Good morning Natasha,Tarpon Springs here I am getting ready for the hurricane last preparation Stay safe. I wish you the best and your family. Hopefully we will see you in new video soon.❤❤❤❤❤
I'm right there with you, I'm born and raised in the Florida Keys and moved to swf at the age of 12, (I'm 53 yrs now) Naples . We don't run, we buckle up and ride it out. Good luck to you and look forward to watching your updates. 🌿 ♥️
I'm watching this on Friday, Oct. 11th, 2024. We had a doozy of tornadoes west of us in Wellington, FL. My families and our homes are all safe. Born 1960 and raised in Miami; I've been through every hurricane and we pay attention and take precautions and warnings seriously. All of your viewers support you and your decisions. We look forward to your upcoming video as you care for your children, fur babies and orchids post hurricane. Take time for yourself. I will be putting my plants back in their places. We all know that pre/post actions are exhausting. I wish you well. Respectfully,
I continue to pray for you and all those who are in the path of Milton. I admire your positivity and strength. Take care of yourself and your family. 🥰
Wishing you and family the best and my prayers are for all of us in Florida. I brought all my orchids in side 2 days doing that but I really want them to be with me at this time 🥹
Good GIRL! Hubby says that 13' above sea level is good. You are doing the right thing staying at home and riding it out. May all of you and your castle be fine. Nice that you were able to get the shutters up. They do help to protect your property. If it helps any....we are expecting high winds here in n.e. Broward. We've not put up the shutters, but we have walked the yard to make sure that there isn't anything that can become airborn and cause damage. All of the orchids are in the lanai and won't come indoors. Loved seeing your garden. You have such beautiful orchids. Yes, our gardens teach us many things.....especially the concept of "impermanence" (life goes on). Thanks for sharing these video moments. It was great to be able to forget about the weather for a while. Hello to the Superstar.
Your actions matter more than prayers. Otherwise there would be no hurricanes at all ever. Good luck with that. I witnesses superstorm Sandy. I was lucky, like most, but many were not. I hope your lanai will be intact, maybe just a spray of rainwater. Your musings and your voice are so nice and soothing. It would be good to know your story.
Praying this weakens and goes by quick and yes I would agree as sometimes people spread the panic and manic state which helps no one and yes they need a shot of cognac hahahahhaa! Also I see you Rio Negro and it looks amazing!! Put her inside as she's gonna bloom beautifully!! She's a survivor in the storm haha! Hoping the best for everyone and this thing just goes away!!
As a native east coaster who lived through lots of hurricanes, the idea of “evacuating” is so foreign to me that I was briefly confused about the suggestion. Whether we live or die, we’re doing in our own house. I imagine that those making that suggestion are not from a hurricane zone. We prepare the best we can, make fortifications, and hunker down. Sending good vibes and strength!
Hi Natalia, Bravo to you for putting up storm shutters by yourself. Your Phalaenopsis orchids are looking amazing. Prayers going up for you and your family to be safe during Milton’s visit to Florida. Have a good week.
I think it might depend where in Florida you live. Apparently Miami will be fine and just experience a breezy day but in Tampa it will be the worst storm in 100 years. So depending which is closer you will have different feelings. It's hard to say if it will be worse than Helene yet. Some houses will get washed away, some will get flooded, power will most likely go out temporarily. One of my worries would be all the orchids getting blown away. I don't think I'd be leaving either. Even if it were the wrong decision.

Hey, how are you doing? How’s the family? Hope everybody’s doing well.👍👍❤️❤️
The surge is supposed to be 12 to 13 feet. You may be underestimating this, but that is your choice, I hope you make it through OK.
I'm glad you are not in direct hit of the harricane. What about Nelson and Blanco?
They are further south. Should be OK. I hope so
