@@Ogerpwned Seriously, it's so messed up. Skeletons are just people going about their lives in this wacky and uncertain world, just like the rest of us. It's 2024, theres no place for that kind of hate.
The skeleton story sounds like a dream to me. Everything is so illogical: random person claims they are dangerous, but they seem friendly, then family throws rocks at them, and then everyone just moves on? Since they were a kid at the time, it makes sense that they would think it really happened. Its also possible that their family might have false memories about it if op told them about the dream before. (This is assuming its not completely made up, of course)
The little girl probably was stopped by some "skeletons" (maybe just teens in costumes being jerks) that OP never saw. After they went back home, they had a wild dream of encountering the skeletons themselves on top of train cars. Notice how when the mom was asked, she just recalls the girl being scared part, not the rest. You'd think she'd elaborate on the whole "we encountered actual skeletons moving around"-part, but no.
like my 8 year old self dreaming of some lost DS mario game that was more of a violent open world game set at night all the time 😂😂 Thought it was actually real for a good 2-3 years
Hi! Opie and Anthony fan here, the video at 10:25 isn’t anything scary or weird. The person talking at the beginning is Ron Bennington from the ‘Ron and Fez’ show and the guy laughing weirdly is East Side Dave. Frenchy was a fan of the show and they would mock her often. In the video, she is falling asleep while on ‘Paltalk’, a videoconferencing service they used on the show back then. Kinda funny lol.

Maybe the OP in the skeletons story had a false awakening. It's when you dream about waking up, sort of. Notice how they were sleeping before the event took place. OP "woke up" and saw the skeletons because dreams are weird. The girl being in there is also normal as she's the last person OP interacted with before falling asleep. Perhaps the dream affected OP so much that they forgot it was a dream?
@@SamAx. well we don't know how old the mum is so the mum could be yk old old and might not be able to hear properly and has some issues so the point may have not gone across and it could be easily mistaken that she remembers op asking if she remembers op mentioning this strange occurrence or telling her it because kids just are like that and she probably laughed act it and dint elaborate further. Also when I was younger many of my memories after further thinking about it were defo dreams and I had believed it was real until I thought about it hard
That's what I was thinking. When I was little, my aunt had one of those dish subscriptions and an issue we had was that it would put on adult swim instead of cartoon channels, even if you clicked a cartoon channel. This happened to me a few times, and I remember being spooked by an AS bumper showing puppets of the "7 ate 9" joke, and thinking my brain made it up until I saw it in an AS bumper compilation.
the movie the devils has a scene where a crowd of people are being lead through a field of dead into a city where another crowd of people are in a giant hamster wheel that is being used to build the walls to the city.. i don't remember when the scene takes place but it sounds a lot like what op describes (leaving this here because it seems posting it on its own is just screaming into the void... hope someone can check in and tell me what they think!)
tbh the OP of the first story adamantly claiming they couldnt be props because it was the 90s just doesn't make sense to me, so what? Battery operated waving plastic skeletons could have and probably did exist in the 1990s. if the story is real, it's probably exaggerated, and it's probably some local kids messing around with some Halloween props while they hang out in and around an abandoned rail car.
I was thinking that, too! Pretty sure it was just one of those Halloween themed ghost trains passing by. Hence, why it was parked there. The OP also kept dismissing no one could have owned such technology because the town was poor, but like... companies can use your town as a means of a shortcut 😅 I think it was a mix of factors like country folks never seeing realistic props, the op being young, and that it was a Halloween themed train ride
For the skeleton story, I think the person really had this memory, but lied about the other people remembering too, to make it more believable. And what that really was, was something not so weird, but childhood imagination made it more colorful. The second one I don't know, but it kind of feels like something made to freak people out. The last one was probably something they saw but misremembered it being on Nickelodeon.
For the second one, the video of the girl probably relates someway to the Frenchy character in the radio show. It could be a running inside joke or smth like that.
the humans on hamster wheels sounds like a part from the film 'the devils' a 1971 ken russell film! (i've left this comment on multiple videos discussing the same post yet no one has checked it out yet.... im dyin over here)
I looked it up but I can’t find the scene individually and I’m not sure if I wanna watch the entire movie right now just to find a scene that may not even be there
@@Slicedude2004 SHOOT i meshed two scenes of that movie in my own head, it's been a while since ive seen it in full myself. its second scene has a funeral precession going through a field of dead tied to wheels and about the middle/latter half of the movie has humans in giant hamster wheels that are used to tear down a city's walls!! just skimmed through the movie again, my bad!!
the concept of “nude humans on hamster wheels” feels strangely familiar to me. I don’t have any recollection of watching something like this on nick, but there is a vague familiarity that makes me wonder if maybe I *did* see something similar and my mind has simply repressed it. it could also just be that humans on hamster wheels is fairly common imagery in media lol

