I wish Warframe had more missions with high enemy density. Most of these builds will feel terrible outside Steel Path survival

Hard agree. I mean just look at how many frames literally *require* high enemy density, and DE refuses to give it to us outside of like, level cap-type things.
Gyre, kullervo, nidus, ember, chroma, atlas, the list could go on 😢

Are you sure that Catalyzing Shield is not all or nothing? I was under the impression that it puts back the binary 0.33/1.33 seconds of the old shield gate.
Yep! It keeps the scaling gate even with the mod, and the binary gating is permanently gone on all forms of shield gating now.

If I understand right, main shields reduced but over shield gives longer shield gate bonus even tho Shields reduced. Making for better max gating?

Just on time. I recently did a few Equinox builds. Time to see how my build compares.
My day build builds into power strength for pillage. Then I can cast rage and instantly kill anything in the game and get my shields back. No need for rolling guard as pillage cleanses status effects and you're usually killing things fast enough for shield gating to work well enough.
My night form has empowered blades aura which pairs fairly well with mend, giving an extra 1.6x damage on DOTs by heavy attacks (or tennokai) attacks. I run roar as well but I've been thinking about a few different ones. I do like the precision intensify idea on your night build. I might have to think about running that.
Time to give Equinox some use

I took one of your previous builds for her but put Gloom on over the first, not once had an issue with energy count, everyone I kill tends to drop orbs since Equilibrium is always a must with her

It's funny, I've been messing with equinox night form recently aswell. I don't really like the slow augment on pacify because it messes with cordon. With cordon and dagger strip, the highest I've gotten is 196 kpm

im not good with warframe builds but wouldnt expidite suffering help you stack maim very quickly? You can use it for quick nuke builds rather than staying in maim for a long time.

Dont use fragin key, use adaptation and umbral vitality, tank damage, but most importantly, put on silence, it turns equinox into the perfect infested frame, you wont have to worry about building up your 3 back up if you die cuz you wont die

I recently discussed this build in your Discord, I wonder if the idea to remake this build came from there.... Anyway, thanks for build. And also, isnt nourish will be good here too, instead of roar? It will open 1 slot for modding and alleviate energy needs with deafult 100 energy efficiency, and it allows to shield gate every nourish cast with 4 augur mods(2 in frame and 2 in secondary)

Ok... I feel like I need a PhD to get all this. I'm just trying to play and enjoy the game. Also... 99% of the content and players in this game don't require even 1/3 of all this power to handle everything and anything.
i want Equinox to be good, i have a few ideas, one is a crazy build using Diriga and Voruna's ability. Everytime someone lists off things that would cause your abilities to "drop" no one mentions the acolytes themselves. Unless it's literally just one of them that does it. Stalker and [one of] the acolytes have the ability to shut off your abilities. If you have one on timer it's still going, but your unable to recast. This is how most frames "fail" is because your abilities are shut off. The only way around this is to use Silence. And i'm not sure how i feel about running Silence on Equinox though it's not a bad idea.
Maybe it's just me, but running anything less than max range leaves equinox ineffective, though not using Cunning Drift would be ok.
Yeah you're thinking of Violence. The other way around his Silence is to simply just stay out of its range, iirc its base range lv3, so it's just 20m which is easy enough to stay away from if you use any ranged methods to kill them, outside of times when he spawns right next to you and immediately casts it...but just running or bullet jumping in a straight direction for a few secs before he spawns avoids it in my exp.

U can blind and cc violence and u can keep ur distance but it is a very effective way
Why would anyone use this build ? This build looks like a mesa with helminthed regulators to dps with pradoes , why wouldnt anyone use a tank frame if youre gonna dps with weapons the whole point of equinox is ... well not this ...
1. Mesa subsuming off Regulators are actual real Mesa builds. There are quite a lot of those floating around. And they do in fact destroy everything, frequently better than Regulators can. You don’t need tank frames to dps with weapons. Saryn is not a tank frame, and is most commonly known for weapon dps, instead of ability dps.
2. What are you going to do with Night form equinox otherwise? Not use it? Doesn’t seem like “the whole point of equinox,” does it?

DE needs to rework Equinox a little or more , she is such a unique frame and i really want to play her but she really isn't high level or endurance viable. I really want to use her entire kit (day and night form both) , please DE do some rework to Equinox and atleast give her at least a defence strip or something.
