  • I didn't know what the job was until I arrived onsite.
As you can see from the video I used petrol/gasoline as a solvent to soften and breakdown the glue that was left on the speaker chassis.
    BE CAREFUL WHEN USING SOLVENTS
Wear protective gear, read the safety instructions and
Don't smoke anywhere near where you're working
I have had good results using
Evo Stick Adhesive Cleaner in the past
    Petrol seemed to work OK
    Here's a link to the Evo-Stick product
I am in no way sponsored by Evo Stick
    Thanks for watching
    Bye

Brilliant video. Love a bit of funky funktion one. The best system I ever heard was at a festival in Amsterdam. Massive res5 hung system with about 12x f218. Sounded like a big hifi. The next year they replaced it with the more modern funktion one and it wasn't anywhere near as nice sounding or enjoyable.

12x f218 a side so 24 subs total. Bass kick 40/50ft back was life changing.

@@thecandleman5129 I always found it really easy to mix on. Really fast attack on the bass, great vocal sound and, it sparkles, RES4/5's are GREAT. Everyone jumped on line arrays to quickly IMHO

@@zambotv8150 I think this is mainly because line arrays are much easyer to transport and set up

Once you get into these big quality tools (speakers), it's more the skill of the operator then the equipment that determines the final outcome. I would say the lack of experience with the newer rig is the reason for the lack of results.

@@wally7856 newer rigs/speakers have way more processing as well so their is more to get used to or even more to get wrong.