My theory on the Opie and Anthony section is that it's just a video making fun of a guest they find boring. Anyone who listens to a radio talk show or podcast has this one regular guest on a show they listen to that they just don't find at all funny or insightful, and wonder why they're brought on in the first place. So why the woman acting bizarrely? I think it's really simple: she keeps falling asleep. Either the clip is unrelated and added by the maker of the video as a sort of reaction, or it's an actual reaction stream of the show where she actually fell asleep. Translation: "Frenchy is so boring that he literally puts people to sleep"
Yeah that's a good theory 👍 plus it's an almost 2 decades old video and that explains the weird comedy of the time, but the guy recording the video from a screen gives it all a whole "snuff" vibe to it 😂

That skeleton story is unbelievably stupid. Like seriously, you see literal reanimated skeletons walking on top of a train car, then you get your mom and family, and throw rocks at them? And after that you're just like "welp, that didn't do much, I guess we'll just leave"? I mean yeah I obviously don't believe it, but it's at least it's an original story, you must give them that.
That is probably the most believable part of this story. The two times I've head on something supernatural from my loved ones you can't really do much about it afterwards other than wtf over it and then it becomes "remember that time when? what was that about".
Regarding the 'Opie and Anthony Weird Video', I can tell you that the O and A show used a web application on their show called "PalTalk." This was essentially a video chatroom, where a camera set up in the O and A studio would record what O and A and their guests were saying and doing. It also had the ability to allow fans (also known as 'pests') of the show to join this same chat room with thier webcams, where they would participate and talk with the hosts and each other. Almost like Zoom does today. My theory is that this lady logged onto the live O and A PalTalk session and just happened to be sleepy and dozed off a few times. Another fan, probably "turbofan1", saw this and did a short screen recording on the woman and made this video and probably shared it with others by linking it to online forums for the purpose of making fun of her at her expense. I doubt that O and A or their guests were even aware of this woman in particular and just happened to be talking to "Frenchie"( a show contributor) while this recording was going on. It may seem "mean sprited" because, frankly speaking, it was. the O and A show was built on the concept of making fun of everyone and anything, regardless of how insensitive it was. Where the hosts, staff, guests, and even fans got roasted or otherwise mocked in vicious fashion. Nothing was off the table. The video uploader was probably trying to do the same with this woman. I think the lady is doing fine, she just happened to be trolled by some other fan of the show. The video quality, editing, wierd font of the text crawling on the top of the video, and lack of context probably added to the "unnerving" vibe that the reddit users were feeling. I personally don't think the uploader "turbofan1" was doing anything insidious. They are probably just a troll that is bad at video editing. Apologies for this long-winded explanation. I'm just sharing what I think are pertinent details to add context that may help explain my theory better to anyone unfamiliar with the O and A show.
Yeah that's a really good summary 👍 I was also wondering if it had something to do with one of those early and weird chat rooms of yesteryear, I can see how ir could come across as weird for today's standards
from a commenter in the opie and anthony vid: “ This audio clip is from ‘The Ron and Fez show’ and the people talking are Ron Bennington, Fez Whatley and East Side Dave Mcdonald. Frenchy was a fan of the show and regular guest. The video is her continuously falling asleep on ‘Paltalk’, a videoconferencing service they used back in the day. for the skeleton story, as a kid me and my sister both thought we saw a tiny, small, little witch flying by the moon one night when we were kids at our grandmas house, we looked up at it and we stared in awe, but then like nearly 12 years later, it turns out the entire time it was one of my aunts testing out a witch puppet she had for halloween, as crazy as puppets might seem, i feel like at least personally they arent out of the realm
My theory for the skeletons is that it was either a dream, or a few people that were severely underweight and sick to the point where you could see all their bones through their skin. They mention it being a very poor area, so that could be a possibility, and to a child that might seem like the most logical explanation
the skeleton thing is definitely a memory fueled by some sort of weird childhood perception thing. Maybe it was a dream: most people have some strange memory as a child that ended up being a dream or something. At the same time, I think it was probably kids messing around with skeleton props, or skeleton suits. Not only do children sometimes remember things poorly, but even as adults we often don't think of the random things people do. Maybe they were making a short film. Maybe they were pulling some prank. Maybe they weren't even skeletons, but something somehow skeleton-adjacent. Assuming all the details of the original story are correct, the answer would be necromancy; so something with the OP's perception must have been off
Commercials don't play during SpongeBob btw^ SpongeBob has 11 minute episodes, if it just started back up it would have to be either a special or a movie, which would be a bit more rare
Hey Shai! I have a piece of lost media you can cover! Basically in 2020, Big Blue Bubble hosted a live series called Fandemonium, which allowed their three main characters; Mammott, Furcorn and Pom-Pom to interact with the audience. It was highly cringey, however that’s not the main focus. Big Blue Bubble then announced the development of a TV show called Those Singing Monsters. Concept art was released, which looked highly weird and different compared to the actual designs. Sadly however, the shows development got canned and nothing much is known. I DO however have a theory that storyboards of one of the episodes were made before said development got canned, and I was wondering if you could cover this piece of lost media as a way to boost awareness. From, Z-Gunna.
