Lost Ark is one of the best game shops i've been to. Lived in the city during college and took too long to start going. Staff was always nice, and their art is always recognizable at any convention or event.

I completely agree. The only ding is pricing, but the selection is so good that I don’t mind. It’s definitely world class from all my game stores I’ve been to.

🙏🏼 thank you. I’m having fun making ridiculously over produced intros. It lets me keep my animation skills sharp.

Funny seeing you go through NC, as that’s where I grew up :)
Been to lost ark a lot in college, and it was such a cool store! The prices made it a bit difficult as a broke college kid, but their selection is truly unmatched

That was my feeling. It was highly priced. But I don’t think I’ve seen msx games or a copy of air zonk anywhere. Cool store. Cooler if you’ve got cheddar to spend. 😅

Greensburo? Seemed like a cool spot, or Asheville? Also cool spot

@@ThePaulWeber Asheville. I've only visited Greensboro once despite living in NC all my life. I think Greensboro is a nice spot though

Great stores! I really need to get to that limited run retail in Cary. It’s only a 3hr drive for me. I keep seeing folks going there and I’m getting jelly!

It’s something you could do in 1-2 hours too, like a pitstop on the way to Florida. But worth the drive. I got so many games

Hey Paul. There's this one retro store in the mall in Manchester, CT that you might like. I forgot the name but there were a lot of old games. Also Replay'd in Allston, Massachusetts is a nice store to check out too.

State line video games. It’s neat, I’ve only been to the one store. I like that mall, I can never fully comprehend whether it’s a successful or failing mall

@@ThePaulWeber I find the mall successful imo. Plenty of people and diverse shops and a huge sprawling food court. I don't know if you went to the mall in Waterbury, but it is definitely empty! So many empty shops and barely enough people.

I hope you were able to visit Mr. Robot in Canton, NC. They have a whole video game museum in the attic. Totally easy to get lost in there for a few hours.

It’s a city, but what I’m saying if I hadn’t been seeking out Lost Ark, it’s likely I would never have had a reason to go by that area.
