He didn't know it was a shady location. It's Japan Town, that's a tourist spot, why run shady business in a tourist area? It's made by and for Japanese. Blurring his first encounter doesn't give her right for the aggression. You can't just magically blur immediately, that require time and editing.

As they pass the massage shop China Mac goes from the left to the right of the screen but the massage shop is always in the center of frame. The lady said something as they passed, but didn't start tripping till it was obvious that Darren was filming her @ 5:34 . Why would Darren be filming behind China Mac after they passed the massage shop, unless to film the massage shop.
