Those turn signals are mounted the opposite way than the ones on my E87. I have the pointed end forward, and that is the way the indentation in the body panel shows me it should be. Thanks for the rest of the information, it was of great help!
Not a bad alternative to OEM replacements which are usually pretty costly! Personally though, I do prefer the original units, and if at some point they do start to show signs of weathering, normal car polish/cleaner is normally enough to freshen them up. If they are looking as bad as the ones you removed from your car, then you can always try a more abrasive compound like Brasso (brass/metal polish), but I would suggest carefully removing them from the car before doing this in order to prevent possible damage to the car's paint, and it's easier to do if off the car. Back this particular replacement part - at least it does appear to be of decent quality build and fits correctly, have heard and seen some that don't fit correctly and either have to be modified, or worse, glued in place!

I’ve watched a lot of your videos for updates on my e90 bmw. I be done the same side lights and angle eyes. What do you recommend for fog light replacement bulb so I don’t get codes on dash?

Decided to upgrade those on my '13 E70 and those I got from China were good expect for the metal springs, it didn't fit. Was able to recycle the springs from the stock ones.
I got these same lights but in white LED light instead of yellow amber LED. Both look good I just wanted to let folks know there are two color choices for this.
Do you seal the indicator lenses before putting them back in as the original ones have a kind of weather strip around them to stop water getting behind them? If so what did you use? Thanks And these videos are ace by the way! Massive help. 👍

Tbh it didn’t make a huge difference for me, I had replaced it when my fuel pump went bad, but I did get a noticeable 1-2mpg difference. And yeah the interval is around 30-40k miles

However it now has 162,000 miles (most are mine) and I can tell the transmission is getting old. Have you gone through this issue yet and how many miles are you at?
Hey Justin! I need some help. I switched my markers out awhile ago and when I did my passenger side harness was in bad shape and not working. I’ve forgot about it until now and I need help finding that wiring harness so I can splice in a new connector and have a fully operating side marker again. Do you have any idea where I can find one?
Love how they look, but is there a way to make the side marker blinking sync with the front turn signal? I noticed after you installed the led it blinked slightly quicker than the front bulb did when the turn signal was on
I think it's an issue of LED's vs the incandescent light on the front turn signal. The LED is instant on whereas the front turn signal has a filament that has to warm up. An easy fix would be to just upgrade the turn signal to LED as well.
thx for the vid, you just made me buy black/w smoked lens 5 series F10 style side markers for my titansilber e92. I had them on my E60 and they looked great, let's see how they do on an e92. I was doubting, but just now bit the bullet

It has the rubber seal. It’s black instead of grey on the OEM one. They will flicker during the bulb check, but you can use a tool like Carly to code it out.

is there a set interval for replacing it? my car only has 89,000 miles and it's getting decent mpg right now. I get around 22-23 mpg, all city driving
Im not quite sure but its max life is around 35k miles and it makes a difference when changed

For guys with updated pre-lci models, like my 2008, the side marker slides to one side and pops out.
