I was born and raised in Crozet, VA, as was my father, his father and his father before him. My great grandfather was born in a farmhouse out in Batesville...so, yes, my roots run deep in Albemarle. As a kid, we used to go up in the woods all the time and just sit and wait for stuff to happen. As a teenager we would go up to Sugar Hollow and hike up past the reservoir and just sit, and wait. It didn’t take long Before we either heard something, or a stick would be thrown down in front of us, or we’d see a shadow off in the distance of something tall moving...Albemarle County is FULL of surprises!

They feel safe with you. They since that you do not want to harm them. They are communicating with you by bringing back your stuff. I follow a lady on here who leaves toys and things out. The same thing every night, same spots. Sometimes they take something and leave her something , small items. They have even left her items on her walking routine. This is awesome. I’d totally camp out there! Im pretty sure I’d be creeped out. But I would fight through just to have the experience..

We used to live in an old farmhouse across the road from a cemetery one night a storm caused an electrical surge to burst several light bulbs including one over my sister's cradle there was glass all over the cradle and the floor my mother ran into the room and grabbed my sister and got her out my mom was barefoot at the time neither my mom or my sister got a scratch! My mom said later that she felt something lift her up and carry her across the room helped her grab my sister and carried her back out of the room! Another time my father lost his wedding ring while working in the yard later that night he woke up feeling that something was in the room he followed the spectre down into the basement were he saw something shiny on a window ledge he looked and there was his ring! The next day he checked to see if that window was open and found it was nailed shut!

You are one brave son of a gun! That's about all I can say. By the way, I (an old lady) was out fishing one day (eastern part of Cincy) and saw some rocks land near my chair. I looked up the hill and thought maybe it was some kids throwing rocks down near me at the lake. Well, I didn't see anyone. I finally got the creeps and left. There had been a few families fishing around the lake earlier in the day, but I noticed that most of them had gone home. I finally eased my way to my old fishing car and went home. (Kind of confused and a little bit scared).
If you want to get close to Bigfoot, you need to make a gifting spot and bring them fruit,treats, candy, peanuts and peanut butter.Even a stuffed animal.You should also leave them a mirror, toys like a beach ball (small) They will come closer and start to trust you! And they will gift you back!! Even start giving them a name and tell them your name. In time you will be shocked at what happens! Thats accuerly a great idea . Hey people if the eyes are reflecting like i saw that to. Do you think that it's actually someone ? Cause the reflection has to be off something alive or glasses but I don't think so.
20:00 several sets of eye shine at various heights really dull , then about 21:00 very bright eyeshine bottom left of screen and the massive eye shine high up at 20:34 . Lantern is being manoeuvred in various directions all through the video.
My wife and I just discovered this channel in the recommended list. So glad we hit play. We will be binge watching tonight for sure. Personally, I am not 100% sure about each thing that has transpired thus far. However, being from southeast Kentucky, we have witnessed many many bizarre things with our own two eyes. Suggestion: You may want to invest in some 3rd Generation Military Night Vision Goggles. They can also be paired with a camera and pick up minute details in the dark with amazing clarity. I own some. I looked for a while to find a trusted dealer who could help me pick out what I wanted to purchase. I use mine for watching UFOs, stars, etc which are always moving overheard. If you have not seen the heavens through night vision, you have never really seen the stars before. The naked eye doesn't cut it! But your videos may start revealing more with night vision. I would think it would be interesting to have security cameras on that porch with infra red. I have simple security cameras, fairly inexpensive, but they have infra red and it works well. Costs me nothing to maintain except changing batteries and connects to my phone through wifi…… just thinking these could help immensely.

We had a fox that took the children’s toys that they left in the yard, or shoes from the back door, off up into the Paddock. It was a year or so when we found the Den, and some well chewed and played with belongings.
You have lovely, interesting 'neighbors'. Consider yourself lucky to be able to get to know them. They obviously mean you no harm.
Apparently they love MAGNETS! if you have something magnetic (a board or large metal item) place a few magnets on there they will move them around or place the magnets on to other metal items in your property for you to discover and will also take them and then place them back in different positions. Some one else is doing this and getting amazing interaction.

I can't believe I found this video again! So, about a year and a half ago, I stumbled on your channel, this video in particular was what popped up in my youtube reccommeneded and after watching a few other videos (the ones where you did a hike a few days later or something and you got a gps camera on your hat or something), I kinda stopped watching your channel but I thought I was subbed to it so for a whole year and a half, I tried so hard to find your channel again because you and your family and your sasquatch or spirit friends have been on the back of my mind and plus your videos about living off the grid were interesting. It isn't until about a month ago when I described this very video in the Tip of my Tongue Subreddit that someone pointed me to your channel and now here I am, with this video having popped up in my youtube feed once again.

I believe that basically these Beings have good intentions. You are doing the right thing by being very considerate in your interactions with them.
Deer, bears, large cats, and Wendigo, all have eyes that glow yellow. It could also be a chinchilla. But only the Wendigo and chinchilla are devious and clever enough to keep baiting you outside with your own lantern.

