Okay so everyone's heard about all the buzz surrounding Drake Bell and the new Discover plus documentary, ‘Quiet On Set.’ Now Drake Bell, known for his role as a child star, is now speaking up about something serious for the first time: the S A he faced when he was just 15 years old. He's bravely sharing his story on an upcoming TV series called "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV," which has just aired
From the very beginning of this news hitting the internet there’s one thing many have been wondering. That thing being, what does ‘Drake & Josh’ co-star Josh Peck have to say about all of this if anything at all.

Excatly. Now, seeing what he had gone through as a kid. He said the show made him a lot happier in time. It was his reality escape. Working with Josh and starting seeing him as a friend/brother that was like some happiness for him.

The show was his escape and he was much happier with having Josh as a friend. It helped him have a better childhood. With them being brothers on the show and off-screen, Drake saw him as a brother and friend. I know that must have hurt him really bad to lose Josh.
Here’s the thing, Josh’s experience can be HIS EXPERIENCE with Dan. That doesn’t mean what everyone else experienced isn’t true. The man can be gross to some and ok to others. That’s how it works.
He was never gross to anyone though, nobody accused him of such nature the only thing anyone accused him of is what everyone says that he’s mean and strict. If you watch the documentary, Drake doesn't blame Dan for what happened, either. After Peck's arrest, Dan called him to see if it was him that was the minor in the case, then just told him to take all the time he needed and that if he wanted to talk he would be there.

It seems pretty accurate for Dan Schneider to be somewhat nicer to Josh Peck than Drake Bell because of the fact that Josh (during his time on "The Amanda Show" and during the first two seasons of "Drake and Josh") was the fat funny kid. Chances are that his attitude towards Josh changed after Josh lost weight. What is particularly annoying is the fact that people have repeatedly suggested that Dan Schneider is the father of Jamie Lynn Spears' eldest daughter Maddie. If this was true; then why didn't Dan force Jamie Lynn to get an abortion to destroy evidence of his crimes? Besides, Maddie doesn't deserve to have this cloud looming over her head because she is in high school and she deserves to be able to enjoy all the fun things high school students get to do.

Drake himself never blamed Dan for anything that happened to him because Dan himself didn't do anything to him it was Brian Peck who did it in the documentary he says Dan was one of the first people to call him and ask how he was. However Dan did do many horrible demeaning things to other people in his vicinity while working together that he should be called out for and while Josh may have never realized or even witnessed how bad it was it doesn't justify what happened to those other people. Both stories can be true because thats how predators operate they pick and choose who to go after and Josh was just lucky he never got the bad end of the stick in this situation but for him to sit there and negate these things because it didn't happen to him personally is gross.
I am more worried that Josh has normalized the behavior like some people who are abused (like Drake) but also the ones who are around abuse (like children who grow up in a DV house). This is the problem with discussing abuse, if you asked pointed question of some one who is not ready to talk about it , you are going to get guarded answers or even trigger somebody. I think we would have gotten a better understanding of how Josh view his time at Nickelodeon if he was asked "Do you want to talk about the Documentary or Dan?'.

Josh’s more successful career, association with other SA offenders and reactions to this stuff in the past just shows he’s always been on their side
FYI, abusers specially pick out their victims based on who they think is “easy” (not in the sexual definition, but it terms of simplicity) and won’t tell anyone. Abusers use their authority over the victim to groom and make their crime unnoticeable to others, often including the victim in that as well. To deny that anyone has been abused, is morally wrong. Abusers are never obvious, and are pretty good at hiding what they’re doing. The most successful abusers are the ones that seem like regular people. What Josh should be doing is denying that he was assaulted and saying he supports claims from those who have. He’s made fun of both drake and Jeanette, neither of whom stand to gain a thing from speaking up about abuse (most victims are criticized and treated like they were the abusers. Victims go through a lot just for speaking up, including society’s needs for sexual abuse to have proof or else it’s “not real”).
Victims should always be believed. There are very few people who make truly false claims, and even fewer of those people are free from mental health issues or trauma. None of the Nickelodeon kids stand to gain anything from speaking up against Dan. It’s not like they’re going to get millions or become a-list stars. The ones speaking up are the ones who have generally exited Hollywood and no longer work as actors.

Many of dans interests in the show (like the feet jokes) could have been used as jokes to hide his actual behavior (inserting fetishes as a joke makes an actual crime seem less believable).
