This show has a way of making every character shine. Ive watched this show about 50 time and I still dont have a favorite.

Asahi roaring SUGAAAAAA is one of the most emotional moments in the anime, without a doubt

This is my favorite episode. This is where I fell for this anime. This is where I got hooked. I binged the whole S1 in a day after this episode.

I’ve watched through this show many times now, and the first few times this episode didn’t do much emotionally to me. But more and more it’s becoming one of my favorites. In fact that whole sequence with Asahi jumping with everyone behind him and blasting through the block is probably in my top 5 haikyuu moments nowadays.
We don’t blame you! Asahi learning to not only believe in himself but in his teammates was beautiful.
The character development and relationships are top on this show. You can't help but love everyone and it's only getting better the further we go 💚
At some point or another, each and every one of us possesses an Asahi character within us.
Our ability to do our best for the rest is something that those you care about rely on. One that you don't want to let them down, but you keep failing at it, and it's pushed you to the point where you're on the verge of giving up.
It is valuable that we have other people to remind us that we are not fighting the battles of life by ourselves.

Man, years later. I still get choked up at this moment😭💙. Its so good, and you can tell Asahi was really struggling with his self esteem.
It sucks getting shut down all the time, so his self esteem got totally destroyed as a result. He just needed a good kick in the butt to get back into playing again from his besties❤
