Man, those gears in that transfer case are screaming. You really shouldn't go more than 25 mph in 4Lo. Also to get it out of 4Lo, stop the truck, put in neutral with your foot on the break, then switch to 4hi, put into gear and crawl slowly, it should change to 4Hi
Had a 2000 lariat that l sold with over 320 thou miles on it. The body's will fade away before the 5.4 2 valve will. These are solid trucks.
