Wow! You're one of the genius! I'm using Vixen as well. Just 24 channels last year and increased it to 40 this year. What I've done on my own was the PCB for my Renard. It was based on Renard 24 and Renard 16 SS. I've studied the schematics and etched my own PCB here at home. I'm looking forward for Vixen 3. ^_^ Thank you very much! You're the best!

We're currently writing Vixen 3, which will be even more powerful for sequencing displays. :-) I'm not using Renards or LOR at all -- I've developed my own electronics and controllers for them, and I'm using my own protocol to communicate with them. I'm using vixen to do the sequencing, with a custom controller module.
Thanks! It can take a while, but once I get into the groove of things it can be quick. For example, since I was redoing an old version of this, it probably only took.... ~10 hours, when it originally took ~40 or ~50 in Vixen 2. If it's a new one, it would depend on how long it takes to 'come up' with the ideas. Sometimes it's quick (~8-10 total), sometimes it can take many days.....
SAAAWEEET! Love it. I am curious as since I am currently only on 16 channels and it can take a few weeks to get a song programmed, how long does it take you to program a song with all those channels? It looks like Vixen 3.x is working out nice for you. Great show!
