How are the physics in this game?

Physics are unfortunately pretty hit or miss, It largely depends on what locomotive you're using and which developer it's from. Anything from Searchlight Simulations or RR Mods will be about the best you can get physics wise. A lot of the Loco's from DTG (the developers of TSC) unfortunately tend to be pretty bad with physics. They either take off like a rocket even while under load or have non existent brakes.
If you're solely interested in realism I'd look into Run 8. It's about the closest thing to operating a real train you can get

@@CroconatorYT yes Run 8 ive been using for 2 years now! Just sometimes wish we could get an up to date graphics engine! Just thought I’d ask? That’s what keeps me coming back to Run 8 is servers like the depot plus! As close to the real thing as it gets! It’s really sad how dovetail games has made TrainSim in the past! It’s like they don’t know what they are modeling or they just don’t care! I’m talking the US stuff that is

@@drewharman1690 Dovetail has just unfortunately gotten lazy over the years, You see it with a lot of the routes they put out. The older ones like Stevens and Marias are amazing and hold up pretty well to this day. The newer ones however, like Tehachapi leave a lot to be desired
