@@alanmichaelrivera5660 Dude, totally agree!! Married 22 years to a lovely woman. Kevin, absolutely right. 68, lifting heavy daily and disciplined eating maintains considerable muscle even at this age. 20 proper pull ups, 25 dips, lots of deadlifts makes all the clothes fit well. My wife of 42 years likes it too. Keep it going.

@the-stoic-insights-1 I suppose that's one way to look at it. I'm not sure if our first encounter lasted 18 minutes or not but 2 incredible children, 5 wonderful grandchildren, and 4 terrific great grandchildren certainly made it worthwhile to me.
as a man, my general philosophy is to dress for you. there will always be some women that like it and don't like it. you can't please everyone so please yourself first
That’s a solid philosophy, Christian. Dressing for yourself and feeling good in your skin is the key. When you’re confident, it naturally draws people in!
Only if you know HOW to dress Because let's face it l, we are dressing for everyone else but ourselves. Example, who won't prefer a pair of warm socks in slippers to lazy around on the lazy off day?
20 years in the Army my uniform was always impeccable but I didn't learn anything about dressing well in civilian clothes. I was also afraid to wear anything outside of mostly blacks, greys, and otherwise dull colors. It wasn't until years after retirement I started watching content like this and I started going out of my comfort zone and wearing bolder colors and investing in great fragrances. The effect was immediate, and started getting compliments at work and by strangers on the street - both men and women. It doesn't cost a lot to look and smell good if you invest in the right items. I get stuff from thrift stores all the time and have them tailored as necessary for proper fit. However, my favorite line of shirts are the Visconti Black line at Dillard's, and my fav fragrances from Tom Ford, specifically Hombre Leather, Fucking Fabulous, and Black Orchid. Yes, they are bit more expensive but absolutely worth it and you WILL get compliments!! My job allows me to wear a suit every once in a while, which I love. I just wish I could wear them more. For ties, I've fallen in love with the Jerry Garcia line of ties which are absolutely gorgeous and now I collect them. My father recently died and I brought home several of his beautiful suits he used to wear many years ago as a businessman. They all fit me almost perfectly with only a few minor adjustments that need to be made. I just need to come up with excuses to wear them!
Wow, what an inspiring journey! It’s amazing how stepping out of your comfort zone and investing in the right pieces can make such a difference. Fragrance and fit definitely go a long way. And those Tom Ford scents are absolute winners! It's awesome that you're continuing your father's legacy with those suits and ties-treasures with a story. Keep rocking your style!
Thank you for your perspective! Fashion is subjective, and different styles resonate with different people. It’s all about feeling comfortable in your own skin and making choices that reflect your personality, even if they’re unconventional.
Wiping your ass is a good place to start. Having streak marks on your underwear can be a big turnoff that goes for men and woman you know who you are. From my experience I’ve noticed people with bad hygiene or just smell bad are the ones that wear the most fragrance.
A few months ago I watched a marketing video for photographers that said to get high-end clients you need to look the part. A few days later I was sitting on a corner waiting for the sun to move and elements to come together for a photo I wanted to take. Three people offered to buy me breakfast, and one wanted to give me a $20 bill. Later, I remembered the video and decided I need to improve my look.
I really appreciate your story! It’s interesting how a change in appearance can shift how others perceive us. Dressing well not only influences how we’re seen but also how we feel about ourselves. Thanks for the insight!
Hey people willing to give you money ,breakfast, what ever why not just take the offer , , dress up when going out special occasion , I had the same people give me money what ever , , Thinking I'm poor , , but not knowing I'm wearing a an expensive Kathmandu jacket , I say I dont need it but hey must be my bag 😂😂😂 , I can wear raggedy clothes and still get female chatting , It does help when you have the look , and I'm those people natural , handsome , Not only I'm related to the corrupt riches family brittish ,but the most powerful tribe AOTEAROA , I dress when I'm going special occasion , Female should like you for who you are and can make changes in future , smile ,personality , 😊
@@Philly-lq6zr It sounds like you’ve mastered balancing style and authenticity-rocking a Kathmandu jacket while keeping it real with a natural, confident vibe! How do you decide what to wear for those special occasions? Any go-to outfit ideas?
