You gotta have arguments sometimes. Not saying everything you need/want to say can become very unhealthy for a relationship. You gotta express what’s bothering you and what you don’t like so you can both work through it.
Arguments aren't a bad thing.....it's HOW you argue that's the case. When arguments involve name-calling, attacking your partner instead of attacking the issue or conflict, disrespecting your partner (especially in public), yelling, that's when there needs to be a time-out called.

It didn't air on Disney Channel, it aired on ABC. They showed reruns on Disney Channel for a while, and when they did, they cut lines and scenes like that out. I specifically remember the football player scene being edited and chuckling because I remembered what the original (i.e., this clip) was.
@@MaddietheWindy Why air the show if your going to cut it out Disney Channel have always been soft never mature no wonder they treated Girl Meets World like shit
I have a couple questions for everyone who thinks that Topanga's innocent in this situation: Do you not have moments when you're upset & just wanna be left alone? Would you not have an issue with someone refusing to leave you alone in those moments (no matter how many times you ask them to)? They were both wrong
This is not how you should fight with your spouse....EVER! This is divorce kinda I hate you fighting. When you start coming at each others weaknesses...that’s a pretty bad sign. “You can’t provide” or “you’re a loser” and “you’re never going to be good enough” Those are things to be said RARELY and VERRRRYY carefully. Oh boy.
If you're married, I might agree with you, but if you've never been married, then don't post comments on something you've never lived through. Marriage is not easy. I should know, from 19 years of experience in the marriage department .
Yh topanga started this one. He clearly wanted to be left alone and he specifically said he didnt want to say anything he would regret and she kept pushing him.
I related so much to Corey in this scene When I am really mad, or frustrated, I have a very thin filter. I tell people who try to talk to me that I am mad and to leave me alone for a while because when I’m mad, everything I say will be said with the intention to hurt. Especially if it’s the truth. I try to keep myself away from others until I calm down because I don’t want to hurt someone or say something I can’t take back.
I’m on Cory’s side, he told Topanga several times to leave him alone before he says something he’d regret but she just wanted to keep bugging him so it’s her fault that Cory was angry
@@notmakingcontent That was wrong, but he said that out of frustration. He obviously didn’t mean it, because of the regret he felt immediately. Does that make it right? No, but Cory was instantly remorseful for his words. That being said, Topanga’s trying to get Cory to get his mind off what was bugging him was caring, loving and thoughtful, but she shouldn’t have pressed him to talk when he clearly wasn’t in the right headspace to do so. She should’ve said “When you want to talk, just let me know.” They’re both in the wrong.
This is a much more PG version of very realistic fights I have had with my LT boyfriend. We don't call each other names, but her correcting him in the middle and him saying "Really? I can't believe you're doing right now!" That gave me deja vu lol Shows then or now don't make me feel like this show. It may not be the "grittiest" or "darkest" but I think this show knows exactly what it is and the writers are great. Too many shows either don't accurately portray growing up or attempt to make everything WAY too disturbing and over-the-top. The characters in this show were mostly middle class normal white kids with normal problems. I like it. It's simple. Perfectly done show honestly.
I can understand Corey's frustration with things not going well for him in his life and Topanga was insensitive at times not really seeing how he was feeling like he was failing and didn't have anything going for him. Still, comparing himself to her and blaming her successes/being confident as the reason he feels like a failure and insecure is not fair. She really should have given him some space like he asked, then they could have talked about it later and opened up when they weren't feeling so defensive. It's too bad more people aren't open to couples counseling BEFORE they have major issues/resentment or moments like this might be prevented/handled better.
Amal Nasser mad sensitive you could make gay jokes as well as negro jokes your mother jokes because it was a harmless comment at the time and everybody knew the difference between disrespect and a joke that’s the thing about people now you don’t know how to take a joke because you’re such a glass house that everything shatters you into pieces so nobody can crack a joke with you anymore cause you will automatically take offence like him saying that gay joke was really harmless it would have been the equivalent to him cussing Eric’s height and saying he had a small dick
As an adult I can see that Cory has a real problem making his inferiority complex everyone else’s problem. He had a meltdown when Shawn was doing better at the advertising agency and now this. Yes, it can suck to feel like you’re lagging behind, but if you love your friend/partner you suck it up and support them until you’re moment comes.
