Ive got an apx4000 though Too expensive, are they really worth that much in terms of both hardware & software ❓always boggles my mind

I fail to understand why a department would not choose to upgrade to something like the APX Series, even if they were using a solution from Icom, Kenwood or Harris etc. That's what P25 is all about, being able to use radios from different vendors seamlessly

Rugged radios. I've had to throw mine at a moose, had it drop off the fire truck at 55 mph. Mine is 7 years old. APX4000
