Tour Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. Highly rated and mega sized with over 30,000 students, 2,600 acres, almost all 125 buildings of Hokie stone. Drill field is center of campus.
I got to go on a field trip and take a tour of the campus when I was 14 years old. That campus is HUGE!!! It was a beautiful place and the food there was phenomenally great! When I got to walk on the football field in the stadium, it was the best experience I ever had as a kid. I got to go inside the coliseum, the library there, wish I could've went into the market, I got to walk around some of the class halls, the fitness center, the indoor pool but the lights were off in the pool but there was like a long hallway that was over the pool, then, I got to visit the student center, we got to talk to some of the people there and at the time, it was the college I dreamed of going to but like an idiot, went out and found a job instead of going to college. If I could go back, I'd go to college and further my education. But it was a wonderful tour and I enjoyed every second of it!
Hopefully this will be my future school I'm in high school currently (freshmen) I'm working really hard in all subjects to be good enough for this school!,cheers for this video.
Sounds like you are moving in the right direction. Terrific that you are forward looking; I applaud your efforts! Wish you the best for the future...and I hope it includes going to Virginia Tech.
so... did u get in? (im assuming ur a senior now) im a sophomore and i wanna go to Virginia Tech... have a 3.9 unweighted gpa and aiming for 1550 in SAT... hoping i can go
goodluck man, i got in with a 4.1 weighted (3.6 unweighted) started taking ap's sophmore year. my sat was in the range of ~1100. got into the science college. Let me know if you need anymore tips.
@kle Wood wow APs in sophomore year? I only plan on taking 1 ap in junior year and 2 aps in senior year... btw how is Virginia Tech... good school, good campus, good food etc?
Bryan Ho hey mb bro, a little late but yes every year i gradually took more ap’s. sophmore - 1, junior - 2 and senior - 4. Virginia tech ranks very highly and is considered prestigious by many people. The campus is quite big with ~30k students and the food is top 10 in the country compared to all other colleges. Goodluck man you got a great shot at getting into any schools with your expected sat/gpa!
Does anyone know if this college has a good biology program? I’m looking to go into evolutionary biology, zoology, paleontology, or something of the sort. Unfortunately I can’t check it out in person because of the pandemic