Maybe this whole fight was pointless, but I think this time it was Topenga's fault. Cory told her she just let him clear his thoughts, but she hat to push him, till he loosed it
truthfully it wouldn’t have mattered if Topanga left him alone or not. when anger comes out the true feelings do too. i know this is a show but thats really what happens
Agreed, the main issue isn’t that she didn’t leave him alone. If she did he would have built up resentment for her, and not have communicated how he truly felt. The main issue is the fact that Topanga doesn’t think highly of him. She called him an imbecile, said it was a little magazine project, and said he can’t sell one magazine (while she can). She makes herself seem nonjudgmental in the moments (when she’s helping him and trying out what he’s doing herself), when she actually is judging him and thinks she’s better than him. It’s reasonable for Cory to not think as highly of himself when surrounded by someone who doesn’t think much of him too
The argument is so intense because of how much they love each other yet the return dialogue goes so far because they lose their minds in that moment but they are truly in love.

@@DanA-zf8bt exactly. it still would have come out. it's best not to let these things build up. it was a hurtful argument but it's still communication and honesty which is best for any relationship
Honestly? This is all on Topanga. Here is why... 1. She couldn't take no for an answer, no means no, just leave the man alone to collect himself. Cory tried to ask her, and be polite. 2. Rather than actually hear what he said with his very real problem Topanga tried to correct him, and make him feel silly for feeling that way. 3. While Cory did insult Topanga his assault was empty meaningless. Hers cut to his core. She was in the wrong 100%. He needed support, she outshined him. He needed space, she clung. He asked her to stop. She continued. Anyone saying it was his fault clearly have not been pushed to the edge.... nor have they had their worth questioned by the person who gave it to them.

"no I wanna see topanga make Cory cry" 😂 Eric was messy 😂😂
Why is it called Shawn and Angela
Aubrey Marceaux because It's there moments IG
Because they’re in the same scene together... even though they don’t exchange any lines lmao
Aubrey Marceaux
Yow!
Yow!
Shawn. Angela. Yes. That, is why it’s specially called...*Shawn and Angela*
Why do yall constantly ask this when it's self explanatory why it's called Shawn and Angela..
@@itakemytime1156 but it’s so funny the way they are saying like two words but the title is about them 🤣
I love this scene. It was real and the acting was impeccable
i remember how big and intense this scene was
She shouldn’t of pushed him, and they are MARRIED they should of known how to prevent an argument.
You gotta have arguments sometimes. Not saying everything you need/want to say can become very unhealthy for a relationship. You gotta express what’s bothering you and what you don’t like so you can both work through it.
lol married people argue.
Arguments aren't a bad thing.....it's HOW you argue that's the case. When arguments involve name-calling, attacking your partner instead of attacking the issue or conflict, disrespecting your partner (especially in public), yelling, that's when there needs to be a time-out called.
Is it a distraction being gay
*dropped Mic*
Cory told Topanga to leave him alone before he says something he'd regret but NOOO she has to keep buggin the shit outta him and now look what happen but yet everybody looks at Cory like he's the bad guy here.
Topanga was trying to helpit's not like she meant to make curry hecka mad she didn't and honestly Cory is the bad guy here he wouldn't wait too far he could have just said some things and been done with it but no he had to cross that line and go even fearther after that like no he may regret it but still dang
@Mister Sir no it was both there fault I am not saying it was just Cory but he went too far and honestly if anyone should shut up it's you like no one was talking to you and I was stateing my opinion so if you want to talk let's talk I am getting tired of people like you I mean Cory had his reasons for being mad but Topanga his wife why wouldn't she want to know why he was upset and HE WENT TO FAR I don't blame him for arguing bit he ran a mile past the line
@Mister Sir and it's not all hers either and what does spelling have to do with what we are talking about ok as I said and I will say it again he didn't just go to far he crossed the line and ran a mile sure it was Topanga's fault but it was also Cory's it take to people to fight
cory is dumb as rocks he's holding topanga back everything is his fault
This still makes me cry 😢 after all these years.
i love Eric so much
“Have pookie-pook?!” And they aired this show on Disney Channel?!?!🤯😂
Yea little man they did
It didn't air on Disney Channel, it aired on ABC. They showed reruns on Disney Channel for a while, and when they did, they cut lines and scenes like that out. I specifically remember the football player scene being edited and chuckling because I remembered what the original (i.e., this clip) was.
@@eccentriceli3541 Lol 😆
@@MaddietheWindy Why air the show if your going to cut it out Disney Channel have always been soft never mature no wonder they treated Girl Meets World like shit
“I win! You leave, I win!”...no, when someone like her leaves, you just lost and you lost big!