I was obsessed with msm when it came out and got back into it from 2018-2020 (def 2020) and i remember the concept art. Still stored in the back of my brain.
No idea if this was already said by someone, but here goes. The voices in the video are from the Ron & Fez show, not Opie and Anthony. Though both shows were back to back on the same radio station (WNEW 102.7FM and later K-Rock 92.3FM in New York City). The specific people are East Side Dave, Ron Bennington and a recurring guest to the show they called "Frenchie". Frenchie's schtick was calling into the show while a guest caller was on (usually some guy pushing their new book or the like) and insulting them in an over-the-top French manner in order to make the guest hang up. His catch phrase (or often played sound clip) was "I drink beer 'till I pass out!" As for the web video window; the radio station Ron & Fez were on had a video chat room where fans could log in and watch other fans and the inside of the studio as the hosts did their show. It was called PalTalk. A lot of weird people would log in and do things trying to get the host's attention.
The hamster wheel thing is VERY plausible, but the broadcast definitely wasn't from Nickelodeon's signal. I grew up with satellite TV, and channels definitely would come in wrong. Like, you could change the channel to 299, and 175's broadcast would show up, sometimes still showing 299's information. Changing the channel would fix this, just as the post said. I have a very weird bias towards this, to be honest. The placement of our satellite made it a wonderful target for this kind of stuff, since it was very often up against strong winds and heavy rain. More often than not, its usually something wrong with how the signal is retrieved.
Just as a lot of other people are saying, the hamster wheel thing is super familiar. I know something like it definitely exists, but it wasn't on Nickelodeon lol.
The editing style just keeps getting better and better! The nude humans and hamster wheel story sounds vaguely familiar to me. I was born in the early 2000s so there is almost no chance that I saw broadcast and actually remember it, but perhaps I saw it somewhere else because it definitely does feel real enough to the point where I feel like I have seen it. In my recollection however, I remember the land comprising of small hills and way off in the background was a giant wall that spanned across the entire screen. Nothing was beyond this wall and it was very dark, in fact the darkest thing in the entire frame.
the skeletons story, I've seen some crackheads that had me questioning how they were still alive with just moving about looking like skeletons from a distance and even close up, it's entirely plausible as a real story.
I was looking for a comment like this. I remember hearing somewhere that people who do hard drugs would live near railroad tracks/abandoned trains in empty areas. I honestly think that op and their friend happened to see drug users.
The skeleton story is one of those weird ass kids memories that didn't really happen. I have all kinds of weird asf memories from my childhood that make zero sense, and it's like, how did my mind even come up with them? One of them being this weird, illogical metal rod play structure at my elementary school that was there some days, and not there other days. No explanation for that one. Another one was a weird, 4-legged spider creature that was all black and had orbs(?) on its legs, and it scared me. No explanation for that, either. As a kid, you just think up weird shit and it's now a part of your memories forever.
I watched one of those memories form in my brother when we were kids walking to a house on Halloween and this woman waved at him and he freaked out and later told me he saw her as like a disembodied head with no eyes bouncing on a spring
Legit. For the longest time I told my mom and sister that I remembered them chasing a prehistoric cassowary on the beach in 2015 ( I live in New Zealand ) I still sometimes slip up and mistake this dream for reality. Thanks " child me. "
The footage of the woman in that video looks kinda like she's slowly falling asleep, wakes up, then starts to fall asleep again. Might even be sped up a bit.
The skeleton one just sounds like a dream to me. It vaguely makes sense but also has random, surreal elements like any dream. That's why they were hyper detailed about it. Because it's a scenario out of a dream.
I had a paranormal experience when I was a kid. Don’t remember exactly how old I was but was elementary school age. I was having a sleepover at my friends house and we used to play a game called ghost hunters where we creep around the house, shine flashlights, take pictures, try and scare each other etc. after we had finished playing, we would look thru the photos and see what we found. One time as we were looking, we had taken a photo of my friend as a baby and in the photo there was a hand pointing at the photo. No arm or body, just a phantom hand like the master hand from smash bros. Still a little creeped out by it to this day
could be that the light was caught in the camera in a specific way that resembled a hand. especially if a flashlight's lens was anywhere near the camera when it went off.
The Opie & Anthony clip is just a girl on cam with them. They used to use a video chat room system called PalTalk. She’s just a listener falling asleep on cam, it’s nothing sinister.
The skeleton story sounds like it might be just really skinny people. He never mentions their spines, which would be most prominent. And they mentioned the family next door couldnt afford to eat.
As far as the skeletons story goes, I’m reminded of the famous line, “that which is presented without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.” People are too quick to declare every random bit of nonsense they find online a legit “mystery.”
@@Hankyuh8I mean…this channel does provide a lot of legit mystery and lost media content. There are plenty of real mysteries in the world without people making shit up, so we’re allowed to call out obvious BS when we see it.

