I watched the full video of Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting. I was impressed by how his position has remained fluid ever since he's been investing, and yet he still remains in the game. I've been following Buffett since 2019, and I've learnt so much from his personal investment style to earn myself $20K monthly in dividend income
I was really moved when he unknowingly mentioned Charlie Munger. Their relationship was very deep. I've been following them both too, and they've really changed my investment philosophy and who I should invest with.
Mind sharing some of the philosophies you find most interesting?
My favorites by far are value investing and staying within your circle of competence or investing with someone who is competent. I'm a psychologist, so investing is not my competence, but I identify the best investors. The one I've worked with for the past couple years have made me more than $400k in net return.

There are many independent advisors to choose from. But I work with Monica Shawn Marti and we've been working together for almost four years and she's fantastic. You could pursue her if she meets your requirements. I agree with her.

Munger and Buffett have both achieved an incredible feat with Berkshire. They've turned thousands to billions, and have made a lot of people wealthy in the process. I really saw the potential of the stock market by reading Berkshire's annual letters. I recently sold my $674k apartment in the Bel Air area and I'm hoping to throw it into the stock market. I just don't want to lose everything.
Most people either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however, I think it is just best to invest in the S&P 500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-- lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.
I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000

Sincerely, unless you're shrewd yourself, it would be wise to seek advice straight away. We are in a severe recession, and everyone is running out of money, I can tell you as a business owner in both the service sector and as an eBay reseller of all product categories.
@@trazzpalmer3199 I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a init-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a init-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted huge.

My Financial Advisor is Salvatore Fortunato Sofia. I found her on a Kiyosaki interview where she was featured and reached out to her afterwards. She has since provided entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can run a quick online research with her name if you care for supervision. I basically follow her market moves and haven’t regretted doing so.

I watched a video were Buffet fired EVERYONE and put money in his pocket. He did turn the company around but it's a good thing he's not a surgeon. "I harvested the corpse's organ and the patient no longer has to worry about any health issues and should be grateful I alleaviated his worries!"

I think it would’ve been very important to mention that Buffett’s success and ability to recover from so many bad deals and untimely transactions was mainly due to the fact that his shares pay zero dividend. Hence his ability to sit on the side lines with tens of billions waiting for market cycles to turn to his favor than he moves in with buckets of cash to buy them. I held the shares for a few years but had zero cash flow. Sold and bought into real estate funds and retired off of the cash flow. A huge difference!

The bulk of BH businesses (by revenue) are not listed. Those contribute a lot to results.
Rookie question: how is having a stock that pays dividends a bad thing?
Means that Buffet would lose purchasing power and would not be able to buy businesses so easily. Dividends mean sharing profits with shareholders. If you don't pay Dividends, you get to keep profits for business use.
What an asinine statement. The cash flows are retained and increase your BRK holdings value.

My spouse and I are adding a variety of stocks/ETF to my present holdings for the long term, We've set aside $250k to start following inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, I believe it is a good time to capitalize on the market for long-term gains, but it wouldn't hurt to know means of actualizing short term profit.
The current market might give opportunities to maximize profit within a short term, but in order to execute such strategy , you must be a skilled practitioner.

These guys & many others got started in a time so primed for a system that could take off the way it has, in an extraordinary manner. With the power of the printing press of $ (FED) & good relationships with the guys running it along with the banks, advertising and global import/export through technology like the computer.. we’re at a time now where all the money/control of companies is in the hands of bankers, managers, CEOs.
