Thanks for the video! :D I have some "noob" questions:
    - cannot you fight on a horse?
    - is "dash" really the best defence here? Basically you are giving an infinite source of IP points to the Troll
    - any advice how to fight him with a friend or 2-3 friends?

I'm glad you liked it, let's answer your questions.
Horse - trolls react to horses and pretty much cave them in immediately. They also skip their grace period when mined out if there's a horse nearby making them attack without any delay. Avoid using horses in the mines when anyone is mining around you. The odds to mine out a troll are super slim, yet, one world I managed to mine out 2 trolls when my ore pickup just arrived on her horse (on two separate occasions).
Dash - that's my way to deal with trolls. It's the safest (imo), not the fastest way to kill a troll. I like 0 damage troll fights (no damage to me) and this is just the easiest way for me to take a troll down and secure those troll belts for the village.
Killing trolls in a party - train your coordination skills on other animals. When one person hits the target, there's a small duration right after when multiple other people can push their attacks in before the target can react. That's what you're aiming for. I have a duo troll kill on my channel, you might be able to find that. It's all about your synergy, lower your openings, prepare your IPs and you all move in at the same time. Certain AIs in the game use different combat moves based on the amount of targets, trolls included and their AoE is something I prefer to avoid, that's another reason why I like fighting them solo. Solo kills were my safest kills. Party kills were usually more fun.
      Key notes:
      - Mine out and pave an arena for trolls, makes your life much easier, you have to drink less and you lower the chance of getting caved in 'cause the troll got stuck on something.
      - Have plenty of water and some food on you in case the fight takes longer.
      - Have a safehouse built nearby which you can use to deaggro and restart the fight later.
      - Use an alt with buckets of water to move the troll around, never "transport" the troll with any valuable character.
      - Use the aforementioned alt to pull the troll away from your party in case things go south.
      - Always expect the worst case scenario.
      Tip for learning the fight:
      - Have your other villagers that are not participating in the fight on standby using naked alts with water. They can take part of the fight by pulling the troll and running it around the arena, whenever your fighters are gaining IP, lowering openings, drinking etc. This lowers the pressure on your fighters by a lot. Just need to understand how to pull the troll. If multiple people fight the same AI target, it checks in periodic intervals, who's the closest enemy and choses that person as its target. So, if you want to aggro the troll with an alt and pull it away from your fighters, you need to be closer than them to the troll for a bit to gain the aggro.
