FANTASTIC REVIEW!!! Thanks for sharing! Crossbone Gundam was never on my list of "must have" Gundams, but after watching this review I have even less desire to get him. Not that he looks bad or anything, but there are so many other awesome MGs I want to get first.
great review i just found this gundam and you just made me wanna buy it for sure this is the 3rd video i have seen made by you and i am enjoying them allot i like how you are describing everything just awesome and helpful
i would cry tears of joy if bandai released a mg v and v2 gundam. hopefully theyll revisit gundams that deserve the mg treatment and the 2.0 treatment only ones i can think of off the top of my head are hyakushiki, and definitely this one.
Thanks for the detailed review! Despite Crossbone's weak points, it's hard not to love because it just looks so cool...and as you said, you really can't go wrong with a pirate gundam!
Very nice detailed review. I have this Full-Cloth and Musha Gundam this Christmas and they are going to be my very first MGs ^_^ I love the idea and the size of these guys (especially since the cloth adds a lot of bulk). It's just a shame that the solidarity is compromised because of it. Still want to make an X-2 though.
i just bought that hg because i just watched that anime and it looked cool as hell... i was thinking of getting this mg, but it looks even more of a nightmare to pose than the hg
I noticed that you didn't put the beam saber storage racks up when you docked the core fighter. Also you forgot the beam saber handles. I thought about getting the full cloth but I figure that I'll stay with normal Crossbone. Wish the other two Crossbones would come out.
nice review man. i have one question, what marker are you using on panel lines, and the parts that you supposed to put lines?? is that the fine one?? or the ultra fine that comes with the set??
@cloudwannabe5089 I have the Ver. Ka. and I recommend it because even though it lacks some of the weapons like the Full Clothe armor and the beam shield, the joints are solid like F91's, it has two chest plates for the X-1 and the X-1 Kai, and it has an actual cloth for the Anti-Beam Coating. The downsides include loose index fingers and the pistons in the feet do not fit into the socket they should fit into. Overall rating 4 stars out of 5.
Just built this today lmao so basically mines is great it’s not loose or anything size is actually not bad tbh I expected it to be smaller 😂💀 however 2 gripes~ cant hold its weapons for the life of me but just the big sword and giant gun and also the front armor flaps r hella easy to fall off so def recommend being careful ~ overall recommend it to anyone it’s not that bad to build either but yeah def have coloring this thing looks kinda plain but even then it’s bad ass lol okay so yeah def recommend this kit it’s amazing 🔥🔥👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Actually Crossbone is 15.9 meters in height as opposed to the victory's 15. That's why it's a head taller. also i think the old Victory is a non scale 1/100 isn't it?
Ok, maybe this was just mine but if you are going to get this model, I would SERIOUSLY reconsider. At first it looked fucking awesome but EVERYTHING, is flimsy as hell, when you try and cut it out of the trees and when you put it together, things break. Easily. Its a pain in the ass to get it to stand up, the limbs are connected only barely and adding heavy ass swords are really going to keep it stuck together. The Crossbow itself is too hard for me to put on. The fullarmour knocks pieces off.
Is being unstable/loose common among master grade? I have a mg sengoku astray that is very loose (but that might be because its my first and only gunpla)
No. The X1 is loose because it's an old kit. Newer kits are quite solid. In fact there are kits that are so stiffs that you feel you're gonna break them by just moving the joints (I'm looking at you Seed RMs).
The hg one is not the best but is serviceable it need a shit ton of paint but it’s not that bad, better than some others of the same line(star winning winning fumina)
I wanna get the hg because I fucking love the crossbone gundams but I don't really like build fighters. What's the different on the hgbf gundam? From what I saw the inside of the cloth needs to be red to be more like the original but what else does it need?
I'm pretty new to the world of gunpla, but that core fighter gimmick gets me sold every time! Such a cool detail.

dude you'e really progressed from your old review up to now.
@Geoxile Granted that the Crossbone Gundam is one of the smaller MSs out there.
7 years later the Crossbone Gundam Full Cloth finally has an hg kit but as a build fighters kit.
but its some what the same tho
i just bought that hg because i just watched that anime and it looked cool as hell... i was thinking of getting this mg, but it looks even more of a nightmare to pose than the hg
awesome review of this kit...can barely find one on youtube

cant wait for the build fighters 1/144 version
When I move up to MG, I am going with this one.
Just a warning, you need super glue for this kit
nice review man. i have one question, what marker are you using on panel lines, and the parts that you supposed to put lines?? is that the fine one?? or the ultra fine that comes with the set??
At least you can fit his weapons in his hand.
The sword you displayed it with falls out of his hand everytime. same with the cool looking crossbow.
The core fighter does look really cool.

Do you recommend this or the Crossbone Ver. Ka?
In terms of tighter parts, neglecting the addition of more accesories.
does anyone know where i can read the manga to it? just pm me.
im going to buy one of these pretty soon. could u possibly do review on the crossbone gundam mangas ?
it seems that full cloth was not intended for atmospheric use so it sheds the cloth on re-entry
You recommended the real touch red marker for the red lining on the gundam head. Is it a fine point marker or what?
if you want, painting it removes the looseness.

who would have thought id be holding the HG crossbone full cloth
+CaptainROXAS Do You Mean The HGBF One ?
Ok, maybe this was just mine but if you are going to get this model, I would SERIOUSLY reconsider. At first it looked fucking awesome but EVERYTHING, is flimsy as hell, when you try and cut it out of the trees and when you put it together, things break. Easily.

sorry, may you able to make this re review this with you new quality camera and lightning? i really like your style when reviewing a MS/gundam :)
no
The love the design of this gundam but the model is loose as hell. This model sersiously needs a 2.0.
so heres a question for u rrobbert 184 so whats ur personal favorite gundam
Does it include an stand?
is the yellow part on the cloth stickers???
Bob Bread nope
aw yis thx for info,,
crossbone gundam is actually 15.9 meters tall. so basically 16m. so it is a little taller thatn v gundam
How old is the V dash MG? It looks like it was made in the 90s. Very blocky.
Should i get X-1 Ver.Ka or X-1 Full Cloth?
O.o My corefighter isn't loose at all.....
Didn't like the high grade version because it was so tiny bit how big is the 1/100 X1?
soo many paint and lining to do...

considering that they did the gundam thunderbolt I would think they would just because of its popularity
so which gundam marker gm 404 or gm 03
I really like the full cloth but I can seem to find one.where can I find one?
Hobby Link Japan (dot) com hlj.com
seems like the HGBF one will be way better

Nice

honestly not sure, but there is no distinction since a new p bandai version was released according to the original and i cant find a single thing lol
I think if chuck this thing over a lake, ( which I think no one will) it will possibly sink in no time lol
I wish they'd do a 2.0 of this o .o
They would probably do it if they animate Crossbone GUNDHAM manga
