Get consistently better framerates using the Caffeine suite (Sodium, Lithium) in conjunction with Starlight instead of Phosphor from that suite along with Iris with Sildur's Vibrant Shaders Extreme over here. Consider using Rivatuner Statistics Server or similar (included with MSI Afterburner) to record benchmarks in any game. You can get spreadsheets with full details on CPU usage, GPU usage, frametimes, average FPS, 1% lows, .01% lows, etc. This way you can say "After a minute of running the benchmark, here's the average framerate and the 1% lows, and I'm showing a CPU Bottleneck using one mod over the other" or whatever you may find, vs "I'm getting about 175 FPS average." Gives a bit more insight into what the game is doing. I know in the broad strokes the ballpark figures are enough but more detail is always useful to consider.
hi :) I did use that in my previous videos, for example - ruclips.net/video/J76jUKw5FQc/видео.html however people were doubting the use of 3rd party apps, so i have since then just kept it simple and gone with fps mods instead... it seems with these fps comparison vids I cant please everyone but yes what you said is true about the fps and lows ;)
What I found out is that on sodium there is only a small fps drop on a higher render distance. So for low render distance use optifine and for high use sodium :)
For me, it's a similar result. On sodium/iris and lithium to increase the performance alongside them, I was getting 60 fps but it would dip down to 25-30 sometimes especially when loading chunks. But after using optifine/optifabric and tweaking video settings outside of shader settings (there's way more than on iris to tweak) and setting graphics to fast (which looks exactly the same as fancy) and turning clouds off (which makes no difference if using the custom sky in complementary) and also turning on fast math, I get 60 fps and it sometimes dips to the 50s but never below the 40s and the fps is more consistent. The game looks exactly the same with both of my configurations. Using both with fabric on 1.19
Bro pls help i have a core i5 3rd or 5th generation and intel graphics 2000 and even with sodium and phosphor and lithium and iris and dozen of other mods i have only been able to get 20-25 fps pls help to get at least 50 fps what should i do
I have same test, old 980TI, but my optifine is forge and my sodium using Quilt. Perform quite similiar performance for both set up but Quilt load faster in loading the game and world. But texture pack look better on optifine coz of the CEM is not working well on Quilt yet. Thx for the video.

Early today. Nice video ;)
Hey thanks so much!! :)
Congratulations for the 6k sub!
Hey thanks so much!! :)
Hey! Im your new subscriber watch your videos a lot now so i decided to subscibe!
Hey thanks so much!! :) will make more vids like this soon
You are getting good! Way to go!
Thanks so much!
@@gamerpotion I hope good future for you if you are in to this stuff! (Btw i changed my username)
Hey :) oh what was your username before??
The disadvantage of Sodium is that the glass blocks do not become one window & i dont get better texture packs to wotk with it ... ?
For me optifabric is better
W
I have a laptop and sodium gets worse do’s than vanilla in spawns of servers but optifine runs perfect u stay in 170fps to 200 range
Ik newer hardware is better for optfine
Cuz i didn't see difference optifine and sodium with my i5 12600k, 16 gig and uhd 770 (temporary)
Bro can u add a skin mod for fabric that is able to see for other players
Your videos are really cool. Can you maybe make a comparison between Optifine and iris sodium with the seus ptgi 2.1 shader?
Hey :) sure I can take a look into this next
@@gamerpotion Thanks, that would help me a lot!

Hey :) yeah sodium runs well for me on my system too
What do you consider "higher render distance"?
@@Tomflips1 8 chunks for me XD
@@efeloteishe4675 prob 32 chnks for me XD LOL GET GUD
@@cyanproduct get gud at what exactly?
Great comparison again, as always!
Hey thanks so much! :)
When i open Minecraft, it tells me that there is problem with uploading optifine. What should I do?
Optifine works with Fabric+Sodium+Iris? A lot of stuff requires Optifine and that sucks for me.
nah
I’m the 7th view, 3rd comment, 3rd like.
Thank you for doing this video! I am excited to see what is better (I haven’t watched it yet)

load chunks please, do all tests
Hmm Unique idea
Hey thanks :) hope you enjoyed this one
@@gamerpotion Yeah But am too busy now a days for my school pressure
Bro my PC fps 1527 with bsl ultra e
Me when I play minecraft with the worst graphics: LETS GOO 50 FPS! Me when I play minecraft with bsl shader: OMG!! 2 FPS
sadly alot of resource packs do not work for sodium

I'm your first view.
Hey :) that was super quick :) hope you liked the vid
@@gamerpotion yes it was very helpful
Is there a way how to use iris shaders with optifabric??
Hey :) sorry you cant use iris with optifabric, you have to use one only
Oh, ok thank you
Thanks

Try optifine
And Lower your settings
And set your ram amount for that one Modpack higher

Hey thanks :) yeah some things arent running too well on quilt right now, maybe in a few weeks/months
