Thank you, Shinichi--it was fun to see this Disney park (which I didn't know existed😆). Sorry the weather was inclement and the food was less than stellar, but it made for an interesting video. Yeah, Satoshi's "Reuben" was really a NOT-Reuben. 😂 No sauerkraut and Russian dressing, no Reuben. And, what was that lettuce leaf doing there? 🤣 Love to you both. ❤❤
With paying Disney prices their food better be memorable. And I'm glad you ended the night on a more happier note. Hate that it rained the whole day, if you go to the other park I hope you have better weather and better food. Safe travels. 😊
Actually we are just begging for you to visit Tokyo Disneyland next. We are huge Disney Theme Park buffs and love to see anything from there. Any video from you about this topic is a must to us and a guaranteed watch!
Thank you both for taking us on this magical tour of Tokyo Disney Sea. Please don’t apologize if you were behind on editing this video. I’m just so grateful to be taken on a tour of this magical place at Christmas. I’m so sorry that it started out so rainy and cold. I’m just glad that it cleared up towards the end. I always love to see the different foods and snacks that you both choose. That sausage on the bone……YUM. Was the bone a pretzel? TBH, your dinner did look the best! I’m with you brother, the bread bowl on your gratin did look a bit much. At first, I thought it was a deep dish pizza. 😊 Thank you both again for taking us on one of my bucket list adventures! ❤❤
Great to see you back posting an interesting tour of this Disney Sea Theme Park. I had never heard of it before. Looks nice. I wonder if they omitted the sauerkraut and the Russian dressing to make the Reuben sandwich more appealing to local tastes? 🤔. Thanks for this tour and tastings program. Take care, guys and have an enjoyable week. 🫂❤️🙏🌎🕊
It's safe to say you've got me at the edge of my seat over yet another place I will never see with my own eyes. Very exciting stuff, I absolutely love your videos! Nice and calm, no harsh noises. Just the right amount of well thought out commentary, thoughtful tips and tricks. Thank you, and here's to many more adventures! *edit because I'm astonished by that plain corned beer sandwich! I don't even enjoy sourkraut but it belongs on the sandwich
Seemed like a huge let down, bummer....I agree, you NEVER complain....Funny the one thing I would have though was gross, you liked...lol...that purple sandwich.
I have never found amusement park food to be all that great. Most everything is mass produced and reheated. Only the specialty restaurants are generally good, but so expensive.
Whenever I went to a Disney in LA or Orlando, the food was always so-so. Perhaps that’s the norm in Disneys parks? But since I’m a matcha lover, that match popcorn is something I would like to try😊.
Disney is mostly carnival/street fair food or a few ticks of a slightly higher end sit down restaurant. If you do a character meet and greet eating venue, the price point is for the characters. $$$ Or places that are a one and done (Be Our Guest) If you are not a foodie, and dining is Red Lobster or the very local prime rib joint, Disney is a big deal food wise. If you your daily home is SF, NYC, Boston, Miami or any place with a ton of really good food options, you will be aggravated you paid so much money for meh food. My advice is look at the menus before you go. Pick food that isn't offered in your area. Excellent sushi where you live? Don't eat sushi at Disney unless it's a one and done restaurant. My foodie friends never eat inside sit down at Disney anymore.
The beauty of being a great food critics is to be ture to your taste buds honesty helps them improve their products. Keep up the great work Shinichi 👍.
I literally bust out laughing at that pathetic Reuben sandwich. Try to give that to any New Yorker or any American for that matter.. you would get it thrown back at you. 😂
Hi Shinichi, I like "travelgeek" videos (he is from Japan and his videos are exactly like yours) because of the option to turn off cc. He is the only one I know that have that feature/option. I hate captions cause it is distracting and it blocks the view. Also, I just want to relax and watch the scenes and not be forced to read and then miss out viewing the scenes. Anyway, too bad you don't have that feature as well. When you click on his videos, you can click off the "cc" and it will clear the cc/subtitles. Just a thought. Nevertheless, I love your videos my friend, and your sister Nikki's videos as well.
Sound amazing very cold December Japan food look unique but Delicious ❤too bad I didn’t try Popcorn visiting Japan I love popcorn I’m sure popcorn very good Japan ❤don’t know available Amazon check it out, happy belated Valentine’s day’s thank you invite from California 🙏🏼
If you come from a major foodie area (which you guys do), Disney will always be underwhelming because they shoot for the middle of the road. My cousin (who lives in a semi rural area) would have been thrilled with your plates. But that's because "dinning" by her is Red Loster and Olive Garden. My friends live in SF. Whenever they go to Disney World, they just eat the "fair/carnival" food, and leave the dining to outside the park. Disney prices are not inexpensive, and they are usually underwhelmed with any sit down dining. The bead bowl dish screamed midwest USA to me. Had it been here, it woukd have sold out. I'm not a huge fan of pasta in a bread bowls, but it did look good. And such miserable weather. Sleet snow is no fun.
Awww. I've always wanted to go to Disney Sea, but it's a shame the food wasn't great that month. The heck kind of Reuben is that? it's NOT ONE. Pretty, as everything was, but it the taste is meh... what's the point of spending all that money? ETA: So glad the chicken and camembert was good at least! And the cheesecake, of course. I'd love to see the new items at the other Disney as well.
I kinda do feel like it might be a cycle. Like I cant imagine complaining about food in Japan to a server not like everywhere else. So the food kinda stays safe and kinda the same. OR a lot of prices been going up and they switched a lot of their old ingredients? But either way people had been complaining about the food even before so who knows what did they do lol
They probably removed the sauerkraut and dressing because they think it would be more appealing to a generalized audience I imagine. Saurkraut is a very strong flavor, and it's one of those things that you either like, or really hate a lot of the time. Would explain why so much of the food seemed bland and "safe".
I so appreciate your honesty about the food. I don't expect much from amusement park food, it looks good, but you saved me the money and disappointment in buying some of these food items. Thank you!
I imagine Disney cut corners, like leaving out the sauerkraut and Russian dressing..... and otherwise cutting back on quality. I am not a big amusement park enthusiast, and I am not a fan over their overpriced and often borderline quality.
Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, are the only Disney parks that are not owned or operated by The Walt Disney Company. They are run by a Japanese corporation according to a licensing agreement.
I think you have a right to complain if they advertise a Reuben and give you a corned beef sandwich! There's nothing wrong with a corned beef sandwich, but, if that's what they're selling, that's what they should advertise!
I am so sorry you were disappointed with your food. I imagine it was expensive being in a theme. And then to be disappointed . . . I'm sorry. The purple bread was a little off putting for me. Thank you for the nice video.
That was not a Rueben sandwich. That was a corned beef and Swiss sandwich. The reason a Rueben is a Rueben is because it contains sauerkraut and thousand island or Russian dressing. You got ripped off. 😮😢
I love your videos so much, they're so beautiful and warm feeling to me. My only small complaint is not being able to have subtitles turned on through RUclips because I struggle to read the white lettering on the light colored backgrounds. Maybe try to use a font that has a black outline? That is the only thing that I have a problem with in your videos. Otherwise they are absokute love!
The tulips are beautiful.
Sorry the food was hit and miss, but it was still really cool seeing this place. I didn't even know it existed!
That any mousetrap for you

