I am doing this project for a second time! I did it 5 years ago and it was challenging. It’s even more challenging now with being 5 years older and not as good of eyesight. Lol I was glad to hear you talk through your backstitching process. I’m doing longer stretches if the backstitching you’re doing here. I did shorter ones before which takes more time. I also can relate to the frustration in working on a challenging piece, I’ve had to take out a lot this time around. Definitely can’t be in a hurry on this.
It’s beautiful. My first backstitch project was of an old sail boat and it had ALOT of back stitching. I was so scared it wouldn’t turn out well but to my amazement it looks good. That was sooo long ago. Yours will too!, ❤️❤️

I really love doing backstitching on patterns. I think it makes the pieces look more detailed. I understand the struggle but still like it 😂

Thank you Carolyn. Patience is the key isn't it. I do like the point where you can stand back and admire it. 🙂
I have that chart too in my stash. Watching to see how you get along with it. I love anything Victorian. Are you still working on this chart?
Hi ! Its a beautiful chart you will enjoy it.
Not in my current rotation but definitely will finish it at some point.
