Well few things- 1)I really don't understand why we didnt play at least 1 warm up game against a SA state side. No point going to SA 10 days or 1 month before the start if the prep is not top quality. 2) They should have rested the all format players from the NZ Series. Asitha was only given a break the last 2 games, he was playing non stop all formats till then. Bad plater management and being short sighted 3) I agree with the mentality, need to develop a hard nosed - hard minded players. Even Bangala players are more battle hardened in terms of test match intensity
The reality is Chandimal, Mathews, Karunaratne, Mendis and De Silva are part of the post Jayawardene-Sangakkara era and, it was a complete decline they kept losing series after series and they have a losing mentality they are good players but they are not world class and we need a change we need players that haven't been scarred by previous results new blood is needed.
@ no but they didn’t have the fast bowlers back then we had Welegedara and Thushara this fast bowling group is the best we have had. We just need batsmen that have a winning mindset and want to make big runs then we will have a team here.

Dont compare srilanka team with that poor bangladesh. What is bangladesh home records? We srilankan complete dominant team now a days in home series except pakistan tour. Every team had home advantage thats why SA also did it but if SA come to srilanka then play in our condition this series would be srilanka favor but bangladesh didnt well they home tour also with SA 😅😅😅 dont use that bangladesh compare with us lol
