I'd really love it if someday we could see Superman in this suit here, meet John Wesley Shipp's Jay Garrick Flash... In my mind, those are the two most symbolic characters of Golden Age comic books.
Right?! If Superman does a crossover with Stargirl; I feel like the Fleischer suit is the best one and would fit that Earth 2’s retro look.
@@okami4517 Well, if Superman does a crossover with Stargirl, then I agree with you 100% (the Fleischer suit is the one to see on Stargirl). But a Jay Garrick & Superman team up would not be dependent on Stargirl. It could happen on the Flash, or Jay Garrick could be a guest on Superman and Lois (in flashbacks, or in the present).
This is peak superman. I love this so much.
weak* lol
He IS the Superman fans deserve and the on we need right now!
Damn right
Felt like I was watching a movie !! Show is amazing ! I did have my doubt about Tyler H. But he has won me over as the man of steel ! The writers are A1 !
This show is better then it should be being in the CW. I hope this is a move in the right direction for the channel
It's because the budget is way higher than any CW show being Superman, the VFX team is the same as HBO Max shows I believe.
@@MrCoombzy same vfx team as Man of Steel apparently
@@kerrodjohnson5098 As far as I can tell, that's a rumor, and a lie. Weta Digital was the head VFX studio for MoS and COSA VFX are behind S&L.
Let's hope it says that way and they don't lower the budget or change the writing or one of the writers, producers, showrunners gets cancelled by Crybabies on Twitter
I hope it doesn't become Mediocre after 2 seasons like the rest of The CW shows like The Flash and Arrow
Imagine if he said "Hi my name's Clark."
I thought he was nearly gonna say that 🤣

Loved every single moment of this past episode. Best Superman/Lois show in a very, very long time. I loved my Smallville, I grew up with Smallville. But this show just takes the layers of what Smallville established and brings it up to a exciting new level that is so Superman/Lois Lane...RUclips needs to start doing animated emotions. Because I'm so happy to watch this show, I love it!!!
That’s quality content there CW HBO MAX don’t listen to WB they’ll fop you over
They should let all DC CW shows being made by HBO Max, nuff said
@@Spidey-oi5sn yes
@@Spidey-oi5sn HBO Max has better writing scripts than Warner Bro’s with their corny ass jokes
Like WB doesn’t understand the usage of when to stop with the jokes which is why the Snyder cut was more successful because of it’s darker tone
@@MBJ829 darker tone doesn’t make anything objectively better. Superman & Lois isnt dark and it’s been fantastic. DC fans just have this weird fetish for dark and brooding like everything is supposed to be Batman or something.
Love how Lois had one eye on superman and the other on, whoever that fire guy was.
1:34 The Indian Flag....wow... 😘😘
At some point, I have to stop watching these clips and sit down and stream the show from the beginning. The acting, the writing, the sheer understanding of the characters' very concepts/personalities are off the charts. This is the level of thought and approach usually reserved for movies.
"...I'm sure you'll come up with something." (Flies away)
Guy with broom: "Who was that?"
Lois: "...Mr. Soap."
I’m really impressed
I love how at first people have said Tyler was the worst Superman and now he has become one of the best
this episode was so well done
Bad guy: Even you can’t save all of them
Superman: *laughs in laser eyes*
Why didn't that grenade explode when it got hit by the heat vision?
This show has no business been this good on CW. Please do not do any crossovers with the arrowverse characters. This show must stand alone. This is too good to be part of the arrowverse. This is the Kentverse. I have just created the new term. This is the KENTVERSE. Holyshit there has never been this adaption of Superman at all. The story is very rich here and we can relate to this show because it is not shoving woke crap down our throats.
Hate to break it to you but based on the trailer for the next episode John Diggle is showing up.
@@whatupmyasian I actually would like a crossover with Black Lightning. It is the only Arrowverse show (except early-seasons' Arrow) that I still like lol
@@whatupmyasian yeah, the show was good while it lasted, I have a bad feeling that it'll start going down the drain from the next episode
@@whatupmyasian yep, I know. I am hoping the crossover stops there. This show works well on its own just like Arrow season 1 worked well on its own before Flash been introduced ruined Arrow. Unfortunately the show will probably start to go downhill with the introduction of Diggle, just like when Barry was introduced in Arrow. It was good while it lasted though.
This comment did not age well 😭😭 john diggle comin back bruh 💀
This was the best episode yet
Love the Fleischer suit.
Whew he is just so FINE god DAMN
Love the flashback scenes love the reference of Clark wearing his black emblem and fighting nazis
I lol'd at seeing that Pyro wannabe get taken down by a taser.

I like how Superman's suit is also invincible which his mother made it for him 😂
SUPERMAN BABY
It was great seeing the 1940s suit again only got to see if for a few seconds first episode love these flashbacks.
Wow Indians in Superman and Lois.......Amazing....
Dude this guy is a better super man than cavil ever was ngl. Tbh igs not cavils wrong he was just poorly written in man of steel imho.
Better than Reeves I think
cavils figure is way better for superman then tyler
This show is amazing, it just keeps getting better and better, who’s the script writer!
I love how the suit that his mom made for him literally resisted a grenade explotion like nothing
He held it in his hands if u watched it closely. Besides Superman has that ability to never have damaged clothes anyways
Superman's bio electrical aura extends far enough to protect his thin lairs of clothing.
Tell us you don't read Superman comics without telling us you don't read Superman comics.
@@kerrodjohnson5098 Indeed, but I said that in a logical way, but everybody knows he can't damage his clothes, as well how his glases works. Chill fan boy lul
@@CodenamePrince I'll also add that Superman can extend this aura not just to his own clothing, but to objects and vehicles like planes and even buildings, which is how he can do iconic saves without worrying too much about applying force evenly so as to not break things he's holding or lifting. He can also use this aura on people, which is how he can fly/run with people at high speed without them dying from whiplash. He has even used it to save a space exploration shuttle from being consumed by a solar flare on the Sun's surface which is kinda insane.
This suit looks miles better than the one the regular one he uses on the show, those fake details just gets on my nerves
Damn this scene is epic and awesome and funny
As a kid watching the cartoon from the 1940s in the 80s on VHS shows like this warms my heart.
The cgi is so real looking😏
Zack Snyder: NOOO, he should have let her die! He can’t let people know he has powers!! He can’t save everyone! 🤬😡😡
huh
The difference here is he is wearing his suit and they don't know him
@@reversebonezzz1451 snyder hates superman and did a terrible job of putting him on the big screen. he created a superman who was a psychopath who hated saving people whenever he could even be bothered to try and just let people die indirectly through both his actions and his inaction.

I don't know what's Zach Snyder problem is with superman.
@@ge2719 ohhh ok thanks for clearing that up
I hope everyone knows that a taser does sting you but doesn't shut you down completely. You can recover in a bout a minute after being stung vs a stun gun/ pepper stray which hurts way longer.

Kinda wild how Todd heilberg is directing this. And flash tanked after he left lol
Flash is so bad now it's actually starting to make me depressed. I've nvr seen a show get so bad after being so good in my life

Wish We had more clips of this episode, by the Way Is this the opening scene?
Its the middle of the episode
The one was when Clark Kent had flash backs of his life from childhood to parenthood for about 20 or so minutes
Ok I’m here after the finale of Season 3 where he looked at Lois, but instead of hope, it was desperation and knowing he was about to sacrifice himself for her. Amazing
