's crazy. It definitely is by about 300 lbs I believe. The next s650 mustang's have been weighing in at 4200 too, everything is just getting heavier as they add in creature comforts and more tech
They are also heavier than the 70s chargers and challengers as well
Ive dropped 200 lbs or so out of my 07. It should be around 3700 but i wanna weigh it and find out. Theyre not that heavy compared to alot of modern cars lol. .