Exactly Especially that lost nookie
Nobody won.
And he knew that immediately.
I laughed so hard when the music dropped after Corey told Topanga she killed his spirit 🤣🤣
I have a couple questions for everyone who thinks that Topanga's innocent in this situation: Do you not have moments when you're upset & just wanna be left alone? Would you not have an issue with someone refusing to leave you alone in those moments (no matter how many times you ask them to)? They were both wrong
Topanagas hair here is EVERYTHING!!
"You killed my spirit"
Think about how topanga was as a little girl...that line was calibrated.
What do you mean?
@@Hecateofcrossroads she was a free spirit
"I wanna see topanga make cory cry" is a sibling thing to say 😂
This is not how you should fight with your spouse....EVER! This is divorce kinda I hate you fighting. When you start coming at each others weaknesses...that’s a pretty bad sign. “You can’t provide” or “you’re a loser” and “you’re never going to be good enough”
Those are things to be said RARELY and VERRRRYY carefully. Oh boy.
If you're married, I might agree with you, but if you've never been married, then don't post comments on something you've never lived through. Marriage is not easy. I should know, from 19 years of experience in the marriage department .
Even Eric knew he went to far.,. and he’s Eric 🤦🏽♀️
Eric is actually quite smart wne6it comes to other people feelings everything els not so much but feelings he kinda good at.
Thank you 😁
Yh topanga started this one. He clearly wanted to be left alone and he specifically said he didnt want to say anything he would regret and she kept pushing him.
THEY ALL WERE SO YOUNG, AND CUTE BACK THEN
I related so much to Corey in this scene
When I am really mad, or frustrated, I have a very thin filter. I tell people who try to talk to me that I am mad and to leave me alone for a while because when I’m mad, everything I say will be said with the intention to hurt. Especially if it’s the truth. I try to keep myself away from others until I calm down because I don’t want to hurt someone or say something I can’t take back.
I’m on Cory’s side, he told Topanga several times to leave him alone before he says something he’d regret but she just wanted to keep bugging him so it’s her fault that Cory was angry
cory is dumb as rocks he's holding topanga back everything is his fault
But at the same time, while it was her fault for pressing the matter, he was also at fault for blaming the entire marriage for his shortcomings.
She should’ve said “When you want to talk, just let me know.”
They’re both in the wrong.
why is the title called shawn and angela if it was mostly about Cory and Topanga
it shows clips where both angela or shawn appears in the scene not necessarily when they have all the attention
copy right stuff
Bc everything’s about them
The original Hermione
I used to watch this in my early teenage years and this scene had me in tears. I hated when they would fight.
Dude, ALL of the Lawrence Brothers are fine as f***. They really scored in the gene pool ♥️♥️♥️
Back when you could make gay jokes for the sake of comedy and not have people getting all butthurt about it.
Gay people don't wanna be made fun of.
Back when being Gay was a joke, grow the fuck up
I think because being gay was something to make fun of and that’s not a good thing
Lol pansies 😂
Amal Nasser mad sensitive you could make gay jokes as well as negro jokes your mother jokes because it was a harmless comment at the time and everybody knew the difference between disrespect and a joke that’s the thing about people now you don’t know how to take a joke because you’re such a glass house that everything shatters you into pieces so nobody can crack a joke with you anymore cause you will automatically take offence like him saying that gay joke was really harmless it would have been the equivalent to him cussing Eric’s height and saying he had a small dick
Topanga and Corey were cutting deep this episode lol 😂😂😂
Cory warned her I hate when people don’t back off when you ask for space.
3:30 look at them in the background hahahaha shawn and eric couldn’t make ONE scene without laughing
He’s threatened by her success.
More like her success being shoved in his face at every turn and her poking at him to "do better" in an unsupportive way.
Both of them are blamed, because they both said some harsh words at each other.
Cory could’ve been nice to her, and Topanga could’ve calmed down.
Jacks face at 00:59 😆😆😆
Gourmet coffee .75 cents what
Katelyn Shuffield it's like $2.00 now.
This is a primary example as to why envy is one of the seven deadly sins......
Lord knows the amount of sword fights those jocks had in the locker room later that day. LOL! 😂😂😂
Shawn: Okay that’s it we out.
You knew things got serious when Shawn was like: F*%k this $*it I’m out.
Cory and Topanga have the most forced tension storylines. They argue and break up over the stupidest things.
