Yeah back in the day Miami (OH) used to be known as the competitive, academically-strong school (hence "Public Ivy") but nowadays it switched roles with OSU so now OSU has stronger academics and is more selective than Miami.

What’s up! At OSU you can’t get campus affiliated parking as a freshman, you have to be a sophomore. I personally have a car on campus bc I’m not a freshman
I chose OSU for a lot of reasons. I enjoy the campus a lot, like the overall student body and they have my major which isn't offered at most colleges. It doesn't hurt that there is always something going on while your on campus too!

Ohio State for years had a noncompetitive admissions policy but I suspect their high dropout rate compelled them to become more selective.
