I bought the bernzomatic TS800 and had the flame on high when I did the seasoning burn in. The Searzall literally caught on fire and I had to stop the seasoning. The head took a minute for the flame to go out. Then, I turned the torch down to low and was able to finish seasoning it. After it cooled down the smell went away and it seems to be working OK. We shall see if it works on my food. My advice is to season the Searzall with the torch gas turned down low especially if you are using the TS8000 torch.
Hi. Thank you for this. I just bought my first propane canister to sear meat (sous vide) with Searzall. The torch is not the TS800 because it’s hard to find in Europe but I think the Rothenberger SuperFire 2 is the same. I have to say I’m worried because I live in an apartment. I was thinking about storing the can on my balcony (in a box, on the floor, at the corner), but then I read it shouldn’t be in direct sunlight, so I don’t know if just a cardboard box will do because of the sun. I wonder what people with gas grills in their balconies do?! Do you have any advice for storage? Also how do I dispose of it when it’s gone? And do I really need to put and remove the torch with every use? The removal is the time I feel more afraid because I hear gas escaping when unscrewing. Thanks. Ah. I live in Germany and here some buildings have storage rooms in the garage, without wall just wire frame (I don’t know the name in English). Could it be an alternative? It can get cold in the winter.
moronsaltable the 8000 has a knob on the back, that lets you dial down the flame. It also is a bigger and hotter flame when full on. The 4000 has a slightly smaller, non adjustable flame.
He looks like the kind of guy who'd be carrying around two bags of grass, seventy five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... and also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.
Same...its why I looked for a video because what I did to mine does not seem like something a vendor would advise. Seemed crazy dangerous and the entire assembly turned orange from the heat.
TS8000 valve fully opened results in a crazy amount of flame that looks nothing like the demo but I did mine before watching this video...so hopefully its not trashed.
it's back on sale on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Searzall-Torch-Attachment-Small-Stainless/dp/B00L2P0KNO/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1534883237&sr=1-1&keywords=searzall
Audio at end loops to starting audio to be specific. After few seconds silence. Are you guys serious about selling this product? You talk about safety, setup, & proper seasoning, but can't make a proper video???
I can't believe the audio has been broken for 6 years and they haven't bothered to fix it.
Seriously
No reason for this video to be 9 minutes. Just dislikes and left
Dave, please fix the audio loop. It stops as you are finished with the seasoning and then repeats from the beginning and the end is chopped off.
It was a perfect video until we hit 8:03. I really appreciate you posting it.

Your audio is screwed up at 8:00 till the end!
...and #zerofucks given about fixing it. 🤣
somebody searzallled the timespace continuum
Yup, I had the same problem. It is otherwise a pretty decent tutorial.
@@HooperWest this is flippin' great...
why is no one asking about the yellow glass lenses? sweet...
Fix the audio at 7:59!
Thank you. You made so much more sense than the printed instructions.
Very helpful comment!!! Jus got mine with the Ts 8000 , just seasoned it! Thx buddy!!! Can’t wait to use It now.
I am about to open the box and season my new SEARZALL. Thanks for the video.
I tried it with a Wayland-Yutani and it tried to eat my face. 100% recommend following instructions.
Thanks for the video.
Great video! Thanks for the great information!
Yup. Audio after the 2 minute seasoning is messed up.
Thank you - I couldnt figure out what to do with that spacing stick

Thought I was having a deja vu moment.
Nice, thanks
How far open do you have the valve on the ts8000 torch?
I have two torches. One old one brand new. Both Bernzomatic. The Searzall adapter is way too big for either. Heading back to hardware store. Smh
Lots of RUclips product slaps.
Which torch can I use in Europe??
Wow, its Toby McGuire
Guy blasts torch 2 minutes...passes out middle of video lol.
Is this ever going available to buy?
Will you be selling these on Amazon again anytime soon?
They are available now for $56
Do this outside lol
Hey Booker & Dax, has Searzall gone belly-up?
what's the difference between using a ts4000 and ts8000?

Mine literally caught on fire and tried to burn my hand. It takes forever to sear something, this thing sucks.
What happened to the end of the audio? Maybe record an update?
Jeez lotta comment hate. The product is awesome ignore these fools
nice glasses bro
This is the comment I came to see. I knew someone had to mention those specs. lol

get this back in stock please, it is priced 300+ on Amazon.
Jack wu Prime Day sale, got mine for $78 Canadian with next day delivery.
Prime day is a joke, Raising up the price and then purposely gives you "discount"
I am actually not buying it any more, my propane tank "blew" up last time when I removed the torch off it. 😂
In stock now for $56 at Amazon.
When I did the 2-minute seasoning there were so much fire coming out of it it look like a blowtorch what the hell
Same...its why I looked for a video because what I did to mine does not seem like something a vendor would advise. Seemed crazy dangerous and the entire assembly turned orange from the heat.
any one knows if i have leave the gas knob fully opened?
TS8000 valve fully opened results in a crazy amount of flame that looks nothing like the demo but I did mine before watching this video...so hopefully its not trashed.
Product not available?!?!? WTH!?
Amazon has them now for $75 each, if your still looking for one. Just bought one a couple of days ago.
Be nice to be able to purchase your product, but guess you guys don't like money. No where to buy it. Smh
it's back on sale on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Searzall-Torch-Attachment-Small-Stainless/dp/B00L2P0KNO/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1534883237&sr=1-1&keywords=searzall
Ive got mine today and there was no spare screens...
If you saw the addition on the video, it said purchases after 2015 now had a better screen attached (no new screens with the new version)
What the heck is seasoning the screen?
LOL, pause the video to write and the moment i unpaused it was answered. thanks
Audio is completely screwed up!!!
Audio
Audio screwed up for 3-1/2 years. Seriously. I just ordered one of these. I hope customer service is better than your youtube promotional department.
So what happened? You're out of business. Your forum is dead. You don't sell the replacement screens. Did you abandon the product?
Whats with the glasses haha (theyre nice but wrong place wrong time buddy)
Audio at end loops to starting audio to be specific. After few seconds silence.
Are you guys serious about selling this product?
You talk about safety, setup, & proper seasoning, but can't make a proper video???
machining and operating a torch is a lot different than encoding a video, there's no equivalency
I just purchased a Searzall from Amazon, and I did NOT receive any additional screens. NOT A SINGLE ONE.
Are you related to Ben Shapiro?!
This guy is a joke
