Thank you for not editing Jackson's emotions out. Soon there will be a generation of children born who won't know the grandparents who lived through a portion of segregation in United States. As we know many states around the U.S are trying to remove the teaching of African American History. What you guys captured in your trip while in Birmingham is an example of how and why it should be taught.

Jackson is brilliant in intelligence and in emotion. His parents said he scores in the top top percentile at school in intelligence and he’s also sharply aware of his own emotions, of the emotion of the room, and he understands and feels words and hypothetical circumstances deeply. It will be a blessing to see where this takes him. Jackson is a gift.

My family is from Alabama and I would return to Birmingham to visit my grandparents often. The first time I visited the Civil Rights Museum, I cried my eyes out. My grandparents and some of my aunts and uncles lived through segregation. One of my aunts knew two of the little girls who died in the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing. It's a museum everyone should visit.

I think seeing Jackson cry hit me so differently I live in North Carolina where there's a slave market that still stands in downtown Fayetteville North Carolina where my great-great-grandfather was sold not once but twice and to think that we still have to educate our kids because the public school systems are trash and their failing our children when it comes to discussing our history just shows how far this country still has to go! But on a lighter note I've been watching this family since Jackson was a baby and I must say that mom and dad you guys are doing a phenomenal job!
