The figure is awesome. I bought her yesterday and it's fine. Her articulations in her torso and head are great and with zero problems. Guess I'm lucky.
If you want to iron out the wrinkles on the cape, you can use a regular iron or even a hair straightener like I did. Start by removing the cape from the figure and put it in between some parchment paper. And then iron the cape starting with a low heat setting. No water or steam necessary. BE CAREFUL WITH THE PLASTIC PIECE THAT CONNECTS IT TO THE BACK!!!!!!!! Also my figure has the loose diaphragm and neck joint too.
They just reused the yellow lighting she came with in the apocalypse wave It's cool cause I'll use the extra lightning for the new havok when I get him
Am I the only one who thinks the white stitches on both hands and at the back for the cape are a bit off? I've been waiting for Anthony's review on this Storm just because I know he will react on that but he did not. So am I the only one bothered by it? I preferred the cape design Hasbro used on the Jubilee wave Storm. It's a longer cape with gold moveable rings for the hands.
@@LosMSR Finally! Someone who agrees! All these time I was thinking am I the only one who thinks this way about that cape? I thought Anthony would feel the same way since he is very keen on things like this but he never mentioned it at all! Why can't Hasbro just make her cape just like all the other pliable plastic capes they make for the other figures? Why Hasbro? Why?!
didn't she wore heels in the 90's for that outfit? anyway the sculp is not very bad but also not very good and she only came with lightning effects what about her icicles or tornadoes I rather SH figuarts try their hand at the marvel line I feel they would do it justice
This last X-men figures represent my X-men the team I love, that and the announcing of X-factor and Age of Apocalypse may be what I'm liking. They are finally doing the X-men from a time period I really enjoyed reading them, if they end up with an Inferno line (I know that not every body liked that saga), for me it would be perfect. All this made me wonder if Hasbro was going to start doing good figures, but even though this last ones are not so bad, I believe that the character interpretation is what I'm loving about it. Thanks for setting me strait Anthony, my opinion was going to be affected by my love for this time period. That is our Anthony, honesty and a clear head is what we love about your reviews. Keep up the good work man.
It’s because of the heavy hair that makes her upper torso and head flops backwards just like the Medusa Figure. Mine also has the same issue. Great review 👍
I was waiting for you to review her for a while and in my opinion yes she has those loose joints and I petty sure its for everyone's figure cause its on mine too but the overall design on her is amazing. Great video Anthony.
I just got one last week and the knees are wobly. The gap for the knee joint is too wide on the right leg but a bit of floor polish fixed it up a bit. Also, the cuts for the ankles are at the wrong angles on mine.
I think you got unlucky, the neck/head Dosent fall forward and there is no smudge but the figure is damm near impossible to stand up. Time to get a flight stand.
Hey! Are you gonna review this year's SDCC Dragon Ball figuarts exclusives? I don't blame ya if you don't or didn't get them, they were quite lackluster this year imo.
Yea the loose joints on yours is bad. The same problems exist on mine, but on a scale from 1-10 (10 being the worse) on how loose it is on mine compared to yours-- Mine is a 2, yours seems to be a 7 or 8. She's awesome though. Glad to own her and finally retire that toybiz one. She can join the rest of the toybiz era 90s xmen I got in the retirement box/home.
How would you fix that torso, Anthony? Does it pop off or do you need to crack the figure? I still don't have this Storm, but my Sauron does pretty much the same thing and it's annoying as all hells, don't really know how his torso works to try to add some glue.
Why wont they use the rogue body for female figures???? I think it would've looked great. Anthony if you start bringing it up in your videos maybe hasbro will listen.
Arguebly the Jim Lee is the BEST MARVEL Comic character designer, Specially to the X-MEN line.
Jim Lee can’t hold Jack Kirby’s nuts.
Reminds me of the Marvel Vs Capcom version
90s cartoon looking
Wish she had flesh colored hands like on the box.
Oh yeah. That would be nice.
At least this isn't wrong, it's just not the cartoon version.
fuck, now that's gonna bother me! Thanks for pointing that out.
The figure is awesome. I bought her yesterday and it's fine. Her articulations in her torso and head are great and with zero problems. Guess I'm lucky.
my favorite x-man!
if Anthony says she's good, i know. she's good!

Use small pieces of paper towels on the ball joints for the head & body.
Was so happy to preorder and get her. I like that the head fits on mohawk storm
Dude, I'm in Texas! Gonna have to talk about a custom
They just reused the yellow lighting she came with in the apocalypse wave
It's cool cause I'll use the extra lightning for the new havok when I get him
That lightning didn't come with that storm originally

I would like an AOA Cyclops & Dark Beast
You think we should still buy this one or wait for a new one?
This
@@AnthonysCustoms ok thanks
Got all the same problems with mine too! And had to go through a bunch of them for the X’s on the chest being messed up.

If the joint wasn't loose, she wouldn't flop.
AnthonysCustoms true
Still a great storm one of my favorite xmen

I miss the pictures after the reviews with the dramtic music. Best soundtrack of any figure reviews.
In retrospect Hally Berry was a terrible representation of storm....
I'm not sure anyone ever thought differently.
The 90s cartoon was the best for storm .
I think you got unlucky, the neck/head Dosent fall forward and there is no smudge but the figure is damm near impossible to stand up. Time to get a flight stand.
Zup Anthony, wow this one looks so much better than anime series one thanks for the video bro 😎
Always enjoy your reviews. Just got my Storm, luckily for me her joints are all perfectly tight

I will
Sculpt wise, this one or mohawk storm? If u had to pick only one which would it be? I like Mohawk storm better.
i prefer the cartoon look for the x-men. although, for iceman, aoa.

...she's a definite must have! Luckily I found her at my local comic shop! This wave is still pre order on the hasbro pulse site...
Where do you get thos flight stands?
Looks like onna them tamashii nations stands from amazon 5 - 9 $ a piece
Where do you find those clear stands that hold them aloft for the flying effect?
Where'd you get the stand?
Easy bake oven killed it !
How would you fix that torso, Anthony? Does it pop off or do you need to crack the figure?
I still don't have this Storm, but my Sauron does pretty much the same thing and it's annoying as all hells, don't really know how his torso works to try to add some glue.
This one will pop right apart. you can try putting some paper in the socket. no risk of damage.
@@AnthonysCustoms Thank you very much!
Lollipop lollipop oh lolli lollipop lollipop (pop) da dum dum.
My joints are squishy too.
❌➖MEN Fo life !!!
Great review I bought 2 😬 .
💪😎👍
What stand is he using in the begining that plugs into her back
I think he tucked it under her cape.
Hey, so, can you give examples of "buxom" fighures or molds?
rogue, moonstone, blob wave she-hulk
How 2 remove figure from card without tearing?
Cut the blister
Marbelo legals
my copy's legs are trash.
