Long hair Beomgyu and short hair Beomgyu are not the same Beomgyu. It's a multiverse thing. Long hair Beomgyu is from The Star Seekers storyline. His true name is HOPE and his powers are healing. In the storyline...it's sad AF but he's a version of Beomgyu that failed to save his friends in his timeline. He's also a version of Beomgy that essentially sacrifices himself to save all of them in the "current" timeline.

@@giogremoryno no Viken is his character’s name in TSS. There is no Beomgyu in TSS. But in the TXT storyline Beomgyu/Viken’s true name is HOPE

love "deja vu," i feel like the vocal processing on this track is more raw sounding than their other comebacks. i almost didn't even recognize beomgyu's part on the first verse because of it. ofc i love heavy processing but i also love change. between this and "the killa," this is a solid album✨
I think the vocals are mostly rawer but not Beomgyu during those lines. Those have been likely mixed with Soobin's, and that's why it sounds different at first. Yes, we're used to over-processed vocals in txt tracks and very layered-breathy vocals for Gyu, he sounds more focused here, but the way he supports the notes does not really sound 100% like him. As in, not like his normal singing you would hear live.
This type of emotional trap pop is my absolute s***.
I also like how confident it feels. Imo this is not a song txt would have released as a title track even a year ago so between chasing that feeling and this I feel like they've entered that bag that k-pop artists do once they hit that 4/ 5-year mark where their audience is solidified, they know they'll hit their numbers and so they don't care if a song is super GP pleaseing and I feel like this is where we get some of the best music.
this is so well said... i'm so happy txt has reached this point in their careers. this song and mv really prove what suits them best as a group imo, the powerful but bittersweet concepts that have a sense of longing, nostalgia, etc. obviously they're super well rounded and can handle anything, but i hope they can continue to play to their musical strengths like this

The girl is beomgyu, txt's lore is beomgyu's harem 🤣🤣 joke aside, in the MV the members are chasing beomgyu (glittery being) except beomgyu himself. He is the healer, he healed the members pain and transfered it to himself thats why his body is full of bandages. In other dimension, Beomgyu choose to sacrifice himself by sleeping forever so the world can be saved. Notice beomgyu's hair is long and he is asleep inside the bus. To wake him they must remember each others name, which all of them forget until now. The first to wake up is yeonjun (loser lover, 0x1 = lovesong), then taehyun, and huening kai. Soobin still can't remember so he can't wake up. But all of them are in different time, so for the members to be able to meet each other it has to be mutuals. In the end, yeonjun remembers beomgyu's name and beomgyu's remember yeonjun's name too, thats why they can met and beomgyu can save yeonjun who is abt to d word.
You can say, all of the members are trying to save yeonjun who d word in the first world/dimension, obviously they failed. Either yeonjun still d** or other member d**. So they keep turning back time (the magic circle in runaway) until they lost themself inside the loop (forgeting each other names, and adventures). To make it worse, the cat took advantage and disguised herself as beomgyu and make the other members confused (concert VCR where the shadows of girl of eternity turns into black monster) obviously the girl (boy) of eternity is beomgyu in long hair which the cat mistaken as a girl. Maybe thats why taehyun and beomgyu has conflict in can't you see me. Since taehyun's name is clue. Maybe, taehyun despite still not able to remember much he still find some clue. This is also the reason why he is the second member to wake up after yeonjun. Also, beomgyu's name is hope. He is txt's hope, anchor. So the cat choose him.
