One day, I want our governor to hold a press conference telling the citizens of Florida that the skyrocketing homeowners' insurance premium issue has been solved. Our homeowner's insurance is criminal in this state now. NW Florida is paying for the sins of Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jax, etc. When is this going to be solved?
The problem is fraud. Everyone I know steals from their insurance company with overstated claims. And I mean everyone. That's where your skyrocketing costs come from. I'd like to self insure once my house is owned free and clear. Then repair costs will not be inflated and become affordable.
Everybodys' home and vehicle insurance steadily creeps up higher with every disaster insurance pays out on, we here in Arizona are helping to to pay the burden of it also. We are all together in more ways than we know. We all pay, pay...., and then we pay more and more.

I was born and raised in Amarillo Texas and was scared my first couple of times in a hurricane. It’s always good to go over procedures for people that might not know everything. It was ONE case. Our Neighborhood got together and FED 150 linemen and lots of other areas in Houston did that as well. So give it up.
