♡ hey everyone, in this video i show you how to build a house in roblox bloxburg (for beginners or anyone who wants building tips!) and some building hacks or tips and tricks! i make the layout and exterior of a two story mansion family house build in this video to demonstrate. hopefully you find this helpful and have a lovely day or night ♡

🌷 some of my building tips ↷♡
exterior:
- use the largest grid when placing pillars (whether or not you have advanced placement)
- i recommend using fancy pillars instead of plain pillars for your house entrance
- use the smallest grid the most when placing indoor furniture
- for traditional roofs, i recommend using the gable roof + the slanted roof just to add variety (for ex: you can add a slanted roof under a gable roof)
- wondering what material to use for your roof? it really depends on the type of style youre going for, but id usually do concrete \ plastic
- if you have advanced placement, PLEASE resize your exterior trees! Like flxral did, you can tell she used small and big trees. this adds a lot too your build!
- if you think your house is feeling bare, consider adding a few hills in the back (If you have multiple floors). I did this with my hotel build and it looked a lot larger.
lighting:
- when placing indoor lighting, never use instutitional white! instead, use a brown/grey lighting such as linen.
- dont just scatter lighting. It should be neatly placed. Use a larger grid if it helps organize your placement!
- before finishing your house, check the inside lighting of your house with the roof enabled and check it on all times of the day in build mode. Otherwise, lighting MIGHT look different when you look at it with the roof disabled in build mode.
- mismatch lights that are powerful and weak. as someone who always struggles with lighting, its important to know what lights you personlly use are strong.
(For example, you can add weak lighting in the corners of your rooms and add stronger lighting in the middle)
- if you want a strong light i find that the string lights and lamps can be strong when set to the color linen. Chandeliers and big lights are also quite strong!
furnishing ideas to fill in empty walls/space:
- never leave empty space in your house. avoid bare walls.
- you can add modern windows to your interior walls to make a glass wall. (Use in the kitchen)
- add a bookshelf and feel free to copy and paste it around your house!
- add large mirrors
- lamps
- picture frames
- hanging plants
- random sofa/seating
- hanging chair
- yoga area
- office
- kid play area
- piano
- fireplace
- storage selves w/ boxes

A good tip for when you’re placing floors is if you have a short turn or corner that you need to get past the finish your house you wanna go up you wanna do the normal one click the corner cause that the least everything continue building and don’t use automatic floor if you have a first floor, kitchen floor, and then living room, dining room floor and you place it in manual it’s gonna sayoverlapping floor and it won’t let you

That looks like it will be so helpful because I am always struggling so much so cause I’ve been looking so hard to find videos like this cause sometimes I feel weird having a different house because I’m times I get in the server that has 1 million people with very good houses and then I’m on the other side with the noob house in Blocksburg so I think this will really help please like if this really helped you😊

If you are struggling with colour make a colour scheme first so if u make colours look good then u can use them and don’t use vibrate colours