I hate wasting food too. That’s good. I was there couple years ago. Loved the sinbad ride
Honesty is always good. Don't feel bad if you didn't like something.
Definitely appreciate an honest review because it will save me time and money 🙂
8:47 I would Call that Deep Sea Pizza ☺
At least the cooler weather and rain kept the crowd numbers down. 👍🏻

Wow I really want to try that white matcha popcorn ! 🥰 thank you for the video, I appreciate them and love them 💜💖

Thank you for sharing. Love your videos. The food looked awesome....
What an amazing place that bread bowl thing was unbelievable I want that.
I have never found amusement park food to be all that great. Most everything is mass produced and reheated. Only the specialty restaurants are generally good, but so expensive.
You really aren't complaining. You're informing us. The food isn't fabulous everywhere we go. That's life!
It was so lovely I like how you now stay till nighttime and see everything lit up
Satoshi got to have beer you got delicious looking cheesecake
Oh my word…I didn’t realize Tokyo Disney had Quoddy Head Lighthouse from my home state of Maine!!!! That is awesome 🥰🙏🏽
This is one of my bucket list places to visit so awesome to see some content from you there :) Please also do Tokyo Disneyland!
More Disney yes!!
Interesting video ! A food tour in a theme park is a great idea ! I would definitely do that 😁
This channel is so relaxing.
Yes would love you to do Tokyo Disneyland 🇳🇿🥝

A reuben without sauerkraut and dressing isn't really a reuben! Glad the final sandwich turned things around!

yeah go to tokyo disney theme park, by the way your videos are the best
Thanks a lot!
you have my respect dude 18:08
As I read the caption I can hear your voice describing the food. Thanks for sharing.
Imagine expecting a five star dining experience from an over commercialized theme park
💙 I love cheesecake!
Why on earth would anyone go to Disney on such a horrible day? I feel so sorry for all the people here today😢
That can't have been cheap that trip :P
Looking like the sub behind the radiator from the simpsons
You should really consider doing a collab with “TDR Explorer” on your next visit!
YEEAA love your vids bro
👍👍

We have that avatar food here at Animal Kingdom

at 18:00 you can see homer simpson's half eaten sandwich XD
Heh a Hawai’i guy saying it’s freakin cold is a bit much hehe… btw speaking of fine dinner do they have 33club?
The beauty of theme park food is you're trapped inside.
New York Deli.....HAAAHAHahahahahahahahah !!!!
I was scaning the crowd looking for Lady Bacon. Oops, wrong video, 'Hi Satoshi'.
No Russian no sauerkraut, it’s not a Reuben, it’s just a mess
They probably removed the sauerkraut and dressing because they think it would be more appealing to a generalized audience I imagine. Saurkraut is a very strong flavor, and it's one of those things that you either like, or really hate a lot of the time.

i don't know why but that purple sandwich was very unappetizing in its appearance to me. :p
美味しそう(*'▽') Nice video.
Tokyo Disney Sea is just a walking simulator. The only attraction is lining up half an hour to buy expensive food.
What a sad excuse for a Reuben. Probably cost an arm and a leg, too.
I think you have a right to complain if they advertise a Reuben and give you a corned beef sandwich! There's nothing wrong with a corned beef sandwich, but, if that's what they're selling, that's what they should advertise!
Pink bread roll and a bright blue dessert! They don’t seem to care too much about food colourings.
Sorry you had a below average food experience.
Would love to see the new foods at Disneyland! I love the sausage on bone, I feel like eating one would give me HP.
I am so sorry you were disappointed with your food. I imagine it was expensive being in a theme. And then to be disappointed . . . I'm sorry. The purple bread was a little off putting for me. Thank you for the nice video.
I’m going to Japan this fall. Would love to see the Disneyland one before that. Sorry the food here was bad, Shinichi 💜
That was not a Rueben sandwich. That was a corned beef and Swiss sandwich. The reason a Rueben is a Rueben is because it contains sauerkraut and thousand island or Russian dressing. You got ripped off. 😮😢
Why are there so many signs in the park in English? Can most Japanese read and understand English?
this guy is literally culinary Monsieur!!!

Come on they could of at least put in pickled vegetables in place of the sauerkraut . That would be acceptable.
