Interesting thought Howard! I’ve actually seen more of these watches available in the secondary market than ever before. I think deep down Patek actually don’t care at that level let me tell you why I think this. To even get entertained to be on the list for even a totally boring plain Nautilus or plain Aqua you need to have bought 3-5 pieces that you don’t want. Now let’s think about something actually special like a 5740G/5990 probably 8-10 pieces including some whacky diamond type stuff. Now let’s think of what it takes to get a sapphire from them 18-25 pieces easily 7 figures spent maybe more!!! By that point you are VVIP they are flying you to events just to have a look at new releases with some champagne. The sad truth is they don’t ‘press’ these clients whatsoever. money talks it always has and it always will. Also people’s circumstances change! Some change their mind about watches. Some decide they can’t wear them enough. Some hit hard times! Not every rich person stays that way. It’s actually easier to make it than it is to keep it 👀 I’m fascinated to chat with you Sir let me know what you think?

I wore the RM027 Nadal for a long weekend I swear it’s the most madly designed watch I’ve ever worn. Weight is the same as 4 sheets of A4 paper 🤣 nadal calls it his second skin because it’s that light. How can it be a scam if he smashes serves in it all day long and the movement still works perfectly? I’m interested in your thoughts and this is always a good place for discussion amongst us 🎉🫡🤝🥳