Well, couldn’t be strong enough to where they would break up for good
All my life watching this show I NEVER SEEN THIS EPISODE 😌 I’m glad I just seen this snippet 😌
how is this couple goals again because...this is scary xD
They've known each other since they were infants and still haven't figured out how to communicate.
Well, they were married now....go figure
When he told her to leave him alone that's exactly what she should of done. She kept pushing & pushing.
Starting at 3:25 just look at the smirk Eric has back there 🤣🤣🤣.
Shawn is def laughing with his back turned at that moment 😂
Maybe this whole fight was pointless, but I think this time it was Topenga's fault. Cory told her she just let him clear his thoughts, but she hat to push him, till he loosed it
Never poke the bear even when it's already angry. 😕
I miss those memories
Its funny hearing them talk about eing married but get there still in college
"oh man."
ya u messed up
hopexlilly this is good
Late 1990s early 2000s were fun times
True that. Teen adolescent shows can't be as good as this these days
truthfully it wouldn’t have mattered if Topanga left him alone or not. when anger comes out the true feelings do too. i know this is a show but thats really what happens
It’s reasonable for Cory to not think as highly of himself when surrounded by someone who doesn’t think much of him too
He wasn't really angry until she started pushing him. More so just frustrated.
When Topanga said, "As well as you," that is exactly what I do and my brothers hate it.
Ummm on the bright side, Topanga looked really good here. 😅
The argument is so intense because of how much they love each other yet the return dialogue goes so far because they lose their minds in that moment but they are truly in love.
There were so many ooos in that scene, I thought the studio audience was going to break
"As an athlete on the football team is it a distraction being gay"??? Gotta love Eric 😭😂
0:49 makes me laugh every damn time 🤣🤣🤣
I need every season of boy meets world 😢
She should've kept her damn mouth shut. But they been together so long you'd think they'd be tired of one another

Cory was so insecure 😟
Topanga didn't deserve that at all
rjongwe70 First, he asked her nicely to leave him so that he won't have to say anything he will regret, but she just keep on going on with her yapping so she can win, and when he actually said something he finally regretted, she be hurt? Well, it wasn't fully his fault, he asked her nicely to leave him alone, but she won't stop, so...
rjongwe70 neither one deserved what they said to each other it was so sad and hurtful from both sides
Actually topanga started it when Cory said “Even if I don’t do my life as good as you” and she said “as well as you”
People are all saying that she should’ve left him alone but it’s actually better for couples to let off steam like this. She should’ve waited until they reached a more private setting though
"Letting off steam", breaks up relationships.
Terrence Dayton It only breaks the relationship if the relationship is weak.
@@DanA-zf8bt exactly. it still would have come out. it's best not to let these things build up. it was a hurtful argument but it's still communication and honesty which is best for any relationship
Chisom Anyanwu Yes. The faster they let these feelings out the better
I absolutely hate fighting with my fiancé, but sometimes it's the only semi healthy way to let out frustrations.
Shawn: Cory I would hardly call it your career
Cory:SHUT UP
Shawn: yowwwwww
😂😂😂
Shawn and Angela just both stayed out of their way😂
When messing with the toughest guy take a weird turn
Oh boy that was...intense
Agreed, the main issue isn’t that she didn’t leave him alone. If she did he would have built up resentment for her, and not have communicated how he truly felt. The main issue is the fact that Topanga doesn’t think highly of him. She said, “whatever bug you have up your butt” as if he’s not valid to have emotions, called him an imbecile, said it was a little magazine project, and said he can’t sell one magazine (while she can). She makes herself seem nonjudgmental in the moments (when she’s helping him and trying out what he’s doing herself), when she actually is judging him and thinks she’s better than him. It’s reasonable for Cory to not think as highly of himself when surrounded by someone who doesn’t think much of him too
Eric :I'm the chosen one

Eric in the back:😁
Topanga shouldn't have pushed him but Corry was way out of line. But then again their isn't a right or wrong. As long as they come to an understanding, which they did.
Gotta love Eric🤣🤣🤣
I love Shawn!
That was the fight that I was scared they weren't going to come back from but I get where he was coming from she's an overachiever who has a tendency to take over but not because she's being a know-it-all and rubbing it in his face it's just because she really wants to help but she's also a strong personality so she tends to bulldoze over him
This felt like a roast battle
Everytime I watch this the more I side with Cory
That gay line oh my god who let Eric keep talking 😂
when season 7 sucks it sucks but when it shines it really shines
