Great vid, thanks!! I just bought one of these second hand after your review . it is a fantastic motorcycle. It is economical, nippy and has curb-appeal too
Good video. I'm moving to Germany soon and was looking at some of these to buy for myself and my wife for some cheap fun. This video helped me with my decision. Thank you! Cheers from The US.
Hi, i have several supersport bikes and a large offroad/dirtbike and the other day i got a Daelim VL 125F 2005 since i got it really cheap in really good condition it appears. Problem after doing some miles is that its almost impossible to keep going in a straight line with the bike. I've done the adjustments to ridingstyle to try and better the feeling, by keeping knees close to fueltank and just lightly pushing the handlebars, but its really a struggle to drive. Sometimes even dangerous if close to cars since never know when i need to catch it going sideways. To me it appears that the seat is way to cushy and no stability if just a bit off center on the saddle. I think maybe it would have helped to have a firmer seat so dont need to balance all the time. I dont think there is a slack in steeringbearings/wheelbearings or something like that. I run 26 psi in the tires which should be enough. But tires may be very old and hard which may contribute since they may not flex the way the should. Its like the backend responds way later after correcting on the hanndlebar. Maybe you have an idea what can be wrong or if this is just the way these cruisers handle? Milage is just 1500 on it
Hello! First put someone to hold the bike straight and go somewhere far and check if wheels are aligned (I suspect first this) after check back suspension to don't be broken. It should go straight in line without hands with 40Km/h without to go sideways. I am 182 cm tall and I sit very comfortably on it. I go between cars without struggle and also on highway at 120 km/h I feel I can take my hands from it and still goes straight. Bike should be taken for an inspection. Drive safe!
Very nice bike. Very good video and surprised to realize that you are in Cyprus... DO YOU STILL HAVE THE BIKE? DO YOU CONSIDER TO SELL IT? OR MAYBE YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS THE SAME AND WANTS TO SELL? I WILL LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU. I AM ALSO IN CYPRUS LIMASSOL. THANK YOU AND ALL THE BEST TO YOU
Hello! I saw on facebook market in last days a Daelim, time to time there is one on the market for sale here in Cyprus. I sold mine... I had many after it it was few years ago this one. Check my other videos with reviews about each of them. Only the one I have now has no review, I wait little to get warmer and I make about it also.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR ANSWER I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. GREAT VIDEOS. I AM LOOKING IN FACEBOOK EVERY DAY FOR ONE WITH NO LUCK. I WILL APPRECIATE IT IF IT COMES TO YOUR ATTENTION TO SEND ME A MAIL.... I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE IT. GOOD LUCK AND ALL THE BEST TO YOU
@@alexismouzouris3072 I recommend if you have license and you can drive bigger bikes to get a HONDA STEED 600cc instead. You just check the engine at any service and you have a better experience. In that period I was driving 125cc before to get my license for over that size. After, I have some videos with Honda steed also, much better experience for that category of motorcycle.
Thanks a lot, great review! But so you think that someone who is around 188cm and 110kg is still ok for that bike? Or does it become uncomfortable or slow?
@@MotoTrauma Thats great news! I am looked at some Keeways before and they often struggle with my weight so i am glad that the Daystar doesnt. Have a good day sir!
Just did my CBT and got this bike after. Very comfortable to ride but as has been said on a previous comment, it can be hard to cut a tighter angle when turning. The bike I did my CBT on I was sat much higher it felt and it's definitely taking some getting used to. Just trying to drive smart and aware and driving round a local industrial estate to build confidence with the maneuvering of it as it is quite a heavy bike also
@@tomandre421 you will sit yes, because doesn't matter how tall you are, you will bend little your knees upwords more than me, will be same thing, all your weight willl be on the same point, because the way is build, and hands relaxed, maybe more than me, because for me is little up, for you will be fine. This one is not affected by height. I have now also one versys 650cc, very unconfortable for both tall or short...but the Daelim Daystar 125/250, you will sit confortable on it, very good bike and fun
This one was going 140, I didn't changed anything at it for 2 years when I had it... probabley previous owner, but I don't know. But 140 km/h was going ...
It is only 125cc, all of them 2008 fuel injecrion. If it has something modified was done by the previous owner not by me, I got it like this, and was going 140km/h
Definitely it is not, you have the position of a comfortable chipper. Your knees will bend perfect and position of your back and hands will be even better ;)
@@MotoTrauma Yes, I mean size. I also consider bikes like the Leonart Daytona or bigger ones like the Honda Shadow. I have to think about it, but thank you!!
Cool, check my review of honda shadow 😎 I have shadow also, I find bigger as size daelim 125cc, but honda has more power, goes up to 180km/h, you really feel the power. If you find a good engine, shadow you can fix everything alone. Sound of shadow is also the best 👌
Idk man if it's true is rly good, Actually I have a question someone is sellin one in my city rn for 1500 gel (600$) only problem is alternator, would u recommend those bikes?
@@schwarzweissjinge2551 I would recommend it, best 125cc bike I ever had, and I had many. I went trips longer than 600Km with it with pillon my girlfriend, with a break after each 100-150km. I never had issue with it until I sold it. From time to time, it has a wire on the left side, visible without removing anything, a socket where 2 wires join, they sometimes get separated for no reason, and the bike has no more ignition, you will understand that will give no more ignition power. Rectifier I changed at 21,000km ✌️👍💪
Omg this footage is crazy cool 😎!! More!!
Thank you! ✌️💪
one of the nicest looking 125's ive seen

Does it have a fuel gauge?
Yes 300ml enough to take you to a near gas station 👌
5 feet 5 inch people can ride this ?
yes the bike is very short
from which motorcycle is this 250 engine?
The engine in the video is 125cc
how tall are you and do you sit comfortable on it?
174 cm, very confortable, one of the most confortable I seen...and I have many. It is even more confortable than my honda vlx600
