The guy who made those pieces is called Tim Hunkin. He had his own TV show called "The Secret Life of Machines" and has another machine room on a beach pier.
He's an awesome guy, incredibly creative. He also has a book, I forget the name but its full of interesting things and fun ideas, and he was partly responsible for the Rube Goldberg machine that has footage on display in the Science Museum. Also, the pier has a clock designed by him, it's in Southwold, Suffolk. His wife is a puppeteer and friend of my mums, a really lovely couple :)
What a badass museum. Being a mechanical technician, and living and breathing my trade, as well as being a musician, I love these types of places. I love when people can take what’s often thought of as lifeless machinery and turn it into something that strikes the core of others. Amazing, incredible, and beautiful

I work 2 minutes from here. There are some great machines in the museum, you won't spend long in there but the novelty factory is sky high. Great date location. Took a girl there on a third date and ended up marrying her. The hypnosis machine in there might have helped after all....
Kirby was, in the words of Bob Ross, "a happy accident". Kirby wasn't meant to be the main character in the game. Kirby wasn't meant to be a character at all. He was just a temporary placeholder sprite so that the devs could do some early game testing. The devs ended up loving that little pink blob though, so they kept him around. So, due to technicality, I am forced to agree that Kirby isn't art. Adorable, but not art.
