Hej Daniel! Brilliant! I was looking forward to this when you mentioned in your other vid channel. Thank you for sharing and another recipe keeper for me!
Hey Magdalena! Okay seriously, this one is a keeper. I'd never even made this before I started researching how I could put together this recipe and I swear I ate almost the whole jar in one sitting. I think I'm an asparagus junkie. I may need to go to Asparagus Anonymous and get some help.
Really liked the ease of this method. I had asparagus that we couldn't eat right away and I didn't have enough to pressure can a batch and this method saved the asparagus from going bad. You remind me of my beautiful brother or passed away this year. Same beautiful smile and personality (I don't know you personally, so this is just the outward personality you express, just like him).🙂 Thank you for sharing! Yours was the first video I clicked on when I search RUclips.
Hey thanks, Jeremiah. It's the same method I use for regular pickles and I typically have no issue getting 8-12 weeks safely as long as the fluid level remains reasonably high or if I make sure to shake the bottle occasionally if I chow the level down. Unopened and on a shelf, I tend to get at the same length or longer as long as the seal is good.
Hi, I've seen other vids that call for soaking asparagus in salt water for 2 hours to prevent them from getting mushy. Are yours crisp after this process? Thanks in advance!
@@ExtremeFoodReviews LOL Are you kidding it seemed each person grabbed their own personal jar and wouldn't share. I just made some more about 4 days back. So now I have a few jars to last me for a little while. :-)
I'd never tried it either. The fact that I ate almost the whole jar in one sitting probably says I should make this more often. I have to make a jar without the peppers because Megan feels left out.
The worst part about this recipe is having to wait a few days to try it. I just did this recipe I use different peppers and added some Hot Chili Pepper but it still looks like it turned out great! I can't wait to try this out!
So glad to have you back with a new recipe. Is a new review with Jonas coming next? Can't believe that people don't like asparagus. This recipe looks delicious. Don't fear the spear!
Only takes a few minutes. You're just looking to get the temperature up and get the flavors mixing. The temp of the brine allows the jar to create a seal as it cools after you pop the lid on.
i have had i before....but i dont eat it hahaha the wife doesnt like it either so we never eat it lol, extreme is a big word but i rather eat a lemon lol
Hahaha maybe someday, youtube is on a low right now been so busy and getting a new job end of the year preparing for that. Responding and so nor problem but cant see to find if i make a video to edit it and upload it got some stuff almost ready but man its a struggle. Make a video on you othere channel with tips when you struggle.
Hey Daniel, whats up with no uploads for 2 years? Are you ever gonna start back? I know you are busy with the other channel but...I know you're still cooking!! Come On Ma!!🤓
Awesome recipe! My mom brought me a jar of tabasco pickled asparagus and I was surprised to see on the label "made with genetically modified asparagus". No thanks! This looks so much better!
Hello. Nice ! I've never tasted pickled asparagus but I sure love 'em. I bet those were quite spicy & tasty. When ever I get any asparagus in the house from the store or garden I'm having bit problems getting them cooked...or whatever the plan is because I tend eat them raw...so there's nothing left. So question : Does these make your pee stink like the un-pickled ones ?. I liked your video. Thanks 👌👍😀

Proper garlic peeling / crush technique. Nice video extreme dude.
Thank you, BG! Not a single lime juice bottle was harmed in the making of this video.
Quick and to the point. Aa a how-to video should be, but rarely is. 👍
Woha, new EFR content!
Easily my favourite video that contains spicy pickled asparagus.
It's a super tasty snack :)
Haha! High praise indeed.
I tried these using your recipe/process and left in the frig for 15 days while on vacation…OMG these are so incredibly delicious!!
Sounds great cannot wait to try these. I have never pickled anything in my life , hopefully these will be as good as the ones in the fancy food shops!
You really aren't messing around with the spice, brother! Love the energy, thanks for the recipe.
Right! Great energy! Subscribed
I really love your channel I've tried a few things my friends showed me from here and it's beautiful keep going I hope to see more from yall 😍😍
Looks and sounds delicious❣️Am drooling just watching this pickling magic start to happen. 💖👍
My mouth is watering right now. Just made 5 jars of pickled fish and now I’m going to try this recipe for asparagus. Looks soooo good.

I´ll keep this idea for May next year when there is fresh Asparagus in Germany :-)
It sounds good, Kai
Ha! Hey there, Kai. Did you make it back to Germany in one piece?
Nearly Dan,
first my body arrived, piece by piece my mind is following day by day.
What’s the shelf life
Nice, I added 🍋😌❣️.
I am so glad to find your Video. I just made 6 quart jars of spicy pickled asparagus. Thank-You. :-)
How’d it come out?
@@ExtremeFoodReviews After 3 days in the fridge only 2 quarts were left standing. I had to hide them behind the milk. LOL :-)
Ha!! So you’re saying nobody liked them..? :D

Ive never tried pickled asparagus, interesting :)

awww poor Megan - get on that!! I will see if we still have asparagus here
You may have lost it during Brexit. No more asparagus for you.
NOOOOOO they lied to us, they said asparagus for all once we were out! I WANT MY ASPARAGUS

Good to be back, Rob! We have a few things in the works and Jonas's smiling face will be back too.
Just made a jar. Can’t wait to try em. Also can’t wait to stop coughing and tearing up from frying up those habaneros. 😂😂
How was it?
. . . and SOLD!
Ha! Yeah, it's really good :D
My buddy jthreeb sent me over here, I'm subbing making me hungry!
Welcome aboard!
Jeremiah just sent me some footage for a collab we're doing. Should be fun! He's such a good guy
How long do you boil the brine mix?
Only takes a few minutes. You're just looking to get the temperature up and get the flavors mixing. The temp of the brine allows the jar to create a seal as it cools after you pop the lid on.
AssaLame...SiR.
Thank You
Nice but Asparagus not my thing. But great fun to see you make it.
Would you go so far as to say it would be "Extreme" for you to eat asparagus?
i have had i before....but i dont eat it hahaha the wife doesnt like it either so we never eat it lol, extreme is a big word but i rather eat a lemon lol
We may need to do a collab. "Today, Michel is going to do something insane! He's going to eat...**dramatic music**... Asparagus!!" **Crowd goes wild**

I hate asparagus, but I love pickled asparagus. They taste like regular pickled cucumbers
Don't have to pre cook the asparagus? Neat. I'm using leftover store bought pickled asparagus brine and jar to make some.
That looks awesome, would be good with a Bloody Mary!
I like the way you think.
@@ExtremeFoodReviews :)
Is it Crunchy or soft soggy like? So you put them in raw, right!?
A-1 !!!!
Wow
he hee i never done this yet, They don't last long around here / So good with butter, garlic touch of salt or boiled with butter and touch of salt

Haha! "Genetically modified asparagus?" Where the heck is your mom shopping? I feel like that's a character in Guardians of the Galaxy.
All asparagus is genetically modified unless stated otherwise, or you grow it yourself. It's called GMOs
Oh my God my mouth is on fire
See where I am at, I can get such beautiful looking Thai chilis...
