Good accurate review. I recently bought a 24 can size as shown in this video. I put 1 10 lb bag of ice along with a few ice cubes from my refrig and got the same ice retention shown in this review. Plenty of ice after 24 hours and still a few cubes after 48 hours. I opened the bag 3-4 times during the 2 days but mine did stay zipped the rest of the time. The bag is well made and I had no leaks. Time will tell how well it holds up. I am happy that I can get 2 full days out of it before having to add ice. This will work well for me when traveling. I can't see paying $300-350 for a Yeti Hopper as ice will not last much longer if any. I have a friend who has one and it is well made, but the ice retention was really no better. Save yourself the $$$ and buy one of these for $50.
I'd be interested in hearing how it holds up long term as far as holding water - being **completely** leak proof. We're searching for a cooler bag that can go to hotel rooms and in the car that won't completely soak the floors due to leakage. (Without having to buy a Yeti which is just stupid... we would sooner lug a hard side cooler than pay $400.)
I havent filled it with water to test this but i havent had any leaks since I posted this review. I try to keep the cooler upright as much as possible. The bottom hasnt been wet so no wet floors etc where you set the cooler.
