This is beautiful! A challenge for me for sure but I will get this stitch down! I have had to frog the first round a couple of times but I promise I am not giving up! If I remember I will post a photo of the finished hat in the group. Thanks for this beautiful tutorial.

As soon as I saw this video I went hunting in my stash for suitable yarn and found I didn't have any. So, I went on Amazon and ordered some that was delivered this afternoon and now I am half way through making this hat. 😁

Well, I did it! If it weren't for your genius, there is no way I could have pulled it off. I just kept going, trusting that it would work out, and it did! It's so pretty!!!!! I used a 4-weight yarn and a size J/6mm hook. Next time I will use a thinner yarn and maybe a 6.5mm hook. The hat is so thick that it stands up like a bowl. Sadly, it won't fit my big head. But I love it and I'm determined to find a use for it. I feel really proud to have been able to make this. Crystal, I am a good crocherer because you are my teacher. I can't thank you enough!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love this stitch and hat. I kept messing up, but eventually got it. I had some special yarn I was saving (cashmere blend) and this is the project for it. Appreciated the detail on the crown of the hat, that helped me keep trying til I got it.
