When it is 6:05 hrs at Howrah Jn, it is followed by a series of Parallel action starting with the 12019 Howrah - Ranchi Shatabdi Express and 13017 Howrah - Azimganj Ganadevta Express.
This particular video reminded me of a very familiar experience I encountered 4 years while the Ganadevta Express was being hauled by HWH WDM 3D being the only diference.

Again the underdog challenged P-7 and showed how ruthless P-4 can be.
P-7 had a hard time battling it out with P-4. Last time it was an Alco fighting it out with a P-7 and the sheer length of Ganadevta prevented Ranchi Shatabdi to overtake.
This is a spectacle that we Eastern Railway based Railfans are proud of. But most of the times TSR and Signals spoil the sport.
But not this time. In fact this race is no less thrilling than VB vs Bhopal Shatabdi and also Sealdah Rajdhani vs Mumbai Rajdhani.
Superb capture and awesome presentation. P-4 looked poised to overtake P-7 and Infact had the race continued for another 5 kms we could have seen some unexpected result.
Nothing to say about the class and quality of the video.

To everyone in the comments section, this had nothing to do with the engine power.
The trains were going at varying speeds as per their clearance not as per their power.
But who will understand them

It’s something about these two trains going on their different journey,it’s beautiful and sad at the same time
That Red beast called P4 was once incharge of hauling all the premium trains in India ... but hey, things get better with time & glad to have P5's n P7's. P4 still one of the most reliable loco's even now.

This is the most satisfying video I ever come around. I watched it at least 200+ times. Since last year
Wap 4 is nothing less compared to wap 7. Previously all rajdhanis and shatabdis were hauled by WAP 4
Nope wap 7's accelaration is much more than that of wap 4.
And it is WAP 5 which is/was used mostly in Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Gatimaan.

Hell of a capture. But one thing I have travelled in trains hauled various diesel and electric locos. But one thing P7 has an amazing acceleration coz I have seen the difference even for 24 coachers it just pulls amazingly.