When you started booking it back to the house, I'm not sure if you pointed the camera back to the lantern, but you can just see bright yellow eyes staring at you. The lantern could be the reason because most have two line bulbs in them. But those... Those look like eyes.
Is it friendly? Maybe. But it's definitely letting you know of it's presence. I doubt it's aggressive in anyway. Unless it's toying with you and working you down over time until it's ready to strike.

I saw white glowing eyes which were blinking under the house at my cousins house when we were drinking in the backyard at night....they definitely weren't cats/dogs eyes and they were directly pointed at me and my cousin.I bolted out of that yard real quick.

I believe it's elemental. Has to be. I live out in the Cascades in the PNW. I've spent my life in the woods. There are sounds and screams at night that I just can't explain. Is what it is. I have 3 dogs not afraid of anything, but they whimper when they hear those screams.

I need to express concern about those bursts of white lights that the “watchers” seem to create. You should get an emf meter and see what the meter reads when the flash of light happens. Just to make sure you aren’t exposing yourself to high amounts of radiation. Who knows what that light is, but it does effect you.. each time you react to it. Just concern for you and your family. A friend showed me the emf meter reading from a microwave oven and those are also very harmful - just having one in your home.

They'll sometimes leave little figurines woven out of twigs ; marbles even. I know it sounds crazy but they do it they can even vocalize your name if you make it known to them

Friend wanted to go camping but was afraid of "them". My motto: if it comes through that door after dark, unannounced, it wants to die. I don't care what "it" is, it just signed its death certificate. A friend or authority would call out first, a bear or villain won't. Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

I heard a tree knock right before I saw something move in front of the lantern and then I saw it moving toward the camera and what ever it was must have known that it was being filmed because I could not see it but I could see the lantern moving down the trail.
I got a few screen shots as you were running towards the light, and the last screen shot seriously captured what looks like a small native holding the light up.. I’m happy to send it to you. ✌🏼

I slowed down the video, it was creepy hearing Kevin in slow motion, anyway I didn't see anything holding the lantern it appeared to be floating . Since the temperature dropped sudden and it was cold it fits. I think you not only have a Bigfoot family but ghosts. Be careful. 1) Reset the lantern on a full charge.
2) Strap a gopro to it and when you're walking away, let it be filmed.
3) Install game cameras around the camp site.
4) Sit and wait.
5) Upload the video.

Did anyone notice at roughly 7:10 ish, right above the white & blue tent looks like there's a pair of eyes that appear, then disappear or some kind of movement.
Head to Home Depot or Lowes and invest in several adjustable zoom flashlights. Better yet get online and look for Nebo flashlights and gear, got a few of their lights that adjust to 300 meters pretty clearly . The more the lumens to better clarity for things far away
I lived in a small town (Waldron) in west Arkansas until the age of 10, we moved in 1972. I had a friend that lived on a big farm about 25 miles east of Waldron in the middle of nowhere. My friend had several head of cattle on his farm and he told me that something or someone was killing his cattle. He said that the dead cows were spaced a little distance apart and that each cow would have a different piece of it missing as if just sliced off clean and no blood in the cows or on the ground. They never did find out what happened to my knowledge.

There was definitely something big and gray holding that lantern. Look like it was held far enough away (LH) as to not illuminate itself. Slow footage to .25 to get glimpse. He passes the flashlight over it quickly a few times
Maybe it’s not something big but rather, some thing(s) that are small. I took a screenshot and enhanced to bring forward details. In one it looked like a small group of little beings of some sort. There are legends about this , Native American ones.

They have been called shifters. I have lived in the country and lots of activities. Lots of late nights outside on my property. And seen all kinds of things. Similar to your activities. But i love your story and its nice to see someone else with same stuff.
What you should have done BEFORE was getting some good Mag lights to the right and left when the light is hovering. Then pull the switch and light the damn place up with multi salvos from 20 to 30 firework cakes and 8 once rockets aimed directly at the KILL ZONE , ( aerial bombs for a more dynamic effect ) . NO MERCY, NO Quarter ! let it rip ! Play the Star Spangled Banner, dance the Irish Feis , go for it . This is your day, take a swig of ale, lady in hand. Don't be shy the night is so young . As you walk solemnly thru the morning sunrise and behold the burned blackened earth with the charred tents you're guaranteed to get those spiteful spooks crapping in there pants as they head to the outhouse .And if nothing else your neighbors would say what the hell happened last night
You ar what some people call "the dry places" which means that the area is largely uninhabited by humanity. Spirits (seriously) inhabit these places. I worked at a ministry where we housed all sorts of people. One of these people was a young man (21 years old) and he came home from hunting with a friend. He was quite shook up. He told me he saw something like a gnome run about 20 feet in front of him from behind one tree to behind another tree. He quickly went to the tree where the "gnome" ran behind and it was not there. He was scared s--- less. This happens even in semi rural Tennessee.

you need a trail can so you can see better in the dark. That way you know what exactly is moving it.

May I make a recommendation. I know that these beings are very concious of cameras, whether trail cameras or phone cameras. I have heard using mirrors to film will work better at capturing footage of them more than just a normal camera facing the target area. Set up a few mirrors to where you can aim the camera at the mirror and angle the mirror to where you want to film.
