This is one of the best (possibly the best) alternate history mapping videos I think I've ever seen. The borders and fronts are impeccable, the logic, the history: it all comes together pretty much perfectly. Even Yan Xishan, one of the greatest sticklers of accuracy in the mapping community, who even goes so far as to call their own excellent videos inaccurate, likes it.
I have one major quasi-criticism/question. How does the balance of power work out in the Entente's favor? In 1838 and 1939, you have France and the UK (and later on Spain) against Germany, Austria, and Italy. The Bellicists stomp on Italy, then with the help of the Balkan Entente, overrun and defeat Germany in late 1939. They then turn on the Balkans and take them for themselves. All is well until Russia joins the Entente (after the Bellicist invasion) and the United States and Japan join the Bellicists. Then we have
France, Spain, UK, the United States, Japan, Italy, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine, and East-India
against
Canada, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, African and Indian colonial territories, and Arabian warlords
How does the Entente win? Canada must have their entire army taken up by the United States, and most or all of the navy (assuming they managed to scuttle the navy before the Bellicists took over the UK), which leaves Russia, Oceania, the African and Indian territories, and the Arabians against the entirety of Europe and an almost fully made Greater East-Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere, assuming Canada can beat the United States--they'd probably need help from the rest of the Entente, weakening the other Entente nations even further.
Even with Russia, it's hard for me to see the Entente getting much better than a status quo without some serious MS-Paint pulling of the strings. Remember, Russia is going to be at least a decent bit (military) weaker than in OTL without the rapid industrialization done by the Bolsheviks, and they definitely aren't getting any of the lend lease from the United States, which will set them back 400,000 motorized vehicles, over 10,000 planes, and more.
The Bellicists aren't even going to have the oil problem that the Axis did in OTL, because they can just get endless oil from Texas sent over the Atlantic by the United States.
So, what gives? Am I missing something?
i think since the british empire was the strongest country before the war, most of the british army went to canada and africa when the revolution happened in britain so thats why canada became such a strong nation

Great vid. I will make 2 criticisms (not toward u just towards the lore)
1. Japan ultra nationalist ally w syndicalists? Idk how that work other than them being 2 fighting the same enemy (I.e. less cooperation than irl world)
2. Without US’s overwhelming industrial might, idk how the Russians could have managed to push the entente (which by this point has whole of Europe’s industrial might and isn’t blocked by sea powers for resources) out of irl Moscow and Stalingrad. Seems to me the entente were rather weak industrially compared to the syndicalists.
Francisco's timeline isn't exactly the actual Kaiserreich, I think the Belliciste Internationale is probably more similar to the OTL Axis Powers, so much that when they invaded the Russian Republic, the socialists managed to made a coup in Russia and eventually sided with the Entente, like happened with the Allies and the USSR in OTL. But a thing that we have to agree is the fact that the Entente managed to win the war even by being just North Africa, Canada, Russia, Australasia, NW India and US Pacific States, against almost a Worldwide Internationale doesn't look so realistic...

absolutely perfect. Germany didn't win the war which is very logical. France, Britain (anti-syndicalist governments) and russia were the great winners of thee war and I'll be very interested to see europe post ww2, to see how the victorious powers decided to share the continent.

@@FriscoDojenia Realism looks alright honestly, especially the european theatre. It's just that California & Canada seem a bit overpowered. I believe American Belleciste would have crushed them both quite easily, then supported Japan and so on.

It very much looks like hoi4 kaiserrich mod, the red part in india(bhratiya commune) is an ally of commune of france, and the blue part is (british raj). Germany holding a huge colony in central africa which is similar to that in the video. The US is divided and also the russian republic.

I’m not a communist but the internationale would have easily won. The USA and Mexico would have taken over all of North America no matter how powerful Canada is becuase Canada can’t forge a strong army. Australia should not be able to prevent Japan from taking over Oceania as their military os vastly inferior. A three pronged invasion of Russia from Beirut, Amur, and the west would be very likely and cause Russia to fall in maybe a year or so with no supplies coming from anywhere but Central Asia. The middle eastern countries are not as powerful as they may seem at this time. It would just be weak middle eastern countries and a few weak colonies vs the entire world.
Yeah, not the most realistic scenario. The Bellicist Internationale aren't communist, but nationalist and these TL's version of fascists. The power imbalance between both alliances would most likely result in the Bellicists winning, but the canon was that the Entente wins. I might make an updated, hopefully more realistic video in the future, but that's later.

"Bellicist" comes from the Latin word for "war", "Internationale" comes from Kaiserreich since the lore for EVW is heavily inspired from that. All the members of the Bellicist Internationale are largely authoritarian essentially TTL fascists.

How come Japan loses in a war when the American military capabilities are- guessing the situation in the Americas- spread out?
I doubt that the American navy in this timeline is well equipped or have any stationed fleets in the Pacific.
The Californian Republic wouldn't stand a chance against a giant Japan that has a giant industry fueled by large quantities of resources from southeast Asia and China.
I don't think that Britain has no need for a giant fleet since I didn't see any important British colonies in Asia, meaning the British fleet is only used for Atlantic missions.
I don't think Australia has the capacity to perform an offensive into Japan's heavily fortified islands but I think it could perform defensive measures in Papua new guinea.
I doubt that Canada is willing to spend most of its large navy at Japan, they don't even have the industrial capability of the US to replace major naval losses since they're an agricultural based economy.
The land invasion of Japan's territories was supposed to be a costly campaign for the Entente and since Japan's land forces aren't busy dealing with Chinese nationalists like in the OTL, the Japanese army would be fully replenished and is ready to engage against the exhausted entente forces.
And where in the world did they manufacture the nukes?
The USA was engaging in a land war in their homeland which would have heavily affected the industrial infrastructure.
Canada does not have the industrial capability without the assistance of the US to create atomic bombs.
The world would rather accept peace with the Japanese rather than spend another more billions of dollars to fight them, the world is already destroyed!

Fearing native African groups would take control of the German colonies the French Republicans occupies the lands for “protection.” And once Kaiser Wilhelm II died, Wilhelm III officially joined the Entente.