When trying to dress in style for a man, it’s best to choose the Classics. Usually the thing that changes mostly in men’s suits are the lapels and the bagginess or not baggy pants. But using a classic white shirt and a selected tie and belt and shoes you can’t go wrong wrong.
Okay, here we go! At 75 years of age, a bit thicker in the middle, wearing compression socks, using a walker, and fighting various aspects of disabilities, I took a peek at this topic anyway! I decided some time ago, that comfort was critical in forming my overall approach toward women and many other worldly cares. I'm not a worrier, and since I am no longer employed or looking, it's easy to say "To hell with that," and go about my business. Now here's the kicker; since I love women in general, I've been most concerned with approach, communication, and feeling of sexuality overall. Whether it's unsaid or not, I have "crossed over". you might say, into that fuzzy grey zone that society generally associates with "being washed up and unconsidered" for most things. Rather than feeling up against the wall, I feel comfortable with a kinda "screw you, I'm up for it anyway" attitude. Regarding women, I believe in treating each with respect, dignity, loving understanding, and total honesty, whether I risk being banned to the friend zone or not. I will usually be further ahead than whether or not I wear socks with sandals or misplace the ballcap on my head! OK, so sue me! Yes, I feel it's important to dress nicely for the circumstances, but don't lose either the money or sleep over it! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your opinion! I totally get how a baseball cap can feel casual, but it's all about balance. When styled right, it can give a laid-back yet polished look. It really depends on how the rest of the outfit comes together. What other accessories or styles do you think would maintain that sophisticated edge?
The hat backwards look and tribal tattoos on older dudes is a very douchebag look. Skinny jeans, anime or cartoons or superhero T-shirts on any man are really cringey. I’m seeing a lot more of this these days.
I hear you, Jeffrey. Trends can be hit or miss, especially as we get older. What's your go-to look that never fails to impress? Wishing you a great day!
Seriously though I love to rock a through back t-shirt on the weekends. Fun for me and people like a fond memory. The kicker is don't be a rock snob or a cinema snod that's douchey
I'm currently stranded in a "city"...more like a small town..where the uniform for practically everybody, both sexes, all ages..hoodies,baseball caps and, since the weather is getting cooler, things made out of flannel. It's a clothing nightmare.
Such a great reminder that style evolves with us! The advice to embrace vibrant colors and ditch the overly neutral wardrobe as we age is so refreshing. Anyone else inspired to add some bold pieces to their closet?
Thanks for commenting! Baseball caps really are an iconic part of casual fashion. Do you think they should only be worn casually, or could they work in more formal settings too with the right style? Would love to hear your thoughts on that! Have a great day ahead!
@@Rugia-ox7hx Thanks for sharing your thoughts! However, baseball caps aren’t just for the field-they have plenty of advantages in everyday fashion. They’re practical for sun protection and versatile enough to pair with a range of styles, from sporty and casual to streetwear. Don’t you think the flexibility of a piece that works in multiple settings is a great advantage?
Agree in everything but baseball hats. Unless worn out in the sun for protection, baseball hats are the opposite of elegance, never mind sophistication. That old model shown in the video with the cap back, looks comical, rather ridiculous.
I wear a baseball cap sometimes, but it is not nor will it be a stylish look. I have a great head of hair and if I wear one it's because I just simply didn't want to spend the time styling it. With a T-shirt, jeans and stylish sneakers works. Once you introduce a b.d. shirt, sweater, blazer, chinos... No way.
What other people think of me is none of my business ... Never judge a book by its cover ...these tips attract the people i avoid ..and that attitude has made me fairly succesful in life ...🎉
Real Masculine attraction is about the inner light that I am blasting in all direction. I am a Blazing Sun. Irresistible to women. I outshine whatever I am wearing. Who cares?
Confidence is definitely a key factor in attraction! And while inner light shines brightly, sometimes the way we present ourselves on the outside can enhance that inner glow. Why not do both-shine inside and out?
@@the-stoic-insights-1 Because I don't think I need improvement. I underdress intentionally to filter out unwanted attention from boring chicks. Saves me time. A sigma female will see me anyhow.

