Nice one. It's not a hard job, the toughest thing is getting access to the underside of the van. I jacked up the passenger side (I think?) and put a couple of old wheels below the road wheels on the van to give me better access... Due to my accent I feel silly uploading but, I have had decent feedback on some of the repair videos so, it makes it worthwhile. Good luck from Maryhill buddy

      @@zambotv8150 also the pickup.
the cable is worn and frayed, so had to order new linkage cables. they come Friday. looks straight forward.
access to my van is great its a former government off roader, huge tires and lift kit, so no need for a jack.
      thanks again.

I have the same problem with the one I drive regularly the linkages are crap, Before you go to much into it, try removing the gator around the gearstick and make sure the cables are securely held in with the two metal clips, they have a habit of breaking then, get below it and smear the rods that go back and forward into the gearbox with grease it might help, it's certainly something you can do yourself before you go to a garage or mechanic, best of luck, where do you live Bob?
