VERY impressed with this one DD, I think it's the first aquatic drone I've seen that genuinely seems worth the price. 🤔👌🏼 Looking forward to the ocean test, that should really prove how good it is at holding its depth & attitude.
This was the only consumer UOV that got me excited. Having it locked in on its sides will be useful manuevering in tight spaces. I look forward to seeing how it performs in the real world. Thanks for the overview!

This has to be the BEST sea drone ever, if I lived in an area of clear water I'd buy a canoe (sea version) and do tons of wreck diving. Epic video one of best. (mainly because of this product) Cheers

I seen a review on this QYSea FIFISH V6 . It was on RC Sparks channel. He lost a Drone in his lake to. His Lake is Big and it was muddy when he moved fast the motors would stir up the mud and it still had a OK video with the lights on. Can't wait to see how it will look in the ocean. His Drone was a DJI Phantom Vision 2 lost it 4 yrs ago. Its not a bad price.

It has some issues with control but they say they fixed it. I still need to test the updated version soon 🍻

Well, the flying ones are breaking me up, now they had to go and make something that might actually be worth getting, lots of deep clear lakes out there, ocean would be cool, but you could wear one of those out and never leave fresh water I’m thinking, as I don’t live near any coast. Some abandoned rock quarries I would like to see what’s at the bottom of too! I wonder which federal agency will want to restrict and regulate these? Bet get one and enjoy it before someone sinks a ship with one or something else that will bring the heat. Awesome review and pool test, will be looking for the ocean test. Subbed and hit the bell!

That's has impressive control levels With that pitch lock searching the bottom without disturbing the sediment should be much easier

Aloha Dustin, have had my V6 for two weeks now. Love it! Awesome job on your reviews, will look forward to your ocean test. I did have to get a Oneplus phone to run this guy it wants LOTS of RAM, my Samsung phone was overheating. Will keep you posted on fresh water use as I live on a lake in Georgia and the visibility is surprisingly good. Working on some camera setting and so far so good!

I fired mine up, it dove to the bottom listing and the props got clogged with seaweed. Tech support has taken weeks to respond 1 email at a time. Now the last email was send a video of the problem and the serial number of the controller. The next better not be, did you turn it one? or was it charged? lol.
Hi, great review. We are considering using this ROV to look inside culverts (steel pipes and concrete boxes). I was wondering your opinion on being able to hold it straight "up" (too look at the 'ceiling') and straight "down" (to look at the 'floor') for extended periods of time. I noticed in your next review it could roll in Sport Mode, but could it stop and hold steady?
Also, what is your opinion on durability in water with debris (timber, rocks, floating weeds, etc.)?
Yes it can hold any orientation quite well. Durability is to be determined.
You live on Maui right? If you do a good video would be I lost my quad in the Maalaea yacht harbor. You could use the underwater drone to get it. If you are interested you can message me back. Great content. Keep up the good work!!
That would be a great challenge. I've got another sub coming with a grabber arm soon. We'll try to locate it and pull it up with the arm. 👍