Loro Piana cashmere turtle neck sweaters, John Lobb monk strap shoes, Aquascutum Mack, Charvet or Tom Form silk ties, Thomas Pink Bespoke dress shirts, Gucci sport- spring and summer, Creed Royal Oud - fall and winter. Dunhill glasses, Rayban sunglasses. Panerai chronograph watch. Lacoste polos, sperry topsider shoes, landsend chino shorts. Burberry navy peacoat, Classic Barbour wax coat, Dunhill houndstooth walking cap. Gieves and Hawkes suits. Classic Brookes Brothers navy double breasted blazer. Just some of my favorite things.
Absolutely love the point about fit! It’s amazing how well-fitted clothes can instantly boost confidence and completely transform how others perceive you. Definitely taking notes-what’s everyone’s favorite go-to style tip from this video?
My favorite and formal scent is Armani Prive' Rose D'arabie. Best worn in the cooler months. A great timeless fragrance for the mature man' is Dior Eau Sauvage (parfum version) Amouage Reflection Man would be a great fragrance for a date . . . any time of the year. You're welcome . . .
@@the-stoic-insights-1 Many thanks ! As a Chauffeur, it was in my best interest to study and learn about fragrance, and how it would fit in with my work, as well as on a personal level. After watching many reviews, and understanding the needs for different events, season and gender, I created a fragrance wardrobe that ticks all the right boxes. With well over 200 bottles on hand, I'm never in need of an appropriate choice for what ever comes my way.
Another fantastic fragrance choice in the amouage. That's my favorite from that house but don't miss the rest! And if you like those, then Argos is not to be missed.
Great video! If I may I add the ff: 1) Shorter men should avoid shoes that has a round tip, it will make you look fatter and shorter. 2) Older man wearing a Bow tie instead of a tie is also an option, it will actually turn many heads around 4) Never mix brown & purple colours 5) I agree to invest in good shoes. Proper storage with wooden shoe insert is essential to keep it in good condition. Cheers from a 60 yr. Old!
Thanks for sharing such great style tips! You’re absolutely right about the shoe shape and color coordination. It's always amazing to learn new style insights from others! Do you have any personal experiences with experimenting with these fashion rules?
I would say being fit is rule# 1. If your body looks good, clothes look that much better. 2. Up your shoe game: white leather sneakers (adidas), black dress shoes, brown lace-up boots. 3. Button down shirts. (Charles Tyrwitt has quality materials at good prices). 4. Go to a hair stylist if you can. 5. Smell good. (Anything by Prada, YSL, Hermes is good)
Thanks for leaving a comment! That's a solid list of style tips. Which one do you think gives the most immediate impact in improving someone's appearance? Have a great day!
Thanks for the humor! While a scraggly beard and a backwards cap may catch some attention, I think finding a balance that works for your age and style can create a more lasting impression. Confidence is key, but so is knowing what suits you best!
If your frail skinny or obese on your 60s or more anything simple style clothes with white, black, gray, dark blue color is better anyway if your old why bother looking for men or women it's the time you enjoy your freedom, money, enjoyment and time. Loving another person will only bring problems rather than happiness.
I prefer natural fabrics, always go for a silk tie, Lyle and Scott for polo shirts. you forgot to mention overcoats, very versatile for casual and formal wear in colder weather. My own preference is for the classic velvet collar, with the 2 side pockets, ticket pocket and breast pocket. Great with jeans or a suit.
Thank you for your insightful comment! Natural fabrics like silk ties and classic velvet collars truly add a sophisticated touch to both casual and formal outfits. Overcoats are indeed a versatile option. Your sense of style is impeccable! Have a great day!
Thanks for leaving a comment! You're right-being able to cook is a great skill. But what do you think is more important for first impressions, cooking or how someone presents themselves? Have a great day!
While talking about blazers, none of the men were wearing a blazer. It isn’t any of the jackets shown. They are black or navy, have brass or silver buttons, and ideally, patch pockets. They go perfectly with a Panama hat. I wore a navy blazer/brass buttons, sand coloured wool and silk trousers, crisp white shirt and tie of navy and yellow stripes with burgundy mirror polished shoes and a Panama hat. I got numerous compliments from both young and mature women and men in one day.
Thank you for sharing your stylish outfit choice! It sounds like you really know how to pull off a classic look with the Panama hat and navy blazer. Compliments from both young and mature women definitely show you're doing it right! Have a great day!
