      It really is crazy sometimes, really a lot of the times, really most of the time, how grown assed men aren't mature enough to be able to admit they are wrong - like ever. It's really pathetic actually. It shows a weakness of the mind that you can't admit being wrong, cheers to Michael here for embracing trial and error which is the cornerstone of human learning and achievement.

      Honestly I don't mind being wrong or corrected. But that's me. I love learning something new daily. No matter how big or small the information is. Crazy a lot of adults it's the end of the world when they could be wrong about something that they'd rather sit in the ignorance which is fine with me overall lol I don't lose sleep. Its just interesting how fragile people are.

This type of person is ignored (regardless of ethnicity) because only extreme views get the airtime. Ignorant inmates are running the asylum because everyone else is too busy getting on with living best they can (i.e. law abiding normal decent folk, aka the silent majority). It is refreshing to see videos like this (like ones with Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman) who's views are sought after by idiots with microphones, but the answers these rational people provide are ignored.

      @Palepride Worldwide What part was nonsense? It's proven in the crime stats in every state and the FBI database that most violent crimes are committed in lower income neighborhoods. I should know, I'm a retired cop and I used to take calls all over my precinct. The areas that were least susceptible to violent crimes were the homes where the people took pride in how their homes and yards looked, how they treated their neighbors and looked out for each other. If you took offense to his statement that trailer parks have high crimes too then you're being sensitive or ignorant. Most violent crimes in trailer parks are domestic assaults, spurred on by alcholism. I've taken numerous calls like those. In fact, domestic assault calls in trailer parks tend to be more life and limb threatening. I've seen children severely beaten by fathers or boyfriends because the mothers were afraid of the guys. I've seen women get severely beaten for defending their children. A lot of people like you want to dispute an argument without the facts. That's why MJW told that story because a lot of race hate stems from misinformation and pure ignorance. The worst part about people like them and you is that you espouse to love God but won't even follow the simplest of tenets in the Bible: Love thy neighbor as you would yourself.

    • @MrCcoolg
      @MrCcoolg 3 года назад

      @Palepride Worldwide Unlike you, I have more to do than just sit around the computer and jerk my chicken all day. I read the suggested article. That's an article that only hints at your argument. You want to blame everything on gang violence in the black community. But Here's the point that you Missed dude while you're trying to refute my refutation: it happened in a lower income area. Think about it (If you Choose to that is). When have you ever heard of gang violence in Burbank, Ca or Hollywood or in Colorado Springs or in hundreds of Other suburbs in America??!! You HAVEN'T!!! Because those areas have upper income families in them. Gang violence is the one thing those areas Don't have because it brings down property values and the clientele there want to feel "safe" (as if Anywhere in this country is safe from someone determined to harm anyone). The point is, your argument only Strengthens the argument about increased violence in low income areas not weakens it. Try again dude. Furthermore, let's not have this intelligent conversation degrade into insults. I had respect for your views before your little gibe. Now I'm beginning to doubt your intelligence.

      @Palepride Worldwide Tell you what, if you can't resist making insults like a juvenile, then I'll just stop this debate and let the rest of RUclips see you for what you are. And yes I can agree with you on that since the largest part of the population in this country is white (Which brings up another subject matter that I won't discuss with you).

      @Palepride Worldwide I read the Wikipedia info of the book. I'm sure that's it's an interesting read. I'm sure that you know as well as I do how the media and Hollywood has played a part in all of this, not just over the past few years but for decades. There are not many journalists, producers/publishers that are objective. Everything has an agenda without a proper follow up to what they publish/broadcast for proper context. That being said I'm not willing to dismiss what a person or group is declaring just because I don't believe it to be so. That's not how the world works or more correctly, how it Should work.

I would say most times at the end “I wish more people could just want to understand each other when we talk our differences, I don’t think my opinion should change your thinking ” and then Michael mention that too and my jaw dropped. Right. "You're not like the others". I doubt they even know the others. Even when you see a lot of young black kids, and you can make assumptions bc of how they dress, wear their hair, talk, etc. If you actually take a few minutes to talk to the, you can usually find that they are just like anybody else on the street. It's unfortunate that we have to prove our worth, code switch, or go out of our way to show that we're harmless, just to not be rejected, ignored, or treated as less than. But the typical white kid gets the benefit of the doubt, and a far east Asian kid is welcomed with open arms.

    I’ve made those same points and he’s right. They get baffled and reach so far to try and justify their actions. The look on their faces priceless. A racist family in SC with an obnoxious racist son that they were trying to apologize for. Instead of getting mad at his comments I engaged them in dialogue. They saw a group of Black people celebrating and didn’t realize that we were Lawyers, Teachers, and Entrepreneurs. Had them buying us drinks out of guilt 😂😂😂

      @sleeping bear Perhaps try reading to understand instead of reading to reply.
      It seems as if you felt some kind of personal way about the situation i.e. "But hey if it made you feel like you(')ve achieved anything then more power to you."(???). I mean is the OP wrong to laugh at the situation for what it was worth? Whatever the other families intent was before just know that it was black guy demonstrating high character and intelligence in directly engaging them in healthy dialogue versus any form of ignorance which is counter to what the "obnoxious racist son" may have wanted to be on.
      But hey, if it makes you feel better to know that they're probably still racist as if that's somehow an admirable characteristic then more power to you...I guess.

    I enjoyed this interview. Growing up my siblings and I were never taught about different races. We had many different cultures in our neighborhoods and schools, but as kids we didn’t see ourselves any differently from our friends who had different backgrounds. My two best friends were from Israel and Vietnam. It wasn’t until I got older and the media kept pushing the racism agenda and that because I’m a white male that I must be racist. Beside the fact that half of my family has married Hispanics and my daughter in law is (as she puts it), Black and beautiful and my grand daughter is a beautiful combination.
    I like hearing interviews like this because contrary to popular opinion most whites aren’t racist. And the ones that I meet I distance myself from. Hatred is too draining