Awww man, I was hoping Maniac Moons would be mentioned. (Basically it's a PS1 prototype that appeared on the internet out of nowhere sometime in possibly early 2005 & to this day no one knows who developed the game nor who was going to publish it).
I might have an explaination for the "Human Hamster Wheel Story" Cartoon Network one time broadcasted an old black-and-white russian film that should have aired on a different channel owned by the same company. The incident is documented on @RebelTaxi 's "Top 12 OBSCURE Forgotten NICKELODEON Shows". Maybe something similar happened
Oh wow. I assumed it was an issue with the OP's satellite, since my family had a poorly placed one when I was a kid, and it'd show the wrong channel if the wind hit it. Cartoon network definitely does have a track record for broadcast errors, though. They'd pull episode premieres halfway through the airing sometimes. I think I've even seen them put up the technical difficulties message after the incorrect broadcast finished lol
According to that video, the Russian film was "Ivan's Childhood." I've seen it a couple of times and there are definitely no human hamster wheels in it!
That first story reminds me of the time I was a kid living on a cul de sac with the other kids on the street. Outside my house in the front yard was a stick just floating in the air. We could all wrap our hand around it and there was no string/spider webs. Then I poked it and it fell. It’s so weird and bothers me to this day. The other kids still remember it too.
kinda reminds me of something weird I saw as a kid when i was at school. i saw this weird, small, pitch black blotch in the sky, just floating there, completely frozen and motionless. I pointed it out to my friend and they saw it as well, but neither of us had any clue what it was. The shape is hard to describe - kinda like a squashed fly on a windshield is the closest comparison I could think of. I don't think it was a cloud - it was a clear sunny day, and the thing looked jet black. I saw this around the middle of the day if I remember correctly, but couldn't stare for long because I had to go inside and get back to class. By the time school was over, it was gone. I still wonder about what that was sometimes.
reminds me of this time when i was in middle school, my class was outside walking laps during pe and i was zoning out looking at the sky, listening to music. There was a bird flying around, so i focused on it, and then it flew straight through the wall of my school. i was so confused 😭 it looked like it clipped/glitched straight through the wall.
About two weeks ago I was on a car ride with my sister, aunt and grandmother, and at a certain point I looked out of the car window and saw an airplane that looked like it was frozen in mid-air, mid-flight. The car was moving at normal speed while I saw it, so it was probably some trick my mind was playing on me, or a weirdly placed, insanely detailed prop or something. My aunt was focused on driving and my grandmother wasn't paying attention to the view outside the window, so neither of them saw it, but my sister did. Not as weird or unexplainable as your stories, but I wanted to share regardless.
The Hog Rider card is unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5). He is a very fast building-targeting, melee troop with moderately high hitpoints and damage. He appears just like his Clash of Clans counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a beard, a mohawk, and a golden body piercing in his left ear who is riding a hog. A Hog Rider card costs 4 Elixir to deploy. Strategy His fast move speed can boost forward mini tanks like an Ice Golem in a push. At the same time, he can also function as a tank for lower hitpoint troops such as Goblins as he still has a fair amount of health. Most cheap swarms complement the Hog Rider well, as they are nearly as fast as him and usually force more than one card out of the opponent's hand. The Hog Rider struggles with swarms, as they can damage him down and defeat him quickly while obstructing his path. Barbarians in particular can fully counter him without very strict timing on the defender's part, though be wary of spells. A Hunter can kill the Hog Rider in 2 hits if placed right on top of it. However, if you place something in front of the Hog Rider, the Hunter's splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the card in front of it more. The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog Rider to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats will immediately be defeated by the spell, while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow up Zap or Giant Snowball. However, this strategy isn't very effective against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a while to destroy the building, giving the opponent ample time to articulate another counter. Against non-swarm troops, it can deal a lot of damage during the freeze time, but this can allow the opponent to set up a massive counterpush. For this reason, players should either only go for a Hog Rider + Freeze when they have other units backing it up from a counterattack, or if the match is about to end and they need to deal as much damage as possible. It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider simply to destroy a building, especially if it is the only building targeting unit available, as defeating Crown Towers becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of the building are more effective. The exception to this is an Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's Tower. If a Hog Rider placed at the bridge, he can destroy the Collector for a positive Elixir trade, though the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to deal any damage to them. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value. In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider against one building. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough, that they will arrive to their next Hog Rider before the next building arrives in the opponent's card rotation. Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying Machine can snipe those buildings, preserving some of the Hog Rider's health, possibly allowing it to get some Tower damage. When there are buildings placed in the middle to counter the Hog Rider, understanding the placement of the Hog Rider and the type of building placed can help the Hog Rider to bypass certain buildings. Passive buildings such as spawners and Elixir Collector have a larger hitbox than defensive buildings; which means that if a passive building was placed 3 tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, then it is impossible for the Hog Rider to bypass that placement as the Hog Rider will get pulled to that building. Defensive buildings have a smaller hitbox than a passive building, which means if that if a defensive building was placed three tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, a Hog Rider placed at the very left or right side of the Arena may be able to bypass it due to its smaller hitbox. If the player has a building already placed down in the center of the arena, and the opponent tries to bypass it with a Hog Rider at the edge of the arena, they can use certain air troops to push the Hog Rider towards the building as it jumps over the river, effectively denying the bypass attempt. They must be already hovering over the correct placement, as very quick reflexes are required to correctly perform this technique. For Bats, Skeleton Dragons, and Minion Horde, they should be placed right in front of the Hog