I understand your point, but fashion is always changing, and what was once unconventional can become mainstream. The important thing is that everyone has the freedom to express themselves however they feel most comfortable. Why not mix the classics with a little bit of the new? It’s all about balance!
Thanks for leaving a comment! You’ve got a point that a Ferrari can grab attention, but interestingly, most people who can afford such luxury are usually very conscious about their appearance as well. Dressing well complements the lifestyle and adds to their overall impression. Don’t you think style plays a big role in how people are perceived, no matter what they drive? Have a great day!
I stopped watching at the first recommended item - a baseball cap. Utterly ridiculous on anyone over 25. I live in the UK, and any older guy wearing one is laughed at by both men and women.
I understand where you're coming from. Style is highly subjective and varies by culture and region. In some places, baseball caps might not be favored by older men, but in others, it’s a common and stylish choice. It’s all about what works best for you. Have you found any particular styles that you think work well universally?
Not the same story, across the pond, mate. Key word “baseball”. It’s sunshine, hotdogs and baseball! Not, perpetually gray overcast, fish and chips and cricket. Ball caps are practical, where the sun shines, and therefore acceptable at any age in the USA. Backwards Ball caps? Very subjective
UK as well and I quite agree! To me a baseball hat back to front always looks as if the person does not have his head on correctly. 😂 I'd not be seen dead wearing one.
I bought some expensive Ralph Lauren colorful button down colors on sale 50% off getting them for around $45 each. The size was one up from mine so they fit in the sleeves. I took them for alterations (now perfect) spending an additional $26/shirt. End result: I spent around $70/shirt, for 3 beautiful shirts in the normally $90-$100 range that fit PERFECTLY. I agree with what your saying. WOMEN NOTICE.
That’s a great approach! Sometimes it’s all about finding those deals and making small adjustments to get the perfect fit. Women definitely notice those details. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I landed here accidentally and i think its funny that you have to say that one should not wear socks with sandals. As it was playing in the other room and caught my attention i skipped the rest if the video after...
Thank you for leaving a comment! That sounds like a classic combination-dark blue blazer and a quality wool collar are always solid choices. What's your take on adding a pocket square to finish off the look? Have a great day ahead!
First of all, thank you for the video love this content. I never got why any male would wear sandals, not even as a teenager on a summertime beach day because they seem girly in my opinion. Happy to know that my baseball hat collection was able to survive my 50th birthday.
Thank you for the thoughtful comment! Your baseball hat collection sounds interesting-any particular favorite hat that holds a story or special memory?
Great question! White socks with black sneakers can be a casual, sporty look, but if you want to elevate your style, switching to black or grey socks may work better for a more polished appearance. Have a great day!
I believe you're referring to a classic brown leather cafe racer jacket. These jackets are usually from brands like Schott NYC, Belstaff, or Vanson Leathers, which are known for their vintage, rugged style. You can pick one here www.thejacketmaker.com/mens-cafe-racer-jackets
Thanks for your question! Absolutely, these tips can work for Indian men too. Style and grooming transcend cultures, and women generally appreciate men who are well put together, confident, and pay attention to details. It's all about finding the balance that fits your personal style and cultural context.
im mid 40s and even when I still look young enough to be mid 20s, but I think having a close cropped stubble is a look I will keep forever, and I think slightly tinted glasses is so cool and I'm going to keep it forever, side zip leather boots is also thing I will keep forever, the others are denim jackets, leather jackets, blazer, turtleneck knit sweater and slim straight trousers and jeans. as for cap I think I like dark fiddler cap , and commando cap, classic, plain works with anything with a hint of military coolness, and not so pretentious as with other more flamboyant hats
Thanks for leaving a comment! It sounds like you've really honed in on a personal style that works for you-denim jackets, leather jackets, and a military touch can definitely create a cool, timeless look. Do you find this style to be well-received by those around you? Have a great day!

