I now only have multiples of things with different colours like eyeshadow, blush and lipstick. But I only really need one bronzer, primer, foundation etc
Ok seriously I also wore way more makeup in the last 6 months at home too! I’m a grad student and when I’m in the lab I don’t have time to put makeup on just to sweat it off under my mask/ respirator/ goggles so at least I’m not the only one 😅
It's great that you don't force yourself to finish anything! I'm so happy this is catching on with larger influencers, because I think after all the over consumption that occured (and is still happening) over the years - it's a wake up call. It's especially overwhelming when PR samples come into the mix.
Love your updates! Project panning is such a great idea as the makeup world seems to definitely be trending towards the world of “fast makeup” like “fast fashion”

I’ve loved your project pan videos in the past year (along with everything else you’ve worked on!) and you’ve grown so much in the past year and it really shows in your videos! I can’t believe that it’s been a whole year! I’m close to one year of project panning as well because you inspired me to start mine! I don’t have as many products as you, but I use my project pan to finish older products and products that I’m not as interested in, so that I can by new ones. An example is my moisturizer, I have so many small travel sized moisturizers because my aunt used to work at Clinique, so I’m finishing most of them, then buy the FAB coconut water cream! I’ve been eyeing it for over a year now, but it would be a waste of my other moisturizers. I love them too, but I really wanted to try the FAB one haha
A good way to keep track of progress on things you can’t see through is to weigh them! I recently purchased a cheap kitchen scale and have been weighing everything in my project pan. I love being able to see the progress on all my things! ☺️
@@j.uuuuudy It shows faster than you’d think! I just weighed mine after a two week period and I didn’t do so well in using my products, but I still had a difference in weight! 😊

Great progress! I'm sort of doing a whole collection panning project. I'm focusing on finishing minis, samples and older cream/liquids, but I'm also randomly shopping my stash and decluttering as I go. So far I've moved out 211 cosmetic/hygiene products in this way - this is including lots of skin and hair care samples, eyeshadow pans, brushes, etc. The only trouble is I've brought in almost the same amount - 206 I've tried doing dedicated project pans but I can't focus on any one thing consistently, so my best hope of reducing is by buying less, which, has actually happened between last year and this year. Hopefully by next year I'd have cut my spending down to one or two things every couple of months, but use up the same amount. It's a process...

I always forget that as a US viewer, our seasons are flipped :'( my skin gets so dry in the winter, hope your eyes are okay haha. speaking of winter, do you have like a "winter faves" product video? like anything from moisturizers and hydrating makeup to cute accessories like hats and scarves!

For longest to pan, you forgot the 7 year old ABH brow powder 😂 Anyways, I loved watching your project and it inspired me to casually casually pan. I finally hit pan on my bronzer from the Balm (1.5 years regular use), my Jcat Aquasurance powder foundation pan is widening, same with my Colourpop Lunch money, finished my Ordinary Serum foundation, and my Essence The False Lashes Extreme Volume and Curl mascara. Thanks for inspiring me.
For loose powder in that sort of packaging, I've seen people shake the powder at an angle into one corner and mark that way, since the base of the container is so wide it's hard to mark progress near the end.

I love project pans. If you still want the mascara or eye primer you could track usage on those products.

Do u use your hemish primer as a sunscreen on its own?
i use it as a primer and go in my sunscreen in my skincare routine!
