I was just a kid when I saw Napalm Death, Carcass, Cathedral and Brutal Truth in Cleveland. Campaign for musical destruction tour. I’ve seen them many times since and they are a fucking well oiled machine. Total top notch. Precision musicianship.

I recently listened to Swan Song for the first time in 25 years and was surprised to see how well it's aged.
At the time I wasn't ready for Death n Roll, but over the years I have softened to it, so I can honestly say now that I like ALL of Carcass' albums.

I ran into Bill Steer in Albuquerque when CARCASS played there in 2022. Very friendly guy! And now we know that all those nasty Grind riffs were apparently coming from Ken Owen. Anyway, this was a brilliant and hilarious interview once again. 😄 Thank you Justin!

Love this style of interview - more like banter than standard interviews and the DAWG brings out a different side of musicians.
Jeff seems to be really chill and humble and even joined in on the good humour, definitely took all the jokes about the different eras/styles of the band in good faith. The whole "poser" thing that Jeff refers to is actually true - I know the DAWG insults people who don't know underground stuff as posers but there are some people in the scene who like to impress others by favouring underground music for the sake of them being underground. That's a kind of poser too!
I love obscure stuff but also love Metallica's Black Album, makes no difference to me!

I was waiting for this interview! lol. Carcass is the greatest of all time. When I saw them in Raleigh, NC nine or so years ago, Jeff had the funniest stories between songs. One in particular ended with, "Tool still sucks." Also, "Keep on Rotting" was awesome live, posers be warned!

The more i watch these videos, the more i see how JDawg desperately wants all these musicians to watch his videos. I enjoy these as a fan of metal music, and J gets to interview some great legends, he knows his sh*t and his style gets some good reactions, responses and stories from the musicians, something you wont see from anyone else but its truly a turn off when he makes it about himself, says shit that other bands said (kind of a way to start shit between them) and pushing his channel on them. Still enjoy this shit, Hails.

Seeing the great Jeff Walker with a crew cut on his skull is wild😮, however, by the end of the interview I was somehow entirely ok with it.
Also, I was completely blown away to hear what Jeff thinks of Carnage Dark Recollections album! F'ing love that album! Imho, Torn Apart is decent. There's a couple good breakdowns in that song, but weak when compared to a track like Infestation Of Evil. I really enjoyed 90% of Dark Recollections. The least enjoyable song for me was the track they re-recorded for Dismember... Deathevocation.
Hilarious by the end of the interview Jeff had his back completely turned to Justin 😂 Again, great interview. 👍💀
