Pro tip: if you’re impatient like me feel fortunate cuz you dont even need to these extra steps. Just take the seeds on your palm & press.. make sure they break open and now go take a plant pot and bury them under a soil pit and water it. I did this and IT LITERALLY GREW IN A COUPLE OF DAYS!
That’s a great idea too .

It will sprout but how to keep the sprouts grow into plants...?
All the sprouts grow about 2 inches and died peacefully. So difficult to grow corrindor plants. I tried several times all died. Is it the weather...?
I live in Malaysia
. The weather here is 33-37° .
@@mssaleha3273 probably it’s because of the weather . Can you grow it indoors ? With just little indirect sunlight ? I think you can try that way .
No need to soak overnight 2hrs is more enough recently I harvested this within 5 days my coriander was geeminated
Sounds good
Perfect! This is exactly what I needed to know.
I've also found that beets and Swiss chard benefit from being cracked a bit before sowing in the garden.
I've never grown coriander before and my daughter loves the leaves fresh in sauces.
Cool!
thanks, what a straight forward video. thankyou for posting.

Super excited to see how it goes ❤

I bought coriander seeds from Home Depot, the seeds were not split. I did soaked them in water and voila, came out perfect!
Yeah that works out as well . Looks like the seeds are of good quality , soil is fertile with good sun and water .
Hi I tried same method but hardly 2 seeds germinated after 7 days and want to understand what went wrong I gave fertilizer, make sure soil remain moist but only 2% germinated and growth is also very slow. can u help to understand what went wrong and how to achieve 100% germination success Pl reply, eager to know proper way/Answer pl
Could be that u put more soil on top of seeds than needed or over pressed the soil which did not allow the growing plant to come out
@@roronoazoro3265is this true what he is saying
Have u tried again with little soil to grow. Please reply me
Thanks for your advice
😊
Thank uou
I tried this way but its been 6 days and I haven’t seen any sort of growth. Any idea what could be the reason? Is it the soil?
Is it getting proper sunlight , water ? Can be the issue with soil also . And don’t keep it too moist . Giving surplus water can decay the seeds . You can wait for more 10 days if all the above are not the issue . Or try sowing them again this time don’t press the soil too hard after sowing . Let me know how it goes later .
I read that roasted coriander seeds loses its viability.

I’m very curious about the gardening soil. I have noticed that Indian gardeners seem to use actual soil in their gardens mainly and westerners mainly use gardening mixes made from peat moss, pearlite, compost, fertilizers, etc, but rarely any actual topsoil unless they are large scale farmers. We are told that using soil in our raised garden beds or potted plants is not good. Can anyone from India tell me what their perspective on this is because my intuition says that healthy soil is obviously where plants should be grown, but I am completely new to gardening.
In India we grow mostly in actual soil . I support that completely
Good info and video
Thank you . Keep supporting
Wow! hope to get this healthy coriander when i grow my own coriander

There is no good or bad just take a packet and follow the process make sure you are not packing the mud right after sowing . Just covering it is enough .

Probably 20 days

Seems like most of the seeds were died. But still it's worked.
Really weird. I am just a beginner. And I always gets worried, will they sprout or not 😂😂
And I took care of the plants with utmost care but they still didn't grow much or dies. But the plants my mom occasionally waters grows so well.
Not all the seeds sprout that’s the reality hehe . Glad some of them sprouted. Thanks for the support . I highly appreciate your efforts for subscribing to my channel .
how many days it takes to grow
Depends on the fertility of soil and sun water
If I do not split the seeds is there any problem?
No problem but it might take longer to grow

Nope but the sprouting might take a lil bit more time .

How do you know when to theyre ready? And how do I not kill them? And what do I do after harvest, do they just die ?
This is the first plant I’m growing so I need a lot of help 😞
You can cut them and use it in food . And you can either let them grow like that after cutting or remove it completely and sow another batch . Usually corriander is plucked out with roots .
Can anyone please tell me why my baby coriender starts fllowering with 40 days, i have not use a single leaf bcoz they are too small and why flowing too soon?
Usually it should be cut before flowering . Don’t leave it for 40 days .
Hi please help me on this jb bhi mai coriander k seeds daaltihu

For the 1st qestion , yeah only few seeds will sprout for anyone .
2nd qestion - maybe the soil is not fertile enough that’s the reason all this issue occur . And water should be just sprayed .
