A couple fun notes: The MC clearly tried to block the lance, since their bat gets knocked behind them. Also, the lance that we get is the same one Cocolia impales us with. So canonically, as far as anyone else could tell, we get stabbed in through the chest, and then proceed to rip the weapon out, and use it to beat the person who stabbed us.
So MC is literally Dante from Devil May Cry series
Given that the lance we get is a long-lost relic every native would recognize from illustrations and stories as belonging to the first Supreme Guardian, I'd assume Cocolia made a copy of it out of ice and we received the real one from its proper owners. (She could have been hiding the original all this time, I suppose, but there's no reason to.)

@@DanaOtken No, it's the same lance. Prior to this whole situation, the only thig that could control the engine of Creation *was* the Architect's lance. Most likely due to the fact that it wasn't actually finished, so it didn't need a proper control function beyond that. Besides, why wouldn't Cocolia, that Supreme Guardian, have the lance that is the symbol of the Supreme Guardian. It would make sense that it would be in her possession, as it's passed from Guardian to Guardian as a tradition in Belobog. And, more than likely, we'll be expected to pass it on to Bronya, or her successor after we have moved on from it.
@@nemasisdemarini8339 That's a decent hypothesis, and I haven't seen anything directly contradicting it, but I also haven't seen any support for either that the lance itself was critical to the Engine of Creation either obeying somebody who was clearly identifiable at the start of the fight as Cocolia (and she'd been there before plenty of times) and changing sides after she was clearly remade as an agent of the Antimatter Legion and her opponents invokied the name of the Preservation, or that everybody believing the lance disappeared with Alisa Rand and no subsequent Supreme Guardian could find it (we've heard this multiple times from multiple sources) was all a lie to hide that all of Rand's successors were secretly hoarding it for no clear reason. It is NOT the weapon you see Cocolia using when she's fighting as her earlier self.
Presumably they would like you to leave it to them in your will, but like that Curio you used before I would expect it'll just find its own way back should the time come.

My first experience with Honkai: Star Rail is that there's this character named Natasha and that she's an Underworld Doctor because I'm going to feel sick if I see her again
And yet that's not the worst mobile game ad I've seen.
That ad genuinely almost kept me from playing the game in the first place, it made me go insane.
Don't remind me.
It's kind of funny how the theoretical point of an advertisement is to make you want to buy/use the product, and then mobile games roll up with ads like this that tend to do the exact opposite.

It brings literal tears to my eyes seeing people experience Wildfire for the first time.
I sincerely want to make music that moves people like how the whole orchestral and rock build up and release that Wildfire does.
Even knowing it was coming my first time playing this fight I still got chills and got so surprised. Watching is one thing, playing this part was a whole other experience
I hate seeing the people who play in 2X because it desyncs it with the cutscene or when people break her so they never hear it at all (especially the latter)
Edit: based on that second occurrence I feel like that attack should be uninterruptible the first time or lock her toughness bar the first time

@@apossiblyhereticalalphaleg3595 idk but I've seen some people who's characters were so fast they broke her and never heard Wildfire cause she never got the attack off
@@dinopower901 it takes a very specific team, like ruan mei/xueyi (on crack)/bronya to be able to break her in one cycle i feel. and this is not a team a person who's just finishing belobog will have or be likely to run, so i feel like you might've watched people re-run cocolia in one turn, specially since you said she never got the attack off once (from my understanding), which means she got killed in 3 or so cycles.

I know nothing about this game, but Sampo's VA deserves all the kudos. Naturally hilarious and mischievous at the same time. Honestly, everyone deserves praise, including the side/bit characters. Great voice direction.

Hi Shen, thanks to Akane telling me you were getting into this game about a month ago, I got back into it after not playing for almost 6 months.
I now have an E1 Acheron (Aiming for E2) and I have been on a binge of almost everything Star Rail. Glad to be back on this ride again.

i started playing this game immediately after watching your first video of HSR, and since i finished the Belobog arc already, i was glad to be able to watch this video too! watching the final sequence/fight again made me so hype and cry even tho i already knew it was coming!! it's so good, i'm glad you're loving it too. great editing choice to let the music come forward at the end and play out with no commentary or combat audio, like a sick fight montage in a movie. fucking phenomenal stuff, i hope you keep playing! the next arc is super cool with a beautiful environment to explore, i wish i could make more progress with it but i've hit a level wall atm. hopefully i'll break through before your next video (and i REALLY HOPE there's a next video!! please keep playing!)

In the ending scene of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, one of the protagonists not only wears a wedding ring in presence of her fiancee who I think also had one, but her index and middle fingers Nails were clipped. Fun little detail.