Rider as soon as it is deployed. For Minions, Skeleton Barrel, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Electro Dragon, Baby Dragon, Inferno Dragon, Balloon, and Lava Hound, stagger the above placement one tile to the right if the Hog Rider is placed on the left side of the arena, and vice versa. They can also use ground troops to achieve the same result. Something like an Ice Golem deployed at the Hog Rider’s landing spot will obstruct his path and force him to go around the unit, which causes him to be closer to the building instead of the Crown Tower. The Hog Rider can kite Very Fast non-building targeting troops due to his own Very Fast speed and building only targeting if he is placed on the fourth tile from the bridge, slightly into the opposite lane. He can also stall grounded units when placed right at the bridge. He will pull them towards him while deploying, and then be untargetable by them when he jumps over the bridge. After landing, he will pull them back. This can be useful when the player needs to deal damage in the same lane they are defending. It will also help separate troops behind a tank in a large push. A Tornado placed on the second tile front of the player's King's Tower and staggered two tiles towards the Princess Tower will activate it without any damage dealt to the Princess Tower, helping them in defending future pushes. This can also be a method of mitigating all damage dealt to a Princess Tower, but doing this more than three times may result in the King's Tower's health being low enough to be targeted directly, opening up the possible threat of a back door three crown. A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie, typically referred to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend against most troops, while the Valkyrie can protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used to deal damage to the tower. This can be effectively countered by Lightning, one-shotting the Musketeer and severely damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider. The Minion Horde is also effective, but the enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have enough time to severely damage the Tower. The Hog Rider should be placed behind the Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in front of the Hog Rider, protecting it. A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel can be awkward for the opponent to defend against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the most effective way to deal damage. However, a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed directly on the Tower. Pairing the Hog Rider with the Balloon can deal devastating damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can also destroy any buildings attempting to slow down the combo. However, this combo is very vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as neither of the troops target anything but buildings. Additionally, they are easy to separate, due to the disparity in move speeds. Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon can be played in different lanes to spread the opponent's defenses thin. However, a building or Tornado can bring them back together for an easier defense. The Hog Rider can be paired with the Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and damage combo. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use a spell like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is. A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. They are also unable to target air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this easily. A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If the opponent does not react fast enough, the Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of damage to the Princess Tower. This can also allow the player to quickly scout the opponent's deck if they happen to react to him fast enough.
Halloween props could easily be that sophisticated in the 90s. Just look at all that Jim Henson could do with puppets in the '70s. Never mind that video projectors also existed. I see no reason to doubt OP's story, but if I were them my question would simply be "How did they do that cool prank?"
This is so weird but I’m from Laredo Texas and something similar happened to my sister and I as kids. We were walking our aunts neighborhood and some random kids waved us over and said “come look in this field” she took us to a abandoned lot and pointed at a hole in the ground maybe 100ft away. The girl kepts pointing and told us “you see the man standing up, he’s dead” she kept saying stuff like that but I didn’t see a damn thing and the sun was setting, I look at my sister and she’s crying and panicking and everyone starts to run away. My sister described him as a skeleton standing up from the hole
The hamster wheel one seems like a dream remembered as a memory, it seems very likely that they came in late, turned on the TV and then likely just fell asleep immediately without realising, had the dream and then woke up and changed the channel. Sometimes if you're very relaxed or tired you can slip into a sleep or half sleep without realising it, it's also possible it could have been a form of sleep paralysis.
The first one is either the OP mistaking a dream he had for a real event, or it was some Halloween decorations someone put up. I lean more towards it being Halloween decorations, the human brain tends to add and forget key parts, and not out of the question OP's mind forgot that in the midst of the fear and confusion of the time, and the fact he mentioned his mother remembered it which obviously wouldn't happen if it was a dream, and also mentioning the skeletons had clothes on and kept waving even after being pelted with rocks. While the 90s wasn't as technologically advanced I'm sure some decorations had movement. Like the waving Santa lights you see at Christmas. It sounds a lot like some quirky animated holiday decor that someone would probably stick outside their house in October. The better question is, was it really on a train car, or was it outside someone else's home and the OP has misremembered it?
They already said why it couldn’t be Halloween decorations. I’ll never understand people who decide to ignore a counter argument just to argue the same thing that was explained away. Npc energy frfr.
@@Robzeke using some common sense it’d be hard to believe that technology could do that at that point in time. But I understand your point. Generally speaking though I’d say it’s pretty easily ruled out unless there’s a public source someone could point out. And the whole “blocking the path/trail” scene would make much less sense. Like who’s using these Halloween decorations to scare some locals? They’d really have to go out of their way for it but yeah I suppose it’s not an impossibility.
The girl acting strange in the video has a really simple explanation. Back before streaming was widely available, radio shows used chat rooms and other programs so their listeners could see into the radio studio. Sometimes the programs allowed the person listening to stream their own Webcam, so other listeners and the radio guys could see them too. This clip is of the Opie and Anthont show, a in infamous radio show that was just as big as funny as Howard Stern was back in the day. This girl is listening to the broadcast, and must have whatevwr program they are using (cant rememeber its name, Instant Feedback, or something?) to connect to the show. Obviously she is very messed up on drugs, which isn't a surprise for an Opie and Anthont listener lol.
