2024 We RC Rock Nationals Recap

My recap video from the 2024 We RC Rock Nationals in Morrison, CO. This was such a fun event and so well organized for a first year event. Everyone involved was so friendly and offered endless amounts of help to a noob like myself. I competed in the 1.9 Pro Mod class and had a blast running gates with all the other amazing buggies. I ended up in last place after finals but had so much fun and made memories that will last a lifetime. I hope you guys enjoy this little recap video, I attempted to film when I could and I also took some phots of the unlimited class on day 2 so I have less footage from that day. be sure to check out Adventure Club Colorado for video of the full runs, I think there is one of my runs in his pro mod video so be sure to check that out! I’m already looking forward to next year and have my buggy torn down ready to make some improvements for more performance in the future. These RC crawler buggies are next level with all the scale detail involved and then on top of that they way they move over the rocks is truly something to see, I saw these rigs do lines that I never thought would be possible! Seeing all the amazing driving has definitely made me want to get some more seat time with this RC Speedy rig, there are some improvements on the way!

Looks like everyone is pretty much running the same full droop shocks with no outer springs. Do you know which they are? I’m currently building a buggy and would like to purchase them also, it’s hard to tell in the video but are these buggies 1/10 or 1/6 scale?

Lots of different shock setups on these things and it’s always so subjective for each individual build and the terrain it’s being used on. I don’t know each brand since there are so many. These are all 1/10 scale builds.

How much overdrive do you have in your rig ?

My promod only had 6% with the VFD transmission, I’ve found with more than that all the side hill capabilities went away, definitely subjective for the terrain you’re on.