@the-stoic-insights-1 I have several of the same bright green and construction orange (because I like the color) and a few normal gray and dark gray. These are also great when flying. Airplanes are drafty. I rarely have flown business class. Ironically a young gal recently complimented me when wearing my gray hoodie. 🤪
@@RichardJOberle Bright green and construction orange sound like bold and fun choices! The gray hoodie clearly has some charm too-especially if it's getting compliments!

Great choice, Nikora! Coordinated outfits and awesome sneakers like Nike and Air Jordan can definitely elevate your style game. Keep rocking that mean physique!
HOLD the HORSES... 3:11 about color, Most stores sells clothes to men with little selection in color, you got the Dark colors, Green, Blue, brown, black, even in spring... I also notice we do get white, and gray.. But a lot of the time its not an option or nice vibrate colors.

Toe socks work with open sandals in esrly spring and fall to keep the feet warm, I've even gotten compliments for their uniqueness followed by where did I pirchase them.
Thanks for sharing your unique style tip, Timper! Toe socks with open sandals certainly add a distinct flair. Have you tried pairing them with other outfits too?
I’ve noticed tyat I spend much more time on details on my clothing choices than the average men and even women. I see many just pop into a store and in 15 mins. have what they’ve picked out. Then ppl. get surprised when I put myself together and the choices I’ve made. Oh and I’m a boomer and have been doing this since the early 80s and have gone through many many trends to get where I know what I like.
Absolutely! Smell and speech definitely play a huge role in how we present ourselves. Fragrance is like the finishing touch to a well-thought-out outfit. Thank you for commenting, and have a great day!
Great choices with Creed Aventus and Bentley Silverlake! Both fragrances definitely add that extra touch to a leather jacket look. What do you prefer for more casual days? Thanks for your comment, and have a great day!
The one I struggle with most is the Watch. I wear my apple watch almost exclusively. I do, just like before it came out when I am really trying to dress up, I wear a very nice watch, but that happens maybe a couple times a year. I know I can get nice bands for my watch but often seems impractical. Go to the Gym everyday, work from home so I am never going places. And on weekend a am very active, and the need is to be casual. Not going to dress nice to coach my kids baseball game.
It sounds like you’ve got your everyday watch game down! Maybe try switching to a sleek leather band for your Apple Watch on special occasions. It could add that extra touch without being too much effort. What do you think?
Your style sounds on point! Skinny jeans, Prada boots, and a Vince v-neck-classic and stylish. Do you have a favorite go-to outfit for different occasions?
@@the-stoic-insights-1 Formal events require an excellent tailor made tuxedo. I have one. I also own a black suit also tailor made. I own several sports coats that I wear over my tees, and sometimes, I add a pocket square and scarf. Again, simple and classy. I don't like flash but have no problems with clothing that exudes confidence.
I agree with mostly everything that is said here, the one exception being the acceptability of baseball caps on an older man. Unless you're standing on a baseball diamond, playing baseball, these caps are inappropriate, and represent the lowest rung in men's style when it comes to hats. I wear a genuine Panama hat in the summer months, a variety of English tweed flat caps, a classic grey fur felt fedora, or a cashmere beret in black, camel, or olive in the spring and fall, and a black lamb's wool Papakha in the winter. Any of these are more stylish and more flattering on an older man -or on any man, of any age.
You've got a great point about the versatility of hats like Panama and fedoras, especially for older men. Do you think baseball caps could ever have a place in casual settings, or should they be avoided entirely?
@@the-stoic-insights-1 I think that men in their twenties can make a baseball cap work, if it is a high-end cap, in a neutral colour, without any garish logos, but in all honesty, the baseball cap is the most over-worked item of headgear worn by men throughout North America. A fur felt fedora, made by a classic brand like Stetson, will instantly elevate one's style, and women will definitely notice -just as they notice a pair of full brogue oxfords but won't take a second glance at the millionth pair of sneakers they see on men's feet.

Baseball cap back to front on an old man I don't think so.
Thank you. Wearing a baseball cap will make you stronger.
Women automatically think you are covering baldness when wearing any hat.
Never a good look. Panama hat on an older gent is great 👍.

Wearing a hat backwards is meant to avoid running a hat from sweating, not for styling.

And every time you put on another article of clothing while getting dressed be sure to hit that like button!

That was awesome, made me laugh
👏👏👏👏👏😎👍
The hat backwards look and tribal tattoos on older dudes is a very douchebag look. Skinny jeans, anime or cartoons or superhero T-shirts on any man are really cringey. I’m seeing a lot more of this these days.

I'm currently stranded in a "city"...more like a small town..where the uniform for practically everybody, both sexes, all ages..hoodies,baseball caps and, since the weather is getting cooler, things made out of flannel. It's a clothing nightmare.

@@the-stoic-insights-1 Looks like AI has responded to my comment. It's totally missing my gist. Baseball caps belong on the baseball field.
I get where you're coming from about baseball hats. Style is subjective, but maybe it's about finding the right balance between casual and classy.
I wear a baseball cap sometimes, but it is not nor will it be a stylish look. I have a great head of hair and if I wear one it's because I just simply didn't want to spend the time styling it.

Great video! If I may I add the ff:
1) Shorter men should avoid shoes that has a round tip, it will make you look fatter and shorter.
2) Older man wearing a Bow tie instead of a tie is also an option, it will actually turn many heads around
4) Never mix brown & purple colours
5) I agree to invest in good shoes.
3. While talking about blazers, none of the men were wearing a blazer. It isn’t any of the jackets shown. They are black or navy, have brass or silver buttons, and ideally, patch pockets. They go perfectly with a Panama hat.