Frenchie was actually a semi frequent caller to the Ron and Fez Show (the voice you hear is Ron Bennington), if memory serves they and Opie and Anthony shared a paltalk room in those 2006-2008 days (hence why OnA were in the title). I think the title may be just some mean spirited humor that was popular around that time. Edit: The Opie and Anthony "Frenchy" was just some guy doing a really cheesy french accent. completely different from the female Frenchie in the video Edit 2: R.I.P. Fezzie
The hamster wheel thing kind of fits the bill for how fucking weird PSA's can be. Most weird or surreal PSA's air on kids channels, the regulations or whatever weren't as fucking boring as it is today. Why does everyone forget about PSA's man.
For the Nickelodeon hijacking, I feel like it could've been a broadcast mixup. There was one time where Cartoon Network's broadcast signal got mixed up with TCM's. Maybe the same thing happened where Nickelodeon's signal got mixed up with Showtime's or something.
The second one is strange but probably has a logical explanation. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the lady-to me it just looks like she’s nodding off at her computer. I’ve done the same, and I’ve never been on drugs or drank alcohol or anything. The concept that someone who’s nodding off MUST be on drugs or something is a little weird to me. First story sounds like some teens playing a prank with some skeleton props. I’m surprised at how many people insist it MUST be fake-sure, it could be, but the reasons people are giving for its being fake are kinda nonsense. Last one is one I’ve heard a few times before and I’m curious about what it could be, if it’s real. Interesting vid! Always enjoy your stuff.
When you search up more about weird images' origins, can you find the origins of the infamous picture of Osama Bin laden in an anime girl themed bedroom and the infamous neckbeard weeb dungeoun with anime posters?
for the skeletons one, i think op was dreaming. they said they had been asleep prior so its possible they couldve had this dream during that time. the whole thing is so odd and surreal. seems like a dream.
Throwing rocks to some human waving skeletons (instead of... don't know... just walking away while, if possible, video recording it...?) is probably the most epic smalltown badass reaction ever known...🤣 Cheers!
my theory on the first one with the skeletons, what if it was just some malnourished people and some misremembering? I mean they did mention they lived in a poor area cause bones do stick out more when a person is malnourished would also explain why they were moving and one had clothes on
6:04 Yeah I'd argue its really easy to come up with something like this. In fact I have a similar memory that I know for a fact I imagined because I was bored. When I was about 8 or 9 we moved to a house that was right across the street from an active train track. It was an MTA track so the train horn was constant. Well, before I got used to it it would keep me awake. I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD and insomnia yet so my family just assumed I hated bedtime and eventually I'd get bored and fall asleep. So to pass the time and get used to the train horn I used to imagine there were little goblins riding on top. Like a gang of devious little goblins and they only came out at night. I told myself if I didn't fall asleep that those goblins would get me. Then when that freaked me out I told myself that actually the goblins were cool. They were only nice to me and mean to my bullies. I have no fucking clue how I came up with goblins of all things. Anyways I know the skeleton story is probably fake but I think its more fun to imagine its real. But if I had to choose an explanation I think it was either a vivid dream or it was some damn near skeletal crackheads. The latter seems likely in a poor area around some abandoned trains, unfortunately.
Most people who see cryptids don't try to run up and grab them though. They run home and call the police usually. Or they go home and try and forget what they saw because there is no way to explain it to anyone.
I love watching these kinds of lost media videos while doing something off to the side and your videos have a 2000s feel to them, which is amazing. This is my new favourite channel
I'm not saying the first story is 100% fake, but this basically sounds like an advanced and extended version of the "and then a skeleton popped out" meme. Like the whole things feels as if someone took this joke and tried to make it sound actually scary. And that supposed nickelodeon hijack reminds me a lot of those "deep" animated shorts that used to be everywhere years ago, which always ended up being a variation of "what if humans swapped places with their pets", "phone bad" or worse, both at the same time. Honestly this kinda sounds like a clockman or crackmaster situation, as in the short OP saw is real but their retelling of it from memory is creepier than the actual thing.
13:15 a person was probably recorded her live stream of her in the waiting room and had the opine and anthony show in the background because they were watching it and the “oops” when the screen fades is then moving the display properly
I have a weird memory. When I was a kid, my parents took me to a trip somewhere. And I remember seeing a weird, nearly lost place vibe structure in the woods. We drove past it, it was in the mountains and looked like a tunnel entrance but I remember being unable to find any clear way to get there. No obvioud roads, no rails or trails. It looked like a large tunnel entrance, sqaure concrete pillars. To this day I tried locating the structure using different methods and have failed. Still this one memory keeps fascinating me. Maybe one day I will find out wth it really was.
Honestly I believe the skeleton story really was just some pranksters in costumes and the young girls in their child like mind kind of interpreted the situation as scarier than it really was or at the very least it was something like someone being silly with Halloween props blowing in the wind or possibly being puppeteered from underneath / inside the train car using some sort of thin clear plastic stick or something like that that would be difficult to see against the bright daytime sky
The first story presented reminds me of a scene I remembered when I was around 6 or 7. One of the earliest memories in my head. It was around the time I attended pre-school. I woke up one morning at home and looked outside, it was an early morning like around 7-9 am. I saw the garbage truck outside, our garbage were being collected by the garbage men and then they were about to leave. I saw Spiderman hanging upside down on the top of the garbage truck, like he was hanging by his hands and feet, I saw him move too. I always thought about this memory, it felt so real. I was always sure this felt real but I don’t know if it was a dream or not. I always told the other kids or my family about it and they didn’t believe it of course. I have the exact memory in my head, I can’t describe it the best with words but I know how it went. I still am like 90% I was fully awake, I wouldn’t be surprised if I was dreaming or hallucinating but it felt so so real.
imagine being a group of skeletons just hanging out and an entire family comes out just to throw rocks at you 😭
Yeah even if that first story was real (which I doubt tbh) the family just kinda did it for no reason.
Ikr... we were just chilling and these uninvited guests just ruined it for us smh...
Man, they were chill, why would they do that😭😭😭
They had a bone to pick with them ofc

The skeleton story sounds like a dream to me. Everything is so illogical: random person claims they are dangerous, but they seem friendly, then family throws rocks at them, and then everyone just moves on? Since they were a kid at the time, it makes sense that they would think it really happened. Its also possible that their family might have false memories about it if op told them about the dream before. (This is assuming its not completely made up, of course)
Yeah sometimes I've had dreams and filled in the blanks similar to how they did.
The mom said she remembered the skeletons@@GermanPeter

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

absolutely agreed they fit the vibe perfectly

Maybe the OP in the skeletons story had a false awakening. It's when you dream about waking up, sort of. Notice how they were sleeping before the event took place. OP "woke up" and saw the skeletons because dreams are weird. The girl being in there is also normal as she's the last person OP interacted with before falling asleep. Perhaps the dream affected OP so much that they forgot it was a dream?
But the mom remembers also seeing them tho.. At this point op was just messing with us with such an unbielevable story

The hamster wheel thing really sounds like a Adult Swim short
That's what I was thinking. When I was little, my aunt had one of those dish subscriptions and an issue we had was that it would put on adult swim instead of cartoon channels, even if you clicked a cartoon channel. This happened to me a few times, and I remember being spooked by an AS bumper showing puppets of the "7 ate 9" joke, and thinking my brain made it up until I saw it in an AS bumper compilation.
Reminds me slightly like a Cyriak animation
@@tsuakiyama9996Adult Swim IS on the Cartoon Network channel… just late at night.

tbh the OP of the first story adamantly claiming they couldnt be props because it was the 90s just doesn't make sense to me, so what?
Automata have existed since the 1600s. Seriously people are so uninformed about tech from the past 🤦🏻♀️
For the skeleton story, I think the person really had this memory, but lied about the other people remembering too, to make it more believable. And what that really was, was something not so weird, but childhood imagination made it more colorful.
The second one I don't know, but it kind of feels like something made to freak people out.

The first one was actually the first mystery that actually had me questioning

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Ooooooooo spooky skeletons
honestly it reminded me of the story of the flatwoods monster
Spooky scary skeletons send shivers down my spine lol.
true
Yeah that's a really good summary 👍 I was also wondering if it had something to do with one of those early and weird chat rooms of yesteryear, I can see how ir could come across as weird for today's standards

for the skeleton story, as a kid me and my sister both thought we saw a tiny, small, little witch flying by the moon one night when we were kids at our grandmas house, we looked up at it and we stared in awe, but then like nearly 12 years later, it turns out the entire time it was one of my aunts testing out a witch puppet she had for halloween, as crazy as puppets might seem, i feel like at least personally they arent out of the realm
12 years later?!

Assuming all the details of the original story are correct, the answer would be necromancy; so something with the OP's perception must have been off
Commercials don't play during SpongeBob btw^
SpongeBob has 11 minute episodes, if it just started back up it would have to be either a special or a movie, which would be a bit more rare
His catch phrase (or often played sound clip) was "I drink beer 'till I pass out!"
As for the web video window; the radio station Ron & Fez were on had a video chat room where fans could log in and watch other fans and the inside of the studio as the hosts did their show.
This was my first thought, too!

Can you describe the metal play stucture in detail? Im curious

@@furnugoA poorly placed satellite could also be a plausible explaination, yes
According to that video, the Russian film was "Ivan's Childhood." I've seen it a couple of times and there are definitely no human hamster wheels in it!
That first story reminds me of the time I was a kid living on a cul de sac with the other kids on the street.
Outside my house in the front yard was a stick just floating in the air. We could all wrap our hand around it and there was no string/spider webs.
Then I poked it and it fell. It’s so weird and bothers me to this day. The other kids still remember it too.
Sure thing, buddy
kinda reminds me of something weird I saw as a kid when i was at school. i saw this weird, small, pitch black blotch in the sky, just floating there, completely frozen and motionless.
Ghost.
reminds me of this time when i was in middle school, my class was outside walking laps during pe and i was zoning out looking at the sky, listening to music.

Strategy
His fast move speed can boost forward mini tanks like an Ice Golem in a push.
A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted
A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie, typically referred to as the Trifecta.

@@MisfitMods Saying it wasn't decorations because "technology wasn't there yet" isn't really a strong argument to completely rule it out.
Edit: The Opie and Anthony "Frenchy" was just some guy doing a really cheesy french accent.
completely different from the female Frenchie in the video

it's so funny that they just threw rocks at the skeletons hahaha
For the Nickelodeon hijacking, I feel like it could've been a broadcast mixup. There was one time where Cartoon Network's broadcast signal got mixed up with TCM's. Maybe the same thing happened where Nickelodeon's signal got mixed up with Showtime's or something.
The hamster wheel story reminds me of a David Firth film, or maybe a AS short, or maybe even wonder Showzen.
I get so immersed when I watch your videos, the visuals, the music and your relaxing voice and clear explanations it’s just so perfect ‼️
Throwing rocks to some human waving skeletons (instead of... don't know... just walking away while, if possible, video recording it...?) is probably the most epic smalltown badass reaction ever known...🤣
Cheers!
Just found this channel it’s instantly my favorite now😭😭 keep up the good work it’s really entertaining
the “Oops” at 13:05 could be some sort of offline page. so if this is a real live feed it could mean it got interrupted or manually cut off
Wake up babe, new shaiivalley video dropped.
i just love the pictures you put in and your editing style, so nostalgic (and creepy!).
Shared Hallucinations isn’t a new thing, it’s called mass hysteria and the hallucinations can be pretty similar
The second video is just someone nodding out on opiates. It’s really sad honestly.
my theory on the first one with the skeletons, what if it was just some malnourished people and some misremembering? I mean they did mention they lived in a poor area cause bones do stick out more when a person is malnourished would also explain why they were moving and one had clothes on
all i hear in my head is Matt Rose saying "SKULL EMOJI 💀"
LOL
LMAOOOO
omigod i love him
your production and editing style are so immensely improved and unique as of late!
How could you see something like free moving skeletons and just say oh well and go home.
Most people who see cryptids don't try to run up and grab them though. They run home and call the police usually. Or they go home and try and forget what they saw because there is no way to explain it to anyone.
It’s the internet. Do you really think people go on the internet and just lie?
As opposed to doing… what? To me, just going home feels like the more realistic response.
@@RobotacularRoBobyes?
@@BabyCharmanderbut wouldn't you call the police?
Why throwing rocks at something you don't know can do to you?
Friendly skeletons waving isn’t exactly scary lol
Maybe one day I will find out wth it really was.
sounds oddly like the beginning of spirited away
That's a fake memory, u know. I also had that too
You see these skeletons waving at you and your first instinct is to throw rocks??
hi shaiivalley tysm for posting today! banger video
$350 per month, rent, for a family home!? Come on guys, I can only suspend disbelief so far.
It didn't have plumbing, I can believe it lol
Honestly I believe the skeleton story really was just some pranksters in costumes and the young girls in their child like mind kind of interpreted the situation as scarier than it really was or at the very least it was something like someone being silly with Halloween props blowing in the wind or possibly being puppeteered from underneath / inside the train car using some sort of thin clear plastic stick or something like that that would be difficult to see against the bright daytime sky
I’m guessing the Skeletons were just people in convincing costumes.
My theory on that strange RUclips video.
It’s Billy Butcher. He is real and among us right now.
Among us hugie starlight
While watching this video I got an ad for the Star Wars show Skeleton crew 😂
What’s the song in the intro 😭😭
That first story was just sans undertale and some friends, they’re just chillin